Hi Hannah,
I was trying to make the footer only 1 column with the above CSS. I’ve since changed my mind and removed that CSS and now the Contact Page works great. Sorry about the confusion and thank you for getting back to me so quickly!
Kindest regards,
Jennifer

May 12, 2016 at 11:48 am #94676If you change the columns to 4 that would make the gallery items smaller?
Right now they are 1/3 of the width of the footer column. If you force them smaller in three rows you would end up with larger gaps in that column are you wanting that?

Hi Ben,
Thanks. The intention is to apply the 6 pictures in the third column of the footer, and that the pictures should all have the same size. So a possibility to set the size of the pictures. See what is going wrong. That could be due to different sizes of the original size? but that should be possible?http://postimg.org/image/785m3f71d/
The images should be static , just a link to a particular page , no enlargement of the image (no lightbox)

May 9, 2016 at 8:20 am #94116Hey Venci,
That isn’t something that would be built in.So you use a child theme and build in another widget area into the footer.
Or as a workaround you can change the columns to two. In your theme options > footer settings. Then add this css:
.footercol1, .footercol2 { width:100%; }That will give your footer two rows with 1 widget area in each. Then you can use the “layout builder” widget from pagebuilder and create 4 columns with the top widget area. Make sense?

Hey Gaurav,
1. I would actually suggest setting your homepage as your latest post page (Settings > Reading). Then in Theme Options > Home Layout ensure that you have Page Content enabled in the Homepage Layout Manager. Then if you scroll down to Page Content Options (if home page is latest post page) you can turn on Use Post Grid Format and set the number of columns to 3.2. Have you already created a page for all your posts (using the blog template)? If so, you can link to that page from your primary menu (Appearance > Menus). Does that work for you?
3. You just want one column centered? If so, select the two column Footer Widget Layout from Theme Options > Footer. Then add your content to the column 1 from Appearance > Widgets. Then add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:
.col-md-6.col-sm-6.footercol1 { width: 100%; text-align: center; margin: 0; }4. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#shortcodes

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
As I explore virtue theme, I am trying to address the below requirements at my site
The site is secondrecipe.com
1.I am looking to have 3 columns instead of 2 columns on the home page layout(excluding the sidebar).
(I tried using the pagebuilder, but I think it will require more expertise to do that.)2. What is the best way to give a link on the main page which can list all the posts, instead of the user going to each category or archives ?
3.I am trying to look for an option where the footer is not broken in 2/3/4 columns but only 1 column.The footer layout option does not give that.
4. Do you have any comprehensive list of virtue short codes ?
Thanks

Hey Casey,
I’m not seeing a search tab in the top left corner? If you want to increase the phone number size you can use this css:.topbarmenu ul li a { font-size: 15px; }Just paste it in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
You can add a search widget to your fourth footer column from Appearance > Widgets.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Anchors won't hold…
Hi Ben, Hannah,
I’m wrapping up the details for our new website.
I found: *Login to see link
This works.
The problem I have is the offset. It seems oblivious to the code that’s supposed to fix that. See this forum thread.
In “Footer Column 1” I placed WordPress’ “Arbitrary Text widget” with the following code:
<script type="text/javascript">jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {$('#nav-main').localScroll({offset: 80});});</script><script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
if ($('#accordionname1').length) {
if (location.hash){
if($(location.hash).hasClass('in') ) {
} else {
$('#accordionname1 .in').parent('.panel-default').find('.accordion-toggle').addClass('collapsed');
$('#accordionname1 .in').collapse('hide');
$(location.hash).collapse('show');
$(location.hash).parent('.panel-default').find('.accordion-toggle').removeClass('collapsed');
}
}
}
});
</script>The second script works, the first one doesn’t.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks!
Robert

April 7, 2016 at 12:46 pm #89646Hey,
1. In terms of the footer. Go to apperance > widgets. click on the 2nd footer column widget area and remove the empty text widget.2. In your admin look down the menu for the “kadence slider” click on that page and edit the home slider.

