Enable transparent header without having home slider placed behind it?

Hi, I have a Cyclone slider that I want fully below the header menu on my homepage, but I want to still have the transparent header so that I can use two separate logos for when the header is normal vs. when it shrinks when scrolling down.

I don’t really care about the transparency effect for the header; I just want to retain the ability to have a taller logo image with the full-height menu header, and then switch to a shorter-height logo image (I’m actually removing a second line of text from the logo) when scrolling down shrinks the header.

The slider doesn’t look good when the top of it is placed up behind the transparent header, so I disabled “Place behind Header”, but then I lost the ability to have two separate logo images for shrink/non-shrink.

Any suggestions? Some CSS?

Thanks,
Ben
