Pinnacle Staff Shortcode/Grid-Can staff group filter be added?

Hi I was wondering if there is a way to show the staff grid, either the staff grid page or staff shortcode, with the Staff Groups above as a filter, just like the portfolio item grid can show the portfolio categories?
