Hi,

Is there a way to create custom icons for the topbar menu that can be edited with CSS the same way as the ones from the default/bundled icons do? I tried converting my icons to .ico format thinking that would work but they’re still treated as images— , and not as icons— <i>.

Is there a folder somewhere where I could save my custom icons directly with the default icons? Would that make a difference, if they were selected from the list and didn’t need to be uploaded like other WordPress media? The reasons I want to have my custom icons be editable with CSS is to have them change colour for their hover state, and also to make them easier to resize.

Thanks,

-Adam
