How to display specific products / product categories in a carousel

Hi Ben,
I have been trying to use shortcodes to display specific products or product categories within a page (home page).
So far I used [carousel type=featured-products columns=4 items=8 speed=9000 scroll=all cat=photos]. Is there anything similar that allows me to pick specific categories rather than Sale Products Featured?
Example: I have 2 product categories (T-Shirts | Bags). In the home page I want to display 2 separate carousels for these kind of products. How do I do it?
