In reply to: displaying text on Woocommerce category pages
Hi there!
I’d be happy to help.
The category title and its description are added to each category by going to Dashboard > Products > Categories and editing each term – https://share.zight.com/YEubqLje.
This info should show if you enable the Page Title by default. Go to Theme Options > Page Title and turn on the “Show the page title by default” option.
I hope this helps, and let me know if I can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 8, 2024 at 10:33 am #290807Hi,
I have looked and looked and cant find a setting that will allow me to centre the post titles in the archive / blog page and also on the homepage. I have attached a screenshot to show which ones I mean.
Is this possible to do, or is it a limitation of the free theme?
Thanks
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 8, 2024 at 3:18 am #290788Dear Team,
The code is working correctly, and the sidebar is now at the top of the page and appears on the left side.
Thank you for your response and support in fixing my issues.

Ramesh.In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi there!
Apologies for missing your reply here. For future concerns, it would be great if you could open a new topic.
Could you give us a page URL to see which blocks are you using on a page? I’d like to replicate it on my website.
You can mark your reply as private so only the support team can see it.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Header for search page
Hi Dave,
You posted this in the right place. Thank you for your patience.
I understand you want to customize your search results pages by adding a header and text while ensuring the usual site header menu remains intact.
There is no built-in option to customize the search results pages with Virtue Premium, and I do not know of a specific third-party plugin that works with the theme to achieve this.
In the meantime, you can explore trying some of the options on how to customize the search results pages as instructed in these blog posts:
– https://www.codeable.io/blog/wordpress-custom-search-results-page/I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

I’m glad you reached out. I’d be happy to help.
This might be happening due to the Yoast SEO options tab on the page/post. Try closing the Yoast SEO tab and see if it resolves the issue for you.

I’m glad you reached out. I’d be happy to help.
I have tested the Post Grid carousel, but couldn’t replicate it. You can refer to the screencast for reference: https://share.zight.com/kpuv9YGw
Please check your block settings. Could you please provide me with the exact URL of the page, so I can take a closer look?
You can post using “set as private reply”.
For initial troubleshooting, please could you do the steps listed in this article https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website? This will help us rule out these usual causes of WordPress issues, so we can move on to investigating other possible causes of this issue on your website.

The code is working correctly and the sidebar is now at the top of the page. However, on mobile and tablet versions, the sidebar appears in the center. I need it to be on the left side at the top.
Please help me.

Hi there,
Thank you for the additional information.
I noticed you are not using Kadence Theme and the pages were not built using Kadence blocks.
To make your website mobile-friendly, I recommend editing your pages in mobile view and adjusting the mobile settings or styles of the blocks/elements as preferred.
I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

AnonymousAugust 6, 2024 at 9:31 am #290740Hi there,
We’d love to assist you on this.
However, we need a bit more information from you. Could you please send us a video or screenshots of the issue? Additionally, any descriptions or examples of the problems you’re seeing on the mobile version of the website would be very helpful.
You can use apps like https://zight.com/ to record your screen or capture screenshots and easily share the links with us.
I checked your website, but I’m not sure which part needs fixing. Could you provide a specific example page and indicate which section we should look at?
Let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind Regards,
Michael TaroIn forum: Kadence ThemeAnonymousAugust 6, 2024 at 9:18 am #290738Hi there,
We can assist you on that.
You can make a Portfolio in Kadence using Post Grid/Carousel or Portfolio Grid/Carousel Block.
First, your “Portfolios” be added as a Custom Post Type (CPT). It would be easier to create a template for their “single pages”.
We recommend using a 3rd party plugin for creating your CPTs. Here’s our guide about adding CPTs: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-add-a-custom-post-type/
Once you have set up your Portfolio CPT and the posts, you can show them on normal pages using our blocks.
– Post Grid/Carousel: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/kadence-blocks-post-grid-carousel-block/

Hi, John!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I checked your website and saw that you have the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. If I view it without any optimizations, the slider is working fine. Here’s a link – https://snlprint.com/?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm
To troubleshoot the issue, please try tweaking your Page Optimization settings. Here’s a post to guide you with some settings – https://chemicloud.com/kb/article/litespeed-cache-page-optimization-settings-in-wordpress/
Purge the LiteSpeed cache before testing your changes until you figure out which option is causing the issue.
I hope this helps, and let me know if I can help you further with this.

KarlaIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Blog grid shortcode based on post id
Hi, Nicolae.
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
To clarify – the Virtue Premium theme has built-in shortcodes. You can refer to this page for shortcode references – https://docs.kadencewp.com/virtue-premium/shortcodes/
Please try changing the code snippet that Eze gave previously and see if your shortcode’s output will be more accurate:
unction custom_blog_grid_shortcode($atts) { // Extract the attributes $atts = shortcode_atts(array( 'items' => 4, 'columns' => 2, 'post_id' => '' ), $atts, 'blog_grid'); // Convert the post IDs to an array $post_ids = explode(',', $atts['post_id']); // Query the posts $args = array( 'post_type' => 'post', 'post__in' => $post_ids, 'posts_per_page' => $atts['items'], 'orderby' => 'post__in' ); $query = new WP_Query($args); // Start output buffering ob_start(); if ($query->have_posts()) { echo '<div class="custom-blog-grid" style="display: grid; grid-template-columns: repeat(' . esc_attr($atts['columns']) . ', 1fr); gap: 20px;">'; while ($query->have_posts()) { $query->the_post(); echo '<div class="grid-item">'; if (has_post_thumbnail()) { echo '<div class="post-thumbnail">'; the_post_thumbnail('medium'); echo '</div>'; } echo '<h2 class="post-title"><a href="' . get_the_permalink() . '">' . get_the_title() . '</a></h2>'; echo '<div class="post-excerpt">' . get_the_excerpt() . '</div>'; echo '</div>'; } echo '</div>'; } // Reset post data wp_reset_postdata(); // Return the content return ob_get_clean(); } add_shortcode('blog_grid_custom', 'custom_blog_grid_shortcode');Use the new shortcode name on your page content (e.g. ‘[blog_grid_custom items=4 columns=2 post_id=”2930,3109,2936,3090″] ‘).
I hope this helps, and let me know if I can help you further.

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Flex on section for bento style with fill and fit
Hi there!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
We have bento layouts from the Kadence Design Library – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/the-kadence-design-library/
This should be available in your edit page screens once you have the Kadence Blocks plugin installed and active on your website. Search for these:
– Hero 68
– Hero 69
– Hero 70You can use some parts of these templates as references on how you would be able to achieve the bento-style layout.
The key for this layout is using the “Flex Grow” option – https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/section-block/#flex-grow
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

August 3, 2024 at 12:05 pm #290702Hi there, I manage blog sites that provide information and updates on an app named SEO Agency. The blog was created on a desktop computer using Kadence Pro. But when I visit the webpage on my phone, it looks confused. Please let me know how to improve these mistakes. You can reach the website at https://theglobaltranslators.com/.
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 3, 2024 at 5:34 am #290699I’m using the Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks Pro for my site, and I’m looking to enhance the design of the hero section on my homepage. Specifically, I want to create a dynamic effect, such as adding a video background, parallax scrolling, or animated text overlays. What’s the best approach to achieve this within the Kadence theme? Are there built-in features or recommended plugins that can help implement these design elements effectively?
