when you first load the page the parallax background is set in one position, then as soon as you start to move the mouse to scroll down the parallax image jumps to a different place..

i have 3 rows using pagebuilder with 3 parallax sections on the page and it happens with all three of them, any advise would be gratefully recieved

You would have to use css for that.

can you post to the page where you want to hide a menu.

I worked that out, thanks. Great solution. How can I hide one or the other of the menus on the appropriate pages? I appreciate your help!!

    Hi Ben,

You’re right—it was photon causing my images to load up incorrectly. I had just turned that on for the first time but didn’t think of it later when I saw the images on that page not display properly. Thanks for catching that!

From Google’s Page Insights here is the problem:

    Size content to viewport

The page content is too wide for the viewport, forcing the user to scroll horizontally. Size the page content to the viewport to provide a better user experience.
The page content is 450 CSS pixels wide, but the viewport is only 375 CSS pixels wide. The following elements fall outside the viewport:

The element DECORATIVE PAINTER falls outside the viewport.

If you create a page call it home, then in your settings > reading make that the home page.

I’d like to edit the home page content, but somehow, I seem to have deleted the home page from the pages… and I don’t know how to bring it back…

The home widget area is differnet and one of the ways would be through the string translation but I don’t recommend it because of the exact issue you were having wpml just isn’t the best with that so the easiest to me would be that you use the home page content instead of the widget area. Then you can translate right in the page.

Else you would need to use widget logic and show a widget based on language, see here: https://wpml.org/2011/03/howto-display-different-widgets-per-language/

In terms of the icons you can do that in your string translation settings of wpml. Each icon area would have each part available for translation.

    Thank you so much!
Another thing about Home Widget Area, up to now, I haven’t been able to figure out how to translate my Homepage content(Home Widget Area and Menu Icons). Is there a way to do so?

Ok, it’s because of your string translations in wpml. It’s pulling that widget into the string translations page and thus wherever you edit that particular widget it’s affecting the rest the have the id of 2.

I went into the string transitions and removed that string, should be better now.

now barely all plugins (exept basic) switched off.
now all pages and products loads (but not all functions work cause not all plugins on)

and we will switch them on and update one by one and control site work.

my host found many memory low errors.
but don’t know which plugin cause this.
they think, some plugin or update made with php errors.

The image flip won’t work unless you are using the theme sizing for catalog pages (which you have off).

I have a visual editor (only some text) in Home Widget Area which is placed on my Homepage using Homepage Layout Manager.
But when I edit other pages, that content appear on the Homepage where the content of Home Widget Area is supposed to be.
I have to go to Appearance>Widgets and re-save the Home Widget Area and the content of the Visual Editor comes back on my Homepage.
For example, when I edit product description on product page, suddenly my homepage shows that product description instead of the Home Widget Area content.
How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks!
