Please let me know how to change the Footer Font Size Change and Font Type?

It could be nice to have settings in MENU SETTINGS to change the top bar and the footer font size and color, etc. Just like the Primary and Secondary Menu.

    Thanks for amazing theme.

OK, it’s definately the header and footer scripts extension in Virtue premium.
Had the same issues on another site.

    Hi

The same thing happened again on the same site. When I turn on Theme Extensions > header and footer scripts module (and add the Google Analytics Global Site Tag (gtag.js) the site goes into grey screen mode.
I also now have a “double” secondary horizontal menu (one above the other), one has lost it’s styling.

Checked the error logs in my hosting – says “no error logs for today”

switched themes, deactivated all plugins, emptied cache -all good. Just when I turn on the header/footer scripts and insert GA code things go wierd.

Any idea how to at least get rid of the double menu?

    Good Morning,

Need some help tweaking slider location. I have tried everything I know to resolve, and in fact, might have made it worse. <cheesy grin>

    Header has logo.
Want to place Kadence Pro slide beneath the logo.
Tried using SiteOrigin Pagebuilder to create the look I want, but now I am unable to delete that widget image.

I want to see to these components from top to bottom in this order:

    Topbar Navigation
    Logo
    Kadence Pro Slider
    Latest Posts
    Footer

    Thank you,
    Pam

    Hi Hannah,

thanks – regardless of the fact that I now have the header script in the “header and footer output” of the theme, it still interferes with the YT videos on blog post.
The moment I delete the script, the YT videos re-appear.
    Can you please advise?

    Thanks!
    Cecilia

    Hey,
In your settings > insert headers and footers, you are adding the zoho code in the header option for that plugin.

Have you tried contacting mail chimp regarding the comments?
After you have enabled Header and Footer Scripts, save and refresh the page. Then you should see it in your Theme Options list. Let me know if this is not the case for you.

    Hey,
You don’t want to edit the theme files without using a child theme as the changes will not be saved with updates. You can actually add the code into your Footer Output from Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts. If you don’t see that option you may need to select it from Theme Options > Theme Extensions.
    Hope that helps!

    Hey Pete,
There’s a header output in Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts. If you don’t see this option you may need to enable it from Theme Options > Theme Extensions.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Hannah,

Yes, I am using Sucuri and WordPress Security as security plugins.
Also, I just activated the header/footer output function on the website but I cannot find where to enter the header script – can you please advice?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Right now, the sidebar is over footer area if the sidebar is longer than main contents.

I’d like to add scroll bar to the sidebar when the sidebar is longer than main contents or extend the main contents area.
Would you please tell me how to do it?

    Thank you,
    Kazumi

The theme actually has a header and footer script output in Theme Options. If you don’t see this you may need to activate it from Theme Options > Theme Extensions.
Are you using a security plugin? Something like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/

    Hi
I have just noticed a security issue when running Google audits, and it relates to the Pinterest link created via the Ascend Social Links widget. The resulting URL is target=”_blank” but doers not include rel=”noopener”. The others that I use (Facebook, Insta and Twitter) all include this as expected. This is the relevant source, where you can see that Pinterest doesn’t include it:

    <div class="kadence_social_widget clearfix"><a href=" class="facebook_link" rel="noopener" target="_blank" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-original-title="Facebook" aria-label="Facebook"><i class="kt-icon-facebook"></i></a><a href=" class="twitter_link" rel="noopener" target="_blank" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-original-title="Twitter" aria-label="Twitter"><i class="kt-icon-twitter"></i></a><a href=" class="instagram_link" rel="noopener" target="_blank" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-original-title="Instagram" aria-label="Instagram"><i class="kt-icon-instagram"></i></a><a href=" class="pinterest_link" target="_blank" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-original-title="Pinterest"><i class="kt-icon-pinterest"></i></a></div>

    This appears in my footer:

I don’t believe there is anything I can do as the widget just accepts the URL. Is it possible for you to change this behaviour?

    Thanks
    Dom

    Dear Hannah,

Thanks for your help. I identified the Header and Footer plugin as the one creating the conflict. I deactivated it and installed another plugin to do the same thing (=run a header script). Still the same problem.
It looks like the header/footer plugin conflicts with the theme.

Also, self-generated comments have started appearing in the list of comments. I don’t know whether it is related. Please refer to the screenshot attached.

Please let me know what I should try next

Hey. Yes that bit was for the accordion titles. It wasn’t affecting the accordion text or the Footers until now, when I changed the text in the Flip Boxes.

Any idea why adding <b> to a single line of text in a single Flip Box would affect anything other than that text? <i> has the same effect; if I add it to just one Flip Box, the changes the text in all the Flip Boxes, plus the text in the accordion (but only on that page) plus the Footer text (but again only on that page).

    Hi,

Is there a way to reorder the Pinnacle social icons in both the footer social icon widget and staff icon area please? The topbar social icons are great as they are in the theme options but I couldn’t find an option for the others.

Specifically on this site the client has requested:
    – order the footer social icons the same as the topbar
    – reverse the icons on the staff pages (linkedin first, email second – applies to staff grid and individual staff pages)

    Cheers in advance 🙂

    Hey,

If i add <b> to the text in the “Back Side Description” or “Button Text” in the “Virtue: Icon Flip Box” widget, it not only correctly applies the bold text to that specific piece of text – it also wrongly applies the bold text to the Accordion and Footers text on that page.

It doesn’t change any other Accordions or the Footers on any other pages. It also doesn’t affect text in the SiteOrigin Editor on that page.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I just want bold text in my Flip Boxes 🙂

    Thanks.

I believe you can fix this with some javascript. Try adding the following into your footer output in Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts:

    jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
    $('.theachorlinkclass').localScroll({offset: -50});
    });

Let me know how that works!

    Hey,
In Theme Options > Theme Extensions you can set “Header and Footer Script output” to “On”.
    Hope that helps!
