having a problem. when you land on my shop button and you click on product categories, I seem not to be able to post more than 12 different product categories on this page. My hope was to make this scroll-able for my customer to view all our product categories which are numerous.

Please advice a way in which to execute this.

Hi again Hannah,

As I am trying to figure this out, I’m getting into quite a muddle. I know have TWO TITLES in both blog posts and product posts! And I can’t figure out how to switch off the bottom one in both cases.

I would like to achieve the following:

Original art, limited edition prints and guest artist category products will have Category as Title in header, and the Title of the post will appear on the product page. Like this: http://www.tracyalgar.co.za/shop/fire-eater-original/ – I am happy with this the way it is working.

Workshops category products will have Workshops (category) at Title in header, and the Title of the post will NOT appear on the product page.
An example of a page I would like to achieve this on is: http://www.tracyalgar.co.za/shop/creative-self-expression-20-21-aug-2016/
I would like to structure the title differently on this page, so I want to put it in the product body, so that it appears under the price.

Blog posts will have the Title in header and the Title of the post will NOT appear below the header. As you can see in this example, I have both. I can’t figure out how to remove the bottom one.

The settings in the Theme Options that I am using are as follows:

Single Product Settings
Show the Title in header by default is ON
Show the Title in post is ON

Blog Options
Show the post title in head by default is ON

Hey,
Do you have the page builder plugin installed and activated? Also ensure that page builder is selected from the Screen Options tab on the top right of the edit page.

The links that are on the page have the “https://” in it already. Do you think there is an issue because it is a sub domain?

On our end we think wordpress is sending something/not including something because this website (http://www.twcnews.com/nys/central-ny/news/2016/03/2/chevy-court-state-fair-lineup-acts.html) has a link to the site and it is able to open it.

Any thoughts?

I am having issues adding a link to the new york state fair website. When I click the links I get an error (403) that I cant get to the website. However, when I refresh the page the page shows up. Is this an issue with my site or an issue with the state fair’s site? I have never seen this issue before when linking to a website. Here is the page that has the links: *Login to see link

This is something you might be able to accomplish with an iframe plugin, but I’m not entirely sure. You can try this:

or maybe this:

I’ve cleared the cache – still no joy. This is the css that I’ve added in the custom css box so far:

Try resaving your permalinks. If you’ve changed the title of your portfolio page, you may need to update the permalinks.

The Kadence Slider just has more options. The fullwidth is very basic with limited options. The changes to your page will depend on how you configure your slider.

You need to go into the options for the Kadence Slider or Revolution Slider and create one. After you make the slider, a shortcode will be generated. You’ll place the shortcode into the category, and it will display on your category page. here is a tutorial on using the Kadence Slider Pro.

Is there a way to choose which projects appear in the FEATURED PROJECTS carousel on my home page? Currently, all projects appear randomly.

I tried using the Attributes > Order feature, setting my desired projects to 1, 2 … and leaving all others set to 0, but that doesn’t seem to work.

I imagine there might be a way based on portfolio type, but I have projects from multiple types that I would like to feature. Not ideal, but I could create a portfolio type called “Featured”. If choosing by portfolio type is the only solution, where would I find this setting?

On the home page, I have a pagebuilder on the home widget, that among other things, has a two column row with 2 icon boxes
the idea is for the 2 icon boxes to be side by side and have the same size and dimensions
I noticed that that only depends on how much content (incl spaces) I put in there
So I managed to have them look the same through that formatting

I want to have the same 2 icon boxes at the bottom of my blog posts – which worked well too

But then, for some reason I can’t get the same dimensions to show at the bottom of my pages unless I remove the actual icon

The reason I think is some conflict with a Convertkit optin form in the 2nd box (on the right side each time)

But I don’t understand why this works on my home page and blog posts, but not on pages…

As you can see, it’s about the 2nd icon box that contains the optin.
On pages, I need to delete the actual icon (a heart – see home page) to get the 2nd box to match the dimensions of the 1st box
For some reason, on pages, there is an extra blank space between the text and the optin form that is larger than on the home page or blog posts

However, the code is the same for that 2nd box on all 3 (blog post, home page, page)

What am I missing..? Any ideas..? I hope my explanation is clear to you. Let me know if you need more info.

I am also checking with the folks at Convertkit if there is something about their forms or code that behaves differently on WP Pages than on posts or other..
It seems that for some reason Pages are handling the code different, or, that the optin form handles Pages differently.. not sure which it is..
This optin form in the footer is not configured separately for pages or home and posts, so that makes it extra confusing to me. In the previous story at least the 2 icon boxes are configured each time for each location separately, though the code when I look at it, is exactly the same… Help!
