Problem with parallax image

Hi
I have a parallax image set up half way down my front page and when the page first opens it behaves strangely in that as you scroll down the top of the image moves down leaving a pale blue background behind and does then moves up again as you scroll up. After I refresh the page several times it behaves perfectly. Any ideas why it would do this?
