Use Video as Portfolio's Featured Image?

Hi Ben,
Is is possible to use the a Portfolio video as the featured image on the Portfolio Grid page. For example not to have to upload a separate image for the video that appears on the portfolio single page? Here is the single portfolio page *Login to see link
Can this screen capture of the video be used on the grid page or do I always need to provide a featured image as well?
