If you put your cursor under the blazer category, it reflects there’s an item them. But it’s not visible on the page.

In your woocommerce settings make sure there is a page assigned as the shop page. Can you also post a link?

Hey,

You create pages first. Then add them to menus. So sounds like you may be doing this backwards.

When you create the page first then you can go to apperance > menus and add that page into your menu.

For things like categories you can add those as you make them. So in posts > categories you can make a category then in apperance > menus you can add that category to the menu.

I tried to login to your site with the user you gave but since it wasn’t a admin user I could only see the front end. I did see that you have a page for recipes and that you’ve got one post showing on that page.

Hello,

I just bought the Virtue theme and everything seems to be working fine except I can’t see the products uploaded and sub product categories.

When I check preview page I can see it. But it won’t show on the product page.

Please help.

Ben: yeh I was looking for the image to go right across the full width – I mentioned contained because I was looking at the background images help page where you speak about parallex backgrounds but I probably picked it up wrong.

Hannah: thank you I will try the header background option instead of having the logo and see how it goes. In regards the background image I could see an optimal size to create a smooth transition for repeat patterns and I couldn’t work out how to have the body and the footer background as one (if it’s possible)

I’m not seeing a background for the header with an image in it? seems you put a page title background with image. You can set the header background in your theme options > advnaced styling.

You can turn on page cache but you have to turn it off for the front page. Thats an option in the cache settings.

Ben,

you are simply brilliant !

On the homne page, the single big sqaure of the “Products on Sales” has shrinked and occupy half the width.

For the individualProduct page ( after click on a product on the shopping page), the related product used to occupied the whole width, now it’s ocuupying half the width.

YOU ARE AWESOME!

Ok now we have got this far. Are we able to do something to the padding within ?
The field inside arrange themselves to be like this

<Product title>
<Padding 1>
<Rating>
<Padding 2>
<Regular price>
<Padding 3>

I do not know if padding 1, 2 and 3 all existed in the first place. But I hope to be able to reduce <padding 2> and <Padding 3>

Hi

I have a problem with the review product settings. Reviews are activated from woocommerce and product pages.

In virtue product setting I activated the 01 for reviews. But it doesn’t works.

Nevertheless, if I activated 01 for reviews and 02 for description, then I can see both in product page.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or I’m doing something wrong (for sure)

In order to get the hero video I want on desktop to also work on mobiles I had to create two separate sliders. This works fine until I activate w3 cache. With it activated it only will call up the desktop slide. Sometimes it is the opposite and the mobile slider works on mobile but then it puts the mobile slider on the desktop which looks bad.

All minification is currently disabled until I can work out how to keep both sliders working as they should. Would you know which setting is likely to mess with which slide gets called up on mobile/desktop?

Update: it was the page cache option. is there a way I can turn this back on but not cache the slider?

Ok, go to theme options > theme extensions.

Enable the header and footer scripts and click save.

reload that page.

In the options menu area click on the header and footer scripts (will appear after refresh).

Add this into the top area (header area) of the header and footer scripts:

I did a theme and woocommerce update and received this message:

Your theme (Virtue – Premium Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

Any thoughts? Do you need my site info?

Hey,
Can you tell me would you prefer that the right side of the page title area not exists? Like do you know want the sorting options? Or are you wanting it below your filter?

How are you expecting this to look on mobile?

Hi Hannah,

under product page ( Home Page > Tap Shop > Tap individual product)

this is what I observe.

1) Just by changing the font family the following field only have their font family or style change,
a) Product title (This is the only field that has its font size and color change with H1 settings.
b) Regular price field (only font family or style follow H1 settings)
c) Price field after product variation selected (only font family or style follow H1 settings)
d) “In Stock” (only font family or style follow H1 settings)
e) Text in the “ADD TO CART” button (only font family or style follow H1 settings)

Judging by the console errors that are showing up on your page, it seems that your problem has to be with your domain. I found this thread which explains it well.

Check in Settings> General to make sure the URLs for “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” match up. If that doesn’t solve your problem, it appears that this is something you’ll have to contact your host to fix.

Check those settings first and let me know what you find.

Hello! I just tested the shortcode on my test site and it seems to be working fine there. One place that I would check if you haven’t already would be your “Post Summary” setting under “Standard Post Options” in the post edit screen.

You’ll want it to be set to an image so your featured image will show up in the post on your home page.
