Based on the steps you posted you don’t need ftp. Just go to add media in wordpress and upload your video.

Then get the file location for that video (you can see this on the media page).

I’ve now got my head around custom post types and custom fields
I need to see if you have a tutorial or point me somewhere to learn how to make custom templates.
Just to verify, all post pages create have an archive? unless you create a custom template?

How do you style individual archive content like pagebuilder..
Seems you just pick a full width page and put in content widget, and then it puts in the right archive content based on the slug?

OR

OR is it better just to create a page, add the visual editor and put in some shortcode.
I’m getting very comfortable with the rapidity of pagebuilder, so I want the easy way for now.

I created one page and i placed some carousels with the widget.

Is is possible to make the carousel title work as a link? I mean…

One of the carousels is for example featured products, and some other for different product cattegories but of course they display for example only 5-10 items of the shop…

is it any way that when clicking on the tittle of the carousel a new page (or same) opens pointing to all products of the same category that the widget shows? I can see in “widget styles” an option for link color in “design” but no place for entering a link….

Thank you Ben, topbar menu is beautiful. But I have some issues I haven’t found a solution …
1. I have no competence in CSS, how is it possible to move the menu a bit lower, closer to main menu?
2. I want to use the same blog for both languages, how to do that last blog posts from ENG Blog would appear also to DE home page?

When you try to fill in the contact page the text is white , so you cant see what you are typing.

we did a css code which hanah gives us before : .contactformcase p, .contactformcase h3, .contactformcase {
color: white;
}

But this is the form itself

is there a way to solve this with the typografy settings ?

Im using a kadence slider as a header and within the page we use also a kadence slide.
But when you look at the page the slide from within the page is cropped.

Hi,

From yesterday we can’t use the button update cart. if you change the number of products in the cart and press update cart nothing happends but if we change and press enter on the keyboard it works.

It seems like the button has some kind of error…

All the buttons that says add to cart works on the product and also to change the number of products on the product page so it’s only when you like to look att the cart and update it.

Hi
is my English so bad?
The issue/problem is not the mobile menu dropdown but that overlay menu doesn’t scroll at all.
It centers on the underneath page visited at the moment, filling the screen height and stop.
Thus, if by chance you are on homepage that’s fine it scrolls completely up and down but if you are on another page it doesn’t scroll and is the underneath page scrolling.
I wish I better explained the issue this time.

I hope you can help me. I’m trying to install a few different website spokesperson videos we had made on the home page as well as on few shop category pages and regular pages. I think need to do it through the ftp but I’m not sure exactly which file(s) to install them in.

Installing on WordPress, Joomla, or a Website Builder

Wordpress- With wordpress if your home page is not an actual page and is just a template, the template to add the line of code to is index.php. Also, sometimes wordpress will not allow you to choose where you upload your files to. If this is the case you need to follow these simple steps.

Use the wordpress file manager to upload the files.
Find out where that is, the full url. For example, “*Login to see link
Then in the wthvideo.js file change the path value from “wthvideo” to the url in step 1 and upload it.
Then in the line of code replace the wthvideo portion of the src value with the location of your files.

I’m not working with the copy, just trying to move the background image UP in the parallax so it crops differently when it completes.
So when the scroll down is complete the image is not as low in the frame as it is now.

I’ve tried to use the inspector to find out which selector does it and messed with the padding but it’s not working.

Specifically it’s the background image of the Row in pagebuilder. Not the widgets. I want to move the image up in the background so it ends differently.
I’m not used to working with these parallax.

Hey,
You would need to ask Yoast support for a “site with info” but as I understand it you just make sure polylang isn’t copying meta data between language (so it’s seperate per language). this is how its set up by default. So all you do is fill out your SEO data for each page in each language.

If you want something page specific then you would need to use css and for that you would need to pose a link to the page.

Using paypal standard and woocommerce. Need to add html code generated when button was created in PayPal to product in my Shop and Cart pages.
A) How do I do that? And
B) Once the paypal button is in place, how would I delete the “add to cart button” generated by Virtue there already?
C) Additionally, how do I control where the button is on the page?
