I am using the Virtue Premium theme on this site: *Login to see link

I am using the Home Layout with Featured Blog posts.

As you can see at the page above, the two featured images are not cropped to be an equal height so that they line up.

Also, I would like the featured images to each be smaller overall…perhaps 60% of their current size.

Is there any way to fix these two issues?

Ok, same code

It’s actually not the same though. your home page has more empty spaces in the code. But either way thats an bad way to set the height of an item.

Setting a min height would effect all so you just need to define an ID if you want to be specific.

In the shortcode for the icon box add id=”325″ for items that you want to have a height of 325.

Then use this css:

.kad-icon-box-325 {
    min-height: 325px;
}

2. You need to make sure to look at the widget on the text tab and make sure to remove any extra p tags. And make sure to turn off the auto paragraph check box.

Please just clarify what you want and I can help. Are you wanting a slider just for the home page or are you wanting it for every page?

Can you provide some more details about how you’ve got this configured? What plugin are you referring to?

The theme overrides template selection when you assign the static page. I’m not sure of a workaround, but Hannah or Ben should be able to clear this up.

I installed the the page builder plug-in and it doesn’t have the (visual/text) buttons so that I can toggle back and forth between my page content.

Hey Debra,
Do you still have a page that you are unable to view? If so, which one?
You can create a mosaic gallery by using the Virtue: Gallery widget. There’s an option to set the gallery type to Mosaic. You can add this to a page using page builder or to a widget area through appearance > widgets.

I am in the process of replicating the home page currently at *Login to see link to wordpress at http://181.224.148.70/~actsystems/

Can you please guide me as to the best way to

1) get the icon menu at the bottom of the page to be as close to the orginal as possible. I have tried to use an info box but there may be a better way?
2) Get the rollover effect on the 3 image menu buttons on the original as close as possible in size and effect?
3) Add a small white margin above the slider.

Ok, same code on home page as on this page for the bottom right icon box with heart icon
If you look closely, there is more space between the text and the optin form on the 2nd page than on the home page, and also more space below the optin form
What am I missing?

About the 2nd thing I mentioned about the optin form in the 2nd footer: if you look at it on the home page and the other page I mentioned above, you can tell that there is again an additional space above the optin form. It is the same code, the same footer, so it can’t even be about any difference there… so it must be either unexpected behavior by the Page or by the optin form… in my logics. Do you have any ideas?

Hi Hannah,
I am working on the clients second website – http://gccdesigns4u.com/test/
I have downloaded the the 4th version of the Virtue theme. It took several attempts and finally got the message that the entire version had loaded. Now the landing page never loads. I believe it has to do with the Kadence Slider Pro. I chose that version because like the way it looks on the demo page.
Another question I have, how do I make the words fly into the slides, like on the demo page – http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-4/

How do I access the 2 blocks – shop the new gear packs and explore the travel blog. I didn’t see them on the back end on the visual editor of the landing page.
Sorry one more, I can’t find where to load the background image behind like what you see.

One problem appeared and I don’t know what to do whit it.
On shop page, under the page title there is a string which shows how many products are on the shop.
But now this string start showing than on my shop is only one product, however it is obvious that there are more, than one.

Hi there, I want to add a search bar specific to a plugin and had to create a Custom Template. This has been done and it’s working perfectly on on a normal page, but as soon as I click to make that page the Static Page, it kicks out the custom template. Please help.

I found the image option on the theme menu but need a shortcode for the image. How do I get this or is there another way ?

Ben – all Virtue Premium official option lists include varpuseksi slider in the blog page. http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/virtue-premium-features/

I wouldn’t want to touch the code, got my page mixed up when trying to get the image short code from functions.php page.

I don’t care whether it’s slider that doesn’t move or an image as long as I get it there.

If I need to touch the code I’d like specific instructions where to enter the code (e.g.if in the function – in the beginning?) and where to add the image name.

Can you please tell me why my virtual editor is not giving me an option in the upper right hand corner to use (plain text) or (code). It’s completely blank. Instead , there should be two tabs there where I can toggle back and forth. Any explanation for this?
Could the files or plugins be corrupted. I cannot write anything on my pages without the visual editor allowing to write my content in text format instead of code.

Hi Ben,

I want the primary menu text options to be justified to the boxed width (by boxed width, I mean the width of the homepage slider and the content below the slider), so the first menu option aligns with the left hand side of the home page slider and the last menu option with the right hand side of the homepage slider, and all other menu options being evenly spaced in between.

I hope that’s clearer!

I’ve got a portfolio page with an image grid. On desktop it works ok. But on mobile it doesn’t load the full height of the image grid therefore it loads the footer up top behind the image grid.

Here’s an example. Hopefully it works. It’s kinda hard to see the footer because it’s very light but you can kinda see the copyright symbol sticking out to the left of the first item.
