Topic: Sidebar plugin issue
Hello,
I’m using woosidebars plugin to create different sidebars.
This works well as long as I am using a single language.
Although I can translate the sidebars in WPML, they dont show up in the second language, and it goes to the default sidebar. If I set them in the second language ….they disappear from the first language …
Could this have something to do with the theme? I have asked a query in WPML too and am waiting for their response.
Also there seems to be a bug in the Woocommerce product search widget. Even if you remove the title from the widget, it tends to show up. Could this be linked to WPML sync or something …. I have noticed if I refresh the widget page at times, it again shows up in all my widgets, although I have manually removed all the Search Titles just a few minutes before.
Your help would be appreciated.

Hi Ben,
Actually I know the subdomain blog.example.XX, however even this doesn’t seem to work for my setting. In general what I need is this URL for each blog post: example.com/blog/post 1, example.com/blog/post2, etc.
Yes, I set German as language in the general settings.
Thanks

January 21, 2016 at 1:07 pm #77053Hey,
A subdomain is something that comes before a domain.. like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/“themes” is a subdomain of kadencethemes.com
I think you just want to change the permalink structure. You cant manually edit each permalink in your post and you can set a blog slug in your permalink settings using a custom permalink.
2. In your settings > general is german set as the language?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi Christian, I have about the same concerns as you have. And Ben is right about child theme and having to become responsible to update a template. And also right about security.
But I was able to solve adding more fields in the contact form for now.
Are you familiar with child theme? It is very easy to set up. Presently, my child theme for Pinnacle has only 3 files functions.php, style.css and template-contact.php. Also, I copied the Pinnacle screenshot.pnp so when I look for themes, my pinnacle child has an image. I also have a languages folder and i it, I placed the 2 files needed for French fr_FR.mo and fr_FR.po . Seems more complicated than it is. WordPress codex is great for help.
For adding text before the math question, I simply copied the template-contact.php file into my child theme and added the following line
<?php _e('Security Question:', 'pinnacle');?>just above the line<?php if(isset($form_math) && $form_math == 'yes') { ?>
and voilà, my customer see Security question just before the math question.
If you only use English, you do not need to update the languages files. If you do, let me know and I’ll tell you how I did it.
Hoping this can help you!In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Can't activate pinnacle premium child theme
Hi Paul,
Thanks a lot, this was very helpful. Although I haven’t customized any functions but only language, so I kept the functions.php empty. This ended up in loading the site but with some features missing.
Do you have any idea for that as well?
Thanks
SylviaIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Polylang
I noticed there’s now a way to translate the products (I installed the WooCommerce Polylang Integration plugin yesterday and had not noticed its effect yet). I also just noticed that the home page had both a Dutch and an English component to it, so I made a translation to Dutch of the homepage (now called ‘Thuis’ for illustration purposes)
I also put the polylang language switcher widget inside the home widget. This appears to be switching correctly from Dutch to English. Somehow the /en/ and /nl/ parts of the URL are no longer correct (or they show a search output like probably they should; This behavior has changed recently I think, as also Polylang recently had a new update) It looks to me like the only thing that’s still not 100% right now may be the few blog listings that should be on the home page according to the settings.
And oh, yeah, I also don’t see my menus right now. I think according to the Virtue settings they should be visible but not seeing them right now.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: WPML .mo file not found for Spanish
January 19, 2016 at 2:02 pm #76518Hey,
1. The mo and po files are in the languages folder inside the theme. And those wouldn’t have anything to do with the sliders. If you need to translate sliders then you would need to use the string translation option (thats a plugin part of the complete wpml).2. https://wpml.org/2011/03/howto-display-different-widgets-per-language/ – that should explain.

