In reply to: Language in brackets
Hi Asmus,
There is a da_DK.po and .mo file in the languages folder of the theme. Are you using that? If you want to change anything you can do so with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Let me know if you need further guidance!Best,
HannahIn forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Language in brackets
Hi there,
I am testing out translating some pages with the wpml plugin. It seems that a lot of places in the dashboard the language translated comes up in square brackets [Danish]
Most annoying is it coming up in prices on products like here:
I have searched a lot in the string translations, but can’t find anything, hence, turning towards you to see if it might be a theme thing?
Cheers,
AsmusIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: problem of home page as landing template attributes.

I come back to you about my problem.the home page https://mauriziomontobbio.com/ take no more in count the ccs code in Option theme advanced css … : The goal was to not display the menu and footer in that page . the page is a landing page template. Maybe a conflict with last verio n of WP? strange? the code following is actually i n the option theme; I have tried to redo a page based on the template Landing page. Until I décided to choose it as home page, no menu and footer, but once I affect it as home page the menu appeared.
/* FOR HOME PAGE 3 buttonslanguage choice No menu and no footer . The following code suppress the display of menu and footer only on mainhome landing template page */

In forum: Ascend ThemeMay 18, 2020 at 11:26 am #249723Hey,
Just to help with all these questions, about anything you receive from a “Ryte” report isn’t going to have to do with the theme. It would be better for you to think about this in terms of SEO and whatever SEO plugin you are using.The language settings for your site are set by WordPress (settings > general) and your SEO plugin can/does manipulate and control how those are output for search engines.

In forum: Ascend ThemeMay 17, 2020 at 6:11 am #249610Hey Hannah/Ben
I received the following on my Ryte report – language setting is too specific?
The language settings of this page are too specific. The page targets only one specific market, and at the same time, other markets with the same language are not linked. This might be a mistake.
You may lose the ability to rank in other markets with this language. We recommend checking your settings and/or the linked translations of this page.

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Elementor templates
Hi,
I am testing how the elementor pro templates work with the woo-commerce.
I created a template that I assign to the clothes categories only, here: *Login to see link
The only problem is that the quick filter is not working with elementor templates.In case you wonder why I am not using woo templates option: I tried, but the translation is not working.
I assigned the English woo templates to the main shop: *Login to see link
Impossible to assign French woo template to the french main shop.
See attached my problem with the translation. ( I created a template with woo templates and made a french transaction, the only problem is how to assign the french version in woo-commerce template builder for each language)Please let me know what is easier to fix and I will go with what works best.
Thank you,

Sorry, I’ll try to explain a little better. Are you using a multilingual plugin? After adding the shortcode for your default language slider into Theme Options > Home Slider you would next go to the string translations in your multilingual plugin settings and “translate” that shortcode for your other language using the second slider shortcode. Does that make sense?

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: JE NE VEUX QUE DES PRODUITS SUR MA D’ACCUEIL
You have several options when it comes to adding products to your homepage. One is to set your homepage as your shop page from Settings > Reading. Then just make sure that Page Content is enabled in the homepage layout manager in theme options. Another option is to enable and configure the Product Carousel Tabs from Theme Options > Home Page Layout. Or, lastly, you can add your products anywhere on your site via shortcode like this:
[products limit="4" columns="2"]As for translating your theme options, you can set your site language from Settings > General. Is that what you mean?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi Ben,
I translated the basic Kadence Block on wordpress then I went to my site and downloaded the Kadence Blocks Pro Languages folder as usual but when I opened the Italian version with poedit and refreshed with the pot file included it gives me 6 errors to be set in the definitions.
Please, can you check it because it appears they are duplicated or bad set.I already have the latest update Version 1.4.5 installed of the Pro version.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon so I can go on with the translation.
Thanks

May 4, 2020 at 6:45 am #248634Hey,
Thanks for posting.
1. Hmm I’ll look into this, not sure why you are not getting that working. Are you using locotranslate?
2. This is actually a thing in the Ascend theme. You can translate it in your theme options > language settings.
3. I see the conflict, I’ll consider moving not available to below if tooltip is engaged.
4. I’ll add some css to change their opacity. It breaks things in certain situations if you make it so they can’t be clicked so it has to be enabled still for all extra plugins to function right with woocommerce and for multilevel variations (more then two option sets) to work right. It should clear the selected options if something is selected that won’t’ work.

In forum: Virtue ThemeApril 27, 2020 at 4:41 pm #248318Hello,
I have a few small issues with my mobile layout, in the header space. The desktop layout and colours are fine, so I do not want it to change.
I have some custom .css that I don’t want to remove completely since the layout of language widget and other items such as contact us are designed and spaced fine as they are:
/* TOPBAR */
.headerclass {
}
.topbarmenu ul li a {
padding: 10px 30px;
font-size: 14px;
}
.topbarmenu ul li a {
font-size: 18px;
font-family: lato;
font-weight: 600;
}.topbarmenu ul li a {
color: yellow;
}#topbar ul.sf-menu > li > a:hover {
color: #ffcc66;
}.col-md-6.col-sm-6.kad-topbar-left {
width: 25%;
}
.col-md-6.col-sm-6.kad-topbar-right {
width: 75%;
}The issues are:
1) My Site Tagline – Below Logo is too close to my logo and it takes more than one line but I don’t want too much space between the tagline’s 2 lines. Unless the only choice is to reduce my tagline font size.
2) I would to change my secondary menu background colour(I don’t use the primary menu), can’t remember where this setting is exactly?
3) Here is a previous topic that resolved my logo being to small-see last posts; I followed this specific advice and the logo is wide enough but I would like it to be a bit higher around 5px if that makes sense.
headerclass {
padding: 25px;
}I also see that you are using the theme options to add margin left and margin right to the logo.. Remove that because it’s forcing the image smaller the mobile since it has a margin of 80px on each size.
