Hey Anita,
1. There’s an option in theme options to change the background hover color, but not the text hover. You can do so with this css:.sf-menu ul a:hover { color: #333 !important; }2.
#containerfooter a.email:hover { color: #333; } .footernav ul li a:hover { color: #333; }Hope that’s helpful!
Enjoy your weekend!Hannah

May 14, 2020 at 12:42 am #2493911. I’m not sure I follow, however try this css and let me know:
.footernav ul { padding: 0; float: none; text-align: center; } .footernav ul li { float: none; display: inline-block; }2. You can use css like this:
.footercol1 .tagcloud a { color:green; }3. It appears in your theme options > basic styling you’ve set the footer color to an off-weight, might want to change that.
.footercol4 .widget_kadence_contact .vcard p { color: green; } .footercol4 .widget_kadence_contact .vcard a { color: gray; }4. There is a max width applied. You can overide with css like this:
#containerfooter .menu li a { max-width: none; }5. You can use css like this:
.footercredits p { padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; }6. It appears you’ve edited/broken your permalink settings in your admin settings > permalinks. Please make sure categories have a static slug and save the permalinks.

May 13, 2020 at 10:40 am #249351Hej Ben,
Thanks for the pointers! Gotta look closer for those cogs! 🙂
I found Max megamenu more intuitive to configure than Quadmenu. It will do for now but it will be great with a mega menu in the theme.
It would be great if you could increase it to 6 columns in the footer.
Thanks,
Ben

GlynMay 11, 2020 at 6:47 pm #249228Hi
New user here so please be kind 🙂
I have installed Kadence Blocks Pro and am using the Post Grid/Carousel block to create featured product tiles.
All going well apart from the fact that excerpt lengths of text vary therefore the “Read More” button links I have created do not align vertically.
I was looking to use CSS to select the element and align to the bottom of the parent div – the element is .kt-blocks-post-readmore-wrap but I am not having much luck.
Demo page is here;-
Any ideas anyone can offer would be much appreciated.
BTW love this product already and very excited about where it could go to!
Perhaps a product idea is a separate config section for a button under the footer meta section that aligns with the bottom of the grid section as I cannot imagine I am going to be the only person who wants consistent alignment of the buttons.
thanks

May 11, 2020 at 3:22 pm #249212Would Quadmenu or Max megamenu be compatible?
Yes, you could use those.
In the customizer go to general > typography. The option at the top will control your paragraph fonts.
General > Colors set the link colors and style there. In your footer hover over the row. for example top, middle, and bottom. You will see a label with a cog next to it, click on the cog and that will bring up the footer row options which has typography and color options.

May 11, 2020 at 1:24 am #249149Hey Ben,
If I need to have a menu with columns in Kadence Theme, which would be compatible? Quadmenu, Max megamenu or another one?
I’m still looking for font settings for site content (paragraph text) and also for the footer widgets.
In Astra you have Text color like this:

Sorry if I’m being blind! 🙂

Thank you Ben!
1. The credits text floating right also seems to be affecting the footernav menu right above it: http://www.develop.georgianchant.org. I want the nav elements centered, the c2020 John Graham credit text on the right. Or anyway I want to be able to control their position. I tried all variations of the float css in all places, but I couldn’t achieve what I wanted.
2. I would like to be able to control the css for the text in the tags cloud in footer #1.
3. I would like to be able to control the css for the text in the Vcard in footer #4.
4. In footer #2 (Categories), I don’t understand why the text is wrapping. Why don’t the titles continue on the same line to the extent that they fit within the Footer #2 container? For example, the text “Gelati monastery style”.
5. The padding around the credits container doesn’t seem to be working. Could you show me how to control the spacing above/below?
6. This isn’t Footer formatting specific, but I have a general question about Categories. When I click on a highlighted category name such as “Gelati monastery style”, I expect it to take me to a page where all posts related to that category will be displayed in some format. Instead, I am getting an error page with the following text: “Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist. It looks like this was the result of either: a mistyped address, an out-of-date link.” I’m trying to build this site around categorizing lots of information that I plan to write in, so solving this issue is critical to the basic infrastructure of the site that I am trying to build.
Thanks so much, slowly things are improving on this site. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
John

May 8, 2020 at 11:06 pm #2491161. Just to clarify, you are wanting to edit “Categories” and “Primary Nav”.
You are adding a border color for hover on a element that has no border, that is why it’s not working, if you add:
#containerfooter .menu li a { border:1px solid transparent }Then the border color would have an effect on hover.
I see the hover color working, you have it set in your css to be the same color as the non-hover color.
If you have something specific you want me to help with I can send you custom css.
2. I’m not sure how adding a menu widget relates to SiteOrigin page builder in the footer. Because those two are so so different I’m worried there might be some misunderstanding.
However, as Hannah said you can use SiteOrigin page builder in your footer by going to appearance > widgets and adding a widget called “Layout Builder” into one of your Footer widget areas. Once you add that widget into one of those footer widget areas you can edit that widget and it will give you access to the Siteorigin page builder. Does that make sense?