Thanks in advanceIn forum: Virtue ThemeJanuary 19, 2016 at 2:24 am #76392Hello, I use the Virtue Premium theme and bought & downloaded the WPML Multilingual CMS plug in. I do not have string translation option with it. Everything is translating fine, the posts and pages, EXCEPT:
1)the home page. I cannot get change slider images on the home page which I´d like to make into Spanish version. I looked in the Language Setting and it shows that the .mo file for the home page is not found. This is what shows:
Language Code Locale file name MO file in /var/www/vhost/eleteholistichydrate.com/home/html/wp-content/languages MO file in /var/www/vhost/eleteholistichydrate.com/home/html/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium
English en .mo
Spanish es .mo File not found! File not found!2) the Widget area does not show another language (Spanish) version, I have Footer image menus and the Sidebar..
I appreciate the help since I´m a newbie at this. In case it helps, the website is http://www.eleteholistichydrate.com
Thanks!!
SusanIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Polylang
Hi Guys,
I’m in the process of completely redoing my site and purchased your theme for it as I think it’s awesome. One thing though, I had a bilingual site using polylang. When I activate polylang, the home page will go either to the default language homepage *Login to see link or depending on settings to the English one *Login to see link
Unfortunately because of the redirect I guess somehow it doesn’t seem that either of those two URL’s are still recognized as the homepage and all I get is a (rather ugly looking) listing of my old blog posts.
Is there some sort of setting where I need to tell Virtue about this?
Thank you,
Fred LeeflangIn forum: Virtue ThemeSomehow my update for the virtue premium is not showing up now in the wordpress panel. I still have version 3.3.3 and I was waiting on getting some free time to update my site, because of the changes that I needed to make regarding language translations.

January 15, 2016 at 1:50 pm #75980You have to addd a check for the language like this :
add_action( 'kt_afterheader', 'kt_woocommerce_single_head_slider', 10 ); function kt_woocommerce_single_head_slider() { if (class_exists('woocommerce')) { if(is_product()) { if(ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE=='en') { echo do_shortcode('[cycloneslider id="1"]'); } else { echo do_shortcode('[cycloneslider id="1"]'); } } } }In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
Thanks to your great tool tip editing your standard pinnacle child theme, I was able to create an individual child theme. However when I click on Live Review, this error message appears.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pinnacle_shortcode_init() (previously declared in /homepages/27/d600689778/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/MyCMS4/wp-content/themes/pinnacle_premium-child/functions.php:90) in /homepages/27/d600689778/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/MyCMS4/wp-content/themes/pinnacle_premium/functions.php on line 91
I currently have these files under my child theme:
framework.php
functions.php
pinnacle.css
pinnacle_extension.php
screenshot.png
style.css
theme_options.php1) Do I need all these files – I only adapted style.css
2) Do I even need to activate that child theme although all my settings are all under the standard pinnacle_premium theme? E.g. I adapted de_DE.po and .mo (trying to solve another issue with language)Thanks

Hi Hannah,
in this post: https://lifewelove.com/en/intriguing-hyperboloid-on-the-top-of-jested/ the last gallery is mosaic. It has titles/labels which you can see when you mouse in on photo. When you click on it, it will be show with lightbox, but without label/title under the picture. When gallery type is not mosaic like in this link(the same post but in other language) https://lifewelove.com/pl/intrygujaca-hiperboloida-szczycie-gory-jested/
the same, last gallery not mosaic has titles/labels and when you click on it Litbox show titles under the pohoto.
Thanks,
SebastianIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Change text of "Your Cart"
Hello!
I have the premium version of your Virtue Theme and are in general very satisfied.
I have a slight problem though; I cannot manage to change the text of “Your Cart” in the top menu.
Theme options > topbar settings: I activated “Show Cart total in top bar?”
Then I went to: Theme options > Language Settings > Topbar Cart Total Text: And try to write “Varukorg” (Which is “Your Cart” in Swedish). Then I hit “save changes” but still it doesn’t change. What is wrong?
I tried to clear the cache of the web browser (Safari), but it didn’t help.I use woo commerce and wordpress latest versions. And updated your theme today as well.
