Home-page Icon Menu Padding Problem…

I’m having a bit of trouble trying to target the Home page Icon Menu.
I would like to decrease the distance of white space from the top of the icons to the foot of the header.
I tried this:
.home-iconmenu .home-icon-item {
padding-top: 25px;
}
…but no luck. Can you help? Thanks…