In forum: Virtue Themehello
my site is conop.us
and in the footer, i have a gallery i am putting in column 2. i have already made the css to make column 2 80% of the width, and i have created a gallery for the column. i wanted the images to be smaller, so in a 5 column gallery, i changed .tcol-lg-25 size to 15% as opposed to the standard 20%.
but what is happening now is all of the items are going over to the left.. is there a better way to make them still take up 100% of the width while keeping the smaller size?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Mobile site issues
To Ben:
1. In your theme options > menu settings. Do you have a hover color set for the mobile menu.
IN MY MOBILE MENU FONT, IT’S WHITE. NO COLOR SELECTED FOR Mobile Hover and Active Font Color AND Mobile Hover and Active Background Color2. That is jetpack, not the theme.
YES I DEACTIVATED MOBILE THEME IN JETPACK. AND WHERE DO I FIND COPYRIGHT FOOTER IN JETPACK?3. I’m not sure I don’t think I can see this page without a login?
Using pagebuilder the layout would switch to mobile and have columns turn to rows. so they can be seen and read better.
THAT WHAT IT MUST HAVE DONE. I THINK I WILL LEAVE THIS ALONE UNLESS CLIENTS DON’T LIKE IT.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Mobile site issues
I did have Jetpack’s mobile theme activated. I deactivated, and the mobile view option is no longer there at the bottom of the website on my phone. I didn’t realize that it interfered with your theme’s responsive features. I think this did it.
Now the only mobile issues have to do with the following:
1. Menu is there as a teal color box on right, but when I click it it only shows home page. The other links are there but can’t see them until I click under “home” link. When clicked they are very faint in color. On my computer, the menu text color is a grey and when hovered it is teal. And remains teal when it takes me to that page. Maybe that is why on the phone, the nav links are basically invisible because the menu box on the right is teal color. How can I fix that just for the mobile devices? Usually on other sites, there is a similar box but has white lines in it designating it has the menu bar; and when clicked all nav links are clearly seen.
What changes do I make if any via your Mobile Menu Options to make it easier to see menu on mobile devices?
2. On my phone, the Calendar page and About Us page at the bottom as the footer copyright as “Proudly powered by WordPress.” Would like it to be the same as it is on my computer view, “© 2016 Choice Connection.” All other mobile pages with open and logged in access have the correct copyright footer.
3. On the logged in access only page, Living Inside-Out, the mobile view of the first two paragraphs are laid out in a table with 2 columns using the Site Origin Editor. But in the mobile view it breaks up the table and lays them out one on top of the other. Correct layout is below. Hope I make sense here. If it’s too involved to correct, I’ll just ignore it.

March 22, 2016 at 10:19 am #87133Hey,
I’m in.1. In footer column one you have a text widget with this:
<script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function ($) { $('#portfoliowrapper-home').isotopeb({ filter: '.fun-foods-2' }); $('#options .option-set').find('.selected').removeClass('selected'); $('#options .option-set').find('a[rel=.fun-foods-2]').addClass('selected'); }); </script>I don’t know why you would say you didn’t but it’s there. You can go look.
Removing that and your page works.
It also shows the css working just fine.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeMarch 14, 2016 at 4:21 pm #85801Hey,
First off I updated the theme. you were using 1.4.0
then I added the script to your footer since you were using a shortcode inside of a fullwidth row. There is a timing thing that has to be set.Just so you know in the footer there is a text widget with this js:
<script text="javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function ($) { $(window).on("debouncedresize", function( event ) { $('.init-isotope').each(function(){ var isocontainer = $(this), iso_selector = $(this).data('iso-selector'), iso_style = $(this).data('iso-style'), iso_filter = $(this).data('iso-filter'); if(iso_style == null) {iso_style = 'masonry';} if(iso_filter == null) {iso_filter = 'false';} setTimeout(function() {isocontainer.isotopeb({masonry: {columnWidth: iso_selector}, layoutMode:iso_style, itemSelector: iso_selector, transitionDuration: '0.8s'}); }, 300); }); }); }); </script>Ben
