Hi Marc,
Thank you for reaching out.
Can you please share additional information on the HTML you added to your website? Is it a script? Did you add it to the custom HTML block? Where on your website did you add it?
You can also with us the HTML to debug but please Set as private reply.
In the meantime, if it is a script within a <head>, you can add it to the Page Script <head> as shown in this screencast:
https://share.zight.com/4gu8xwQLI hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

EzeIn forum: Virtue ThemeI have created this portfolio page https://nanotechnologysolutions.com.au/vibration-isolation-portfolio/
Then I created a new ‘Portfolio Work Type’ = ‘Vibration Isolation’ and selected it on the page.
Then I created a portfolio item here https://nanotechnologysolutions.com.au/portfolio/optical-tables/ and selected Portfolio Type as ‘Vibration Isolation’ in the right column. Now I can see this new item under that portfolio page as I wanted. However when I open this item page, ‘Similar Portfolio Item Carousel’ shows all portfolio items instead of just the ones tagged as ‘vibration isolation’ portfolio type.
Moreover, the grid icon on top right of the page, has a hyperlink to https://nanotechnologysolutions.com.au/portfolio/. How can I change it to https://nanotechnologysolutions.com.au/vibration-isolation-portfolio/ for this portfolio type?
Thank you for your help
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi there!
I’d be happy to help.
I checked your homepage in Google PageSpeed, but the DOM count is not an issue. Here’s the link to the report – https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-watsapk-com/310lgvk9u2?form_factor=desktop
A solution that I can see is to not lazy-load images that are on the top of the page. Could you try excluding the “
.wp-post-image” CSS class? Here’s the documentation link – https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/15-disable-lazy-load-on-specific-imagesRegards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi there!
I’d be happy to help you with this.
I checked your page, and I think what you can improve on primarily is your Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and Reduced Unused CSS – report link.
The main shift that the tool is seeing is this – https://share.zight.com/wbuxeb2D. It has a lot of difference from the actual look of your page – https://share.zight.com/6quoDY64
If you disable Rocket Loader, will it remove the big layout shifts?
For Reduced Unused CSS, you can use WP Rocket’s option. It’s also in Google’s suggestion: https://share.zight.com/GGuB0pOd
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

May 7, 2024 at 1:41 pm #288613Hi There,
For the author link, when the user has a website set in their profile, the author link would use this URL. To change this to link the viewers to the author’s archive instead, you can remove the Website information from the user’s profile so that it will redirect to the author’s archive instead.
To resolve this issue and redirect users to the author’s archive page instead, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Users > All Users.
- Edit the user’s profile.
- Find the website field and remove any URL present.
- Leave the field blank.
- Save the changes.
- Test the author archives to confirm the redirection now functions correctly
Check the screen recording for reference: https://share.zight.com/d5u2KENP
If the issue persists, kindly go to Rank Math SEO > Titles & Meta > Authors > Author Archives and make sure the author archives option is enabled.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

In forum: Kadence BlocksMay 6, 2024 at 7:43 am #288606Hey All
I’m creating a page that has multiple advanced query blocks on the same page. I have pretty decent hosting but I’m noticing when I’ve been editing those pages I get a massive CPU and ram spike. I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this or has any suggestions on how to minimize the effect. In forum: Kadence ThemeMay 5, 2024 at 1:11 pm #288601Hello, today I’m using the Strands Nyt (*Login to see link to rank math using the Kadence theme. Hi there,
Thank you for granting us access to the testing page.
I noticed the container and post grid were added using Spectra Blocks and not Kadence Blocks. An update on Kadence Blocks will not affect Spectra Blocks.
However, when I removed the margin-left of the root container, the text was now aligned to the center as expected. Here is a screenshot for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/X6uvBo9NTo troubleshoot this, please remove the margin-left of the root container. You can reach out to Spectra Blocks support to further help you with this.
I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

In forum: Kadence ThemeHi, @madihayaqoob015!
Opening a new forum topic should let us see your question easier. Please submit a new topic next time.
On the other hand, I viewed the page you gave and I saw the images and videos are lazy-loaded. This is a typical optimization being done so the page loads faster.
However, they didn’t take too much time for me – https://share.zight.com/p9u2xJ75
Could you confirm whether you are connected to a slow internet? That might have affected the loading time for you.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi there!
1. The archive page option can be found in Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout > Feature: https://share.zight.com/o0uLpdpw
However, there is no option for it in the single post layout. What you can do is use a hooked element to show a dynamic image using the blocks and select the image size there.
2. There is no option to set the lightbox’s image file size. On the other hand, you may log a feature request here so other users can also vote for it – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/
3. The cross icon will be there by default. There is no setting/option to hide it but you can add this to Customize > Additional CSS:
.slbCloseBtn {display: none;}Please note that this will hide all lightbox close icons.
4. The lightbox images should always show at the center. The size will be scaled depending on the screen size – https://share.zight.com/YEuwm2dZ
Could you send a page URL here so I can check the page styles? You can set the reply as private so only you and the support team can see the link.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: How do you duplicate a query card
April 30, 2024 at 3:18 pm #288554Hi Robert,
There is currently no built-in clone/duplicate option for the Query Card. There are third-party duplicate plugins, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-page.
I tried this, and I was able to change some settings in the duplicated Query card without it affecting the original.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.zight.com/o0uLpAD4
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.
