Hi,
I noticed that on our English startpage the image alt-attributes are the ones from the German image Post IDs.
We use polylang with media translation as described here: *Login to see link
That is, the file system image (*.jpg) stays the same but the metadata (title, caption, alt) get translated.
Not sure, but probably Virtue would need to check what the current language is (pll_current_language) and then get the right image postId or similar (pll_get_post). Using this as a wrapper, Instead of using the selected image ID on both German and English as it does right now (guessing so from what happens)
There might as well be other ways of course.

Hi,
i just enabled the testimonial checkbox for privacy and… just the checkbox is displayed without text. I now introduced my text in the Language field, but still nothing. Am i missing something in the shortcode?[kad_testimonial_form name_label="NAME" testimonial_label="IHRE BEWERTUNG" location_label="ORT" position_label="GGF UNTERNEHMEN" link_label="INTERNETPRÄSENZ" submit_label="ABSENDEN" success_message="VIELEN DANK ! In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: DSGVO | European Privacy Policy
Hi,
I’ve added new checkbox to the contact forms. I would like translate it in french and conserve link with my privacy policy.
When i’m on theme options > language settings and I write my sentence in french, the link to my privacy policy disappears.
I don’t know how integrate a link in this text box…
If i leave the text box empty, your english sentence appears with the linkk to my privacy policy so i think there is an issue when i want like translate it.
The moment we want to put a translation, we lose the link to our privacy policy. Thanks for your answer.

All translations are user submitted. I’ll add this string for you.But you can control this easily from the theme options > language settings.

In forum: Virtue ThemeDo you have a link to help us easily modify the WP Privacy Policy draft when we click “Create privacy policy” page related to GDPR process? I looked at your link (*Login to see link and thought you did a good job. Here is what I initially created with automatic wording included to start with. It is really wordy and would like it simpler. I realize the wording all depends on the site’s functions. But any input welcomed before I start this with all my sites. Thanks much.

May 19, 2018 at 10:42 pm #190618Hey,
It’s in the pot file you would just need to re-sync your po file.
You can also do this right from the theme options > language settings as well.
Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi, I’ve got a huge issue with my French-English website.
I’ve updated the latest version of the theme and plugins (I use Polylang, amongst others).
All my French pages (except the homepage) have been replaced by a filler page.
I first noticed this when I loaded a page in English and then tried to toggle to the same page in French – the page was not there.
The homepage seems to load okay in both languages, but there no longer seems to be any link between the pages within the French version or between English and French versions.
Please can you help me as it looks a mess at the moment.
Thank you, Tanya – hibiscusmassage.com

All you need to do is go to theme options > language settings. There you can change the text.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello Ben,
The previous code worked much better. With it, only the ipad landscape mode needed to be corrected.
By removing it and adding the new one, it works well for ipad- landscape and portrait mode; but on mobiles- in both modes, the language widget is a little to the right.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I noticed that ONLY IN IPAD LANDSCAPE MODE, my main navigation menu button doesn’t show up on the left hand top corner, below the language dropdown. Thus no navigation is available to the customer.
It shows up correctly in all other devices – landscape and portrait mode.
Could you help?
Thanking you in anticipation.
Kind Regards. -
