Dear Kadence Team,

We are faicing the issue with Kadence free theme and Elementor Pro, with a basic function like anchor widget. I added the anchor widget from elementor to the theme, when i click the link word or button the achor works and directs me to the place where it should, however the theme creates an extra url (please see video *Login to see link ) and for example when you refresh the page it will jump again to the achor section.

We have contacted the Elementor support team first and they back tu us with this:

“After I disabled all 3rd party plugins besides Elementor, and Elementor pro and switched the theme to the Hello Elementor, the issue disappeared. Please check the following loom I made for you.

Please check the test page I made for you: *Login to see link

You should click on the red button.

In this case, as we have no control over coding for third-party plugins or themes, we highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for this theme Kadence so they may further troubleshoot and provide any recommendation (or possible fix) to resolve this issue.”

And we have created as well our test website without Kadence theme, and with Hello Elementor theme, no 3rd party plugins and works perfectly.

So the theme is causing the issue for sure. Any help would be appriciated, this is so basic fuction that we do no want tu use for it 3rd party plugins as it is only anchor. We are not realy techical people but we will follow your guidance.

When working in a “social icons” widget in the header or footer editor, there is a Discord icon available. However if you’re working in the page editor and add a “social icons” block, there is not a Discort icon available. Why is that? I’d really recommend adding this soon. Discord is increasingly one of the top social forums for businesses and creators.

​Then, since you have the Ascend Premium theme, you do not need to install another plugin to insert codes inside the header and footer. Here’s what you’ll do:

1. Go to Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts.
2. Then, add the script from Google in the Header Output input – https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LugD9Lr
3. Lastly, check if the script works.

Also I noticed that on https://ccgweighing.com/posts/, the breadcrumbs are shown while on other pages in https://ccgweighing.com/ they are not shown. Does this give you a clue?

OK thanks Karla. Cleared the WP-Optimize cache and browser cache. I’m not an expert at WordPress but if you look at https://sagensound.ca/ you will see breadcrumbs (and title) on all pages, as I set it up in Appearance/Customize. This does not happen with https://iwsystems.ca/ or the other sites on which I would like it to happen. Under Console in Developer Tools (Google Chrome) I see a lot of Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT messages but very few of these for https://sagensound.ca/. I looked for https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOu19Yxk? but did not find it.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the link and screenshot.

It seems that your site’s SSL certificate is expired, hence not secure, and I suspect this is the reason for this issue. Requests done on the site are usually being blocked if a site is using HTTP instead of HTTPS: http://www.autogizmo.co.uk/

Hi there,

Thanks for the additional info.

It’s not possible in the free version. You will need the Kadence Pro plugin to be able to use Kadence Conditional Header. This allows you to create multiple headers and target the subpages in the Display Settings.

Hi all,

I have a few websites using various different Virtue/Ascend themes with no issues, but i have one new site im trying to build where no matter what theme i use, the theme options menu screen wont load, outer page loads up but with nothing displayed, when i try clicking a menu on the side i just get a javascript:void(0); message in the bottom left corner of the screen. ive tried reloading both wordpress and theme multiple times, also disabled all plugins and still get the same issue. any thoughts?

I ended up replacing the category pages with normal pages, and making the breadcrumbs and meta permalinks link to those, rather than the categories.

The breadcrumbs are shown inside the title sections. If you use the shortcode, the breadcrumbs should show on that specific location.

If the issue only happens on one of your websites, then I believe it is not a bug. Please could you specify which page or post should the breadcrumbs be showing on the https://iwsystems.ca/ website?

Should they be shown inside this section – https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOu19Yxk? I inspected the page but I didn’t see any HTML related to the breadcrumbs.

Does it only work with one button per page? I tried doing the exact same thing to a second button, but now only the 1st button is working to trigger the widget toggle menu. I even duplicated the Advanced Button block of the working button, confirmed there is nothing different between the two and that both have the same “widget-toggle-menu” Additional CSS Class, and yet only the first one works.

If I switch the order of the two advanced buttons, and the duplicated one is the first one that is on the page, then it becomes the only working one, so I assume I have to create a 2nd Custom script for if there is more than one button on a page which needs to trigger it. Is there a better way to do this?

As a Kadence Premium member, I have the plugin.

I added the GA4 Code – Is this correct? See the attachment, as I’m not sure this is correct.

Secondly, I am unsure how exactly to get to the same screen – must I go into Pages? The code is as follows:
GA4 (348114936)

So do I add the code exactly like that or with – between the G4 and numbers in brackets? Please assist me here.
