    Hi, Milla!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    When I inspect the page and that specific section, I still see the default edge padding values being used though. Could you send us screenshots of which settings/options you changed? Did you change the tablet/mobile padding values for the Row Layout blocks on that page?

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi, Mark!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    Yes, that could help us with understanding and check your current layout. Follow the steps from this post to generate a login link for us on your test website.

    Then, send us the generated login link. If you want it to be more secure, submit a ticket on this page so we can communicate this via email instead of a forum.

    Please let us know how we can help you further.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Hi there,

    There is no option to select the posts to be displayed in the Post Grid/Carousel block based on the parent to child relationship of pages or posts.

    One option and perhaps an easier way to do this is to enable the Categories taxonomy on your pages.

    Categories and tags are not enabled by default on WordPress. You can install a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/pages-with-category-and-tag to enable them.

    Once enabled, you can set categories and tags to your dictionary pages and the Post Grid/Carousel block will also be able to detect and use them for the display condition.

    Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/z8ubAkwA

    Please let us know how it goes, we’ll be more than happy to help.

    Best regards,
    Teejay.

    Hi Lynne,

    I am not able to replicate this on my test website. I created a test page where I inserted an Icon List block. The list is being displayed correctly on both the landscape and portrait version on my tablet.

    Please see these screenshots for reference:

    Portrait: https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uZpXdo
    Lanscape: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6u7k8WL

    Here’s the link to the test page: https://teejay.pluginsupportwp.com/3845-2/

    Can we have the link to this page where we can see this happening?

    Best regards,
    Teejay.

    Hello,

    Currently, there’s no function for this yet. What I can suggest is to use advanced custom field. Then, create a hooked element to pull the subtitle once and display it across pages.

    However, this requires Kadence Blocks Pro‘s dynamic feature.

    If this does not work for you, you can submit an official feature request here → https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/

    Let us know how we can assist further.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

    Just checking, has the answer to this changed in the last couple of years?

    It would be VERY handy just to have this available for standard page & post layouts, without having to recreate with Elements.

    It happens on both the latest Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Windows 11 in mobile view. You can also see in the screenshot attached to the first post what Google’s Page Speed Insights sees. I have cleared the cache both locally and on the web host. I can see it every time I reload the page on my phone but it’s a quick flash before it reformats to the proper layout. If I edit the network settings of the Chrome browser to Slow 3G w/ cpu throttling (Right click -> Inspect -> Performance Insights -> Throttling -> Slow 3G 4x slowdown) it becomes very obvious when the page loads and is called out within the waterfall. See the attached screenshot. It specifically calls out kb-splide-init.min.js as the script that causes the layout shift.

    Hi Karla,

    That’s the Author field you’ve added, so not the logged in user, but the Author of the page? Does it actually pull the current user field through? Or the Author data? As they’d give different results.

    Hi jpkontek,
    Thanks for reaching out! In Theme Options > Blog Options > Blog Posts Default Image what do you have “Single Image Post Head Content” set to? Be sure it is set to image. Then be sure you’re not overriding this on your individual edit pages.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Same problem here.
    It seems to me that happening only on template parts and not when its used on actual pages.

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    I saw that the columns collapse on screen widths of 1024px. If you want the sidebar content to show at the top already, adjust the custom CSS code above to:

    @media (max-width: 1024px) {
        .has-sidebar .content-container.site-container {
            display: flex;
            flex-direction: column-reverse;
        }
    }

    This is how it should work on your page – https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDuEW0bE.

    Add the CSS code in Customizer > Additional CSShttps://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-do-i-add-custom-css/.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    Could you clarify what you mean by “lowest archive hierarchy”?

    If you want to show specific posts as the first post listed on archive pages, you can make use of WordPress’ sticky post option – https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/functionality/sticky-posts/#how-to-stick-a-post.

    Please let us know if we can help you further with this.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    There is no built-in option to add another icon to the Advanced Text block. If you want icons on both sides, I recommend this block layout:

    • Use a Section block and set its inner column direction to Horizontal
    • Add the Advanced Text block and Icon block

    Here’s a screen recording of how it worked on my website’s page – https://share.getcloudapp.com/12ukpQL8.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

    On mobile, my pagination breaks onto a second line, like this:

    < 1 2 3 4 5 …
    11 >

    I was hoping that there is a way to keep this on one line so it does not overflow into a second line. So far, I’ve tried changing the font size but it did not fix the issue. It seems that the number of displayed pages needs to be limited.

    Cheers,

    Mark

    Hi,
    I have some kind of a dictionary on my website. I want to place a “Posts” grid on my homepage that will show different pages randomly (thumbnail + title, no extra meta). Unfortunately, I have made all these pages as ‘pages’ and not ‘posts’, and I also have different type of pages, so I can’t really set the grid to show the dictionary entries alone (without it showing pages of different parent-page). Is there any way to set the grid to show only a specific parent page? that specific grid will only be on the homepage, there will be no other grids of this kind on the website (i.e. other grid showing other pages of a different parent page), so if its possible to “lock” the pages grid to only show a specific parent page, it is fine by me.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

    I’m having the same problem in all the installations. The blog (archive page) doesn’t appear in the breadcrumbs.
    I know Yoast has an option to make it visible, so it is possible. Although, I’m not using it and some of my clients don’t use Yoast anymore, It is too heavy. That’s why we relay on Kadence breadcrumbs.

    Any ideas how to solve this?
    Is there any plan to add this to Kadence theme?

    Thanks very much!
    Luis

    I am running Kadence Blocks Version 3.0.38. I have an advanced carousel on my homepage that has 5 150x50px company logos in it. When it loads on mobile the logos load full screen width and stacked vertically before they load in the proper 3 column layout. This causes a massive vertical layout shift for the page. I don’t remember this behavior happening on older versions of the plugin. When inspecting the CSS the images have a height and width value, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I do run an image optimizing plugin (short pixel) and a caching plugin (litespeed cache) however the behavior is the same even when all plugins and caching are disabled.

    So, now I’ll bring some light into the darkness.

    To embed custom fonts (not to be confused with Google Fonts) you need a total of 3 snippets.

    https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/adding-custom-fonts-to-kadence/
    This snippet is for the customizer in the front-end.
    Here you can define your H and P tags.

    https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/documentation/advanced/adding-a-custom-font-to-kadence-blocks/
    With this snippet you can select your custom Font from the drop-down Font list in the Edit-Page.

    And last but not least the snippet from Chito (see above).
    This will display and embed your custom font in the Edit-Page.

    Bye

    I have a WooTemplate for category archives that uses an Archive: Main Query block to show the products in the current category.

    I want my archive page to show product images at 400×400. Unfortunately it’s grabbing the 300×300 image and upscaling which creates a fuzzy result.

    I want to force it to use the 600×600 image (aka the Woocommerce image size). I’m not concerned by the additional file size.

    I created a Product Catalog Loop Item but I see no way to tweak the settings for the Product Image.

    I tried replacing the Product Image with the Featured Image. Unfortunately, that grabs the full image 1200×1200. It also loses the hover animation for the blue block at the bottom with the price etc. (I’m guessing some CSS is hardwired to slide up over the Product Image).

    How do I force it to use the 600×600 image?

    Cheers, Richard
