    Dear Ben,

    I have several different WordPress Installations on the praxis1080.at Server, so the scripts actually belonged to another installation, but thanks for looking! I don’t know why, the forwarding went into circles, after deleting the htaccess files and setting them to default it finally worked.
    So magdalenastampfer.pl points to the Polish version, magdalenastampfer.at to the German one.

    I still have 2 small problems:
    1) The icons now don’t load anymore in any of the languages and I don’t know why (like the search icon, the facebook icon etc.)
    2) The portfolio grid puts all languages into one, so that when you are at http://www.magdalenastampfer.at/portfolio/kinesiologie/ and you click the (missing) left or right icon to get to the next portfolio item, you get the translated, polish versions also.

    Do you have any suggestions for me?

    Thank you!
    Magdalena

    Hello Kevin,

    Finally, I resolved it with your help and inputs. Thanks a lot.
    The main problem was that I kept the option enabled that says, “Show widget in topbar” under Topbar Settings. I had nothing in the Topbar Widget area but it was stopping the search bar language settings.

    I really appreciate your help and time here. Have a great time.
    Cheers!

    Regards,
    Dave CJ

    Hello,

    Go to Theme Options> Language Settings, and set “Search Placeholder Text” to whatever you like.

    Let me know if that works for you.

    Hi Team,

    I try to change the ‘you may also like’ text. I went to Woocommerce Quick Language Settings see here

    But my text wont change?

    What could be wrong?

    #199281

    You can use this css:

    .product .woocommerce-tabs .woocommerce-Tabs-panel--description h2 {
        display: none;
    }

    Woocommerce adds that by default. the theme allows you to change the text in your theme options > language settings.

    .category .post-single-img-title {
    display: none;
    }

    This code works for main version,

    and for other language it’s still double headlines (for ex. here: http://risingblockchain.com/ru/glavnaja/). And in English version, the headline are only once on the image (http://joxi.ru/gmvzRePCL8dYXm)

    How to fix Russian version so that it will be like in English version?

    P.S. I don’t know what kind of plugin do this double headlines (

    Hi,

    I have a site http://www.cool-x.fi which has been set up for multiple languages. I am opening a webshop with woocommerce but only in Finland. So I would like the shop to be visible only in finnish language.

    The problem I have, is that there are no options to hide the cart from topbar in other languages than finnish. Is there a solution for this or another way to have a webshop for only one language?

    Thank you.

    Hey,
    In your theme options > home page header turn the “Transparent Header on Home page?” to off.

    I have already mentioned this in your previous post: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/customization-taxes/

    It’s really best if you can follow up with the questions you’ve already asked. Thanks!

    Is there any way to have different Kadence Slider to configure the text and language accordingly

    In your theme options > home page header set the header content to shortcode. Or none. Then either add the shortcodes for your different sliders directly into the page content. Or if you choose shortcode as the header content that is a translatable field and you can use string translation to change it per language.

    Topic: Header Broke

    #198823

    Hello,

    After I added the TOP BAR for my E-commerce navigation, the landing page HEADER is over the Kadence Slider background and text.

    URL:

    The part that says LUZ EN TU BELLEZA and REJUVENECIMIENTO FACIAL are behind the header.

    Also, I would like to run a multilingual site. Is there any way to have different Kadence Slider to configure the text and language accordingly, so that Spanish speaking visitors read “Luz en tu Belleza” & “Rejuvenecimiento Facial” while English speaking visitors read “Light in your Beauty” & “Facial Rejuvenation”

    Thank you!

    Thanks Kevin.
    This was not exactly what I intended – but it certainly did work to change the text colour in the language switcher box. I would have preferred to have changed the background colour of the box itself to white, and then use this CSS to finetune the text colour. I think this would make the language switcher that much more noticeable. I have updated the site, so you can see the effect of your CSS.
    Cheers

    Hello,

    You can set the topbar background color in Theme Options> Advanced Styling.

    To change the color of the language switcher text, try adding this CSS to Theme Options> Advanced Settings:

    .select2-container .select2-choice>.select2-chosen {
        color: white;
    }

    Let me know if that works for you.

    Hello,

    See this post:
    https://kb.kadencethemes.com/knowledge-base/use-different-sliders-for-multilingual-site/

    Just use a shortcode option for your home slider, and in the translations for your home page, translate the shortcode to the one that you want to work for the other language.

    Let me know if that makes sense.
