    Hi Frank,
    Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    .col-md-12.col-sm-12.footercol1 {
        margin-bottom: 40px;
    }

    Hope it helps!

    how to remove the footer on ascend on some pages?

    #254104

    Hi,

    OK, we’ll stick with that but could I make it a feature request for a future update?

    Just a tick box to write the URL into the footer of the email.

    Many thanks

    I’m using a 4 column layout with column 1 being full width with the other 3 columns below it.
    How can I increase the bottom margin of column 1 to help separate it’s content a little from the info in the rest of the footer area(s)?

    I have two issues. When using Elementor Pro (Header / Footer), Site Logo is not recognized, and the sub-menu arrow shows as square.

    Hello – (Hannah, apologies for asking this direct by reply to previous ticket) but can you modify the code that Astra provides to stop the footer riding up when page content is little?

    See their code here:

    Cheers!

    the one limitation to the button block is that it doesn’t set the button corresponding to the current page/item to a current class, meaning I cannot alter the colour of the button on the current page to indicate the user is on that page

    eg buttons 1-18
    and i’m on the 15 page, I’d want to change the colour of that button

    it might be useful if the option to display dynamic links to portfolio items rather then previous/next in the portfolio footer were offered in the theme (just a suggestion)

    Hey Ben, here is the example:

    66d4b758fe0cc06a26b445d113932c90

    Using LifterLMS course layout settings, boxed, featured image behind, vertical padding off.
    As you can see the top featured image looks great and there is no padding, but it also removes the gap between the content box and the footer, which I’d like to keep.

    I can do that with CSS of course, but having these settings in vertical padding would be cool. attaching example how blocksy does it:

    Hey,
    There isn’t an option for a collapsible footer menu widget. It’s possible you can find a plugin for this. I’m not aware of any at the moment though.

    You can use a shortcode like this:
    [kt_contact_form label_name="Name:" label_email="Email:" label_subject="Subject:" label_message="Message:" label_submit="Send Message" email_to="Email to:" message_success="Thank you! Your message was sent successfully."]
    Just paste that into a text widget in your footer.
    Hope it helps!

    #253577

    Apologies, Grace! The shortcode doesn’t support categories. If you’re wanting to add a testimonial carousel limited to a specific category you could use the Virtue: Testimonial Carousel widget. But you would either need to paste this into a widget area (ie sidebar, footer, etc.) or use a page builder plugin that allows you to add widgets to your page.
    Sorry! Let me know how I can help further.

    Hi! My main menu, one of the options has a dropdown list when it is clicked, and this works great for the navigation bar up above. But when I put the same menu as a widget into one of the columns in my footer area (not the very bottom footer area menu line), it shows all the options in the same vertical line as the other menu items and takes up too much vertical space. Is there anyway to have a + sign or something where when it is clicked the other options show, but if not they don’t show or take up space? Thanks!

    Hi

    I am having some issues with kt-icon.woff2 which I wondered if you could help with.

    1. When I look at google page speeds, I see a suggestion to Preload key requests for …fonts/kt-icon.woff2?62sx4n. I have tried to implement this by adding the following to Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts > Header Output:

    <link rel="preload" href="/wp-content/themes/ascend_premium/assets/css/fonts/kt-icon.woff2" as="font" type="font/woff2" crossorigin>

    I have tried with and without the query string for the font file and also tried crossorigin param in this format and crossorigin=”anonymous”.

    It appears successful in as much that I can see it preloading in the source code but Google still suggests I preload this key request – sometimes adding as much as 2.5 seconds delay AND at the same time warns me “The resource was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.”

    Attached image is the Preload suggestion when preloading header is active.

    So it seems to be preloading but I don’t know why it’s not being used. Can you shed any light on this?

    2. I then searched the forums to see if this had come up before and saw that it was to do with icons. So I switched to minimal icons per the advice in one post (Theme Options > Misc Settings > Icons) to stop the file being used, purged caches and checked again, but the file is still being loaded and still suggests preloading.

    3. Finally, I also get a warning about this in page speeds:

    Ensure text remains visible during webfont load
    Warnings: Lighthouse was unable to automatically check the font-display value for the following URL:

    Can you suggest how I can stop this file loading altogether or ensure that it does preload successfully?

    Thanks
    Dom

    Looks like you are setting your post footer margins to -40px. That is causing the read more to be unblockable. Try adjusting that in the block settings. Let me know if the issue remains.

    Hi Kevin,
    Unforutnealy, there isn’t yet an option to add blocks to the Footer area. You would need to use a form widget or shortcode.

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hey,
    In your theme options > footer turn off the “Use Sitewide Footer Call to Action”

    Or if you want to use it just add the information so that you are setting it up how you want.

    Hi,

    how to remove the orange sitewide button above the footer:

    Best regards

    #253493

    Hi, on my laptop everything is displaying fine now, after clearing my cache and browsing history. On my android phone, however, all of the footer buttons have a turquoise border with white text. Do you have that, too? I’ve cleared my Chrome cache on my phone, but that hasn’t sorted out the issue.

    Thanks again, Tanya

    #253468

    Hi Ben & Hannah,

    Is there a way to add Kadence Form Newsletter to the footer widget?

    Thanks! 🙂
