lightbox settings – no shadow behind images

Many thanks for your theme! I really like it!
I’m putting together a photography portfolio for a client and I am using the wp masonry gallery setup. I have changed the background colour in the lightbox to white, and now there is a shadow behind the image. Is there a way to change this? I dont want the shadow to appear.
I also want to change the arrow style, is there a way to make the grey line thinner?
