May 13, 2019 at 9:00 am #225515ok, I understand better, Can you send me a login.
It sounds like the meta data isn’t copying over. The gallery is not part of the content, if you want it part of the content then you would need to add it there when you create the post and not add it through the meta settings.
If you are forcing images to have a language then it’s also possible that the meta is coying but you would still need to select images because wpml can’t find the correct images for the next language while it’s being copied.

Hey Hannah, Ben,
this site uses the Gallery Post Format, so no shortcodes or gallery blocks.
Step 1: Make original Post in DE using Gallery Post Format.
Step 2: insert gallery under “Gallery Post Option”
Step 2: Make a Translation for the Post in EN (WPML is set to first copy everything from DE)
Step 3: Everything from the DE post is now also in EN, except this Gallery
Step 4: Only solution is to make the gallery in EN from scratch… and this is what i get complains for.WPML should be able to “see” and copy all content from the original post when you start the translation for the first time and it does so with all content, images, futured image, galleries, blocks, etc. ALL except this gallery.
Furthermore, when using the WPML translation editor, where one can see the content in both languages side by side, the gallery is missing from both languages, aka WPML does not see it’s there, not even in the original language.I was guessing, WPML needs some additional setting to make this kind of gallery translatable, or maybe the Theme needs some changes?
Thank you

May 10, 2019 at 7:08 pm #225370I believe you would make a gallery for each language. Then when adding to the page you would change the shortcode in each.
That should allow you to have captions in each language.

In forum: Virtue ThemeApril 3, 2019 at 10:00 am #221961Hey,
Odd, When I was on the site it was not deactivated?Either way that error means that one of your plugins is not interacting with the new block editor. This only happens on posts where you have the classic block added with content including shortcodes added.
Since all your content is not using the block editor I suggest installing the classic editor plugin so you can access content in the classic editor. Plus you are using qTranslate-X which is not designed or set up to use the block editor.
You could go through one by one till you find the plugin that is breaking things in the block editor. But I’m concerned it might be your language plugin at this point since it’s so outdated, hasn’t been updated in 3 years!
If you do a test where you create a new post you can edit the images just fine in the classic editor or in the block editor where you don’t have all the qTranslate-X stuff in the classic editor block.

Hi Hannah!
Thanks for your tips.
But that’s not exactly what I’m looking for.
I want the customer to be able to choose and click on a small flag (example) in top banner and choose to translate the page into English
just for a while they do shopping in my shop.Basically, I want the language on my page to be Norwegian, as it is today.
Do you think you have a plugin for this feature?
Thank you!

Hi!
The int(1) didn’t “come back”. The page is now ok.
However the “ship to a different address? Didn’t display translated, even when I did the translation with Loco translate. Other parts are now translated on the frontend. Just this text stayed in the original language. (not a cache problem, I tested it).In forum: Ascend ThemeMarch 28, 2019 at 3:09 am #221301Hello again,
Having a temporary fix, for this, which I adjusted the padding and moved this language switcher menu item. But would like to have a more permanent solution.
Thanks.
In forum: Virtue ThemeDear Kadence,
I have a line in my Bottom Carousel in the Portfolio pages which I cannot seem to change. The title is ‘Recent Projects’ and is translated in Dutch (polylang) with ‘Recete Projecten’ (missing a letter n as well!) but I cannot seem to find where to change this title anywhere, both languages.
The source is: <h3 class=”title”>Recete Projecten</h3>
Can you help me?In forum: Membership ForumsHi!
We installed kadence elementor pro plugin today and used it for checkout page.
However, there are parts where the titles stay in English language (ship to a different address & additional information). Our wordpres&woocommerce use different default language and I checked in Woocommerce translation file, the translation for this part exists. Why is this plugin not taking the translations for these two parts? The second issue is with width of the page. As you can see when you visit the site, 2 columns are displayed very narrow. I have used in elementor width 1230 px.
The checkout page is: *Login to see link
Third issue: After I updated to latest version of your plugin, this int(1) started to display on top of the page!!

Installed Ascend Premium, WPLM, and would like to add WPML Language Switcher after the header extras.
Currently, this language switcher is between the hearder menu and extra, but would like to move it to after the header extras.
Tried to add this language switcher to the “widget area”, but no affect.
Please help. Thanks.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I suggest creating a different slider for each language. Then, use the shortcode option for adding the slider. In your translations, configure a translation for your initial slider shortcode to be the shortcode for a different language slider. Does that make sense?
