I have Kadence theme installed. I have set sidebar 1 as the default sidebar for posts and pages. The issue is that the sidebars are not working. Any widget that I add in the sidebars is not showing on the front end.
January 4, 2024 at 8:10 pm #286963I have been digging around, but I don’t seem to be able to find an answer. Is there a way to capture the Page URL, Form Name, and User IP in a hidden field that could then be moved to the mailing list (in my case, FluentCRM)? I know this information is captured for the database, but apparently, it’s not automatically synced to the database of FluentCRM. Nor does the database export offer all this data as well for a possible manual merge.
Thanks,

Hi there!
I see it here and I’m only using the free PolyLang plugin – https://share.zight.com/KouKmPRO.
Do you have the Kadence Pro add-on? If you do, you can utilize the Hooked Elements feature. There is an option there to replace footers for specific pages/posts.
Here’s a link to our documentation for your reference – https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-replace-the-footer-using-a-kadence-element/.
This is how I created a footer specifically for Tagalog pages/posts – https://share.zight.com/9Zu4G7O4
Let us know if you need further help with this.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksHi there!
No worries, we’re glad to help.
But apart from that, when I adjust the scale using the CSS code I told you last time, there is a problem that the center mode is not centered, and I am not sure how to solve this.
Do you have a page available for viewing? One where I can see the block with this issue. You can set your reply as private so only you and us from the support team can see the page URL.
I’d like to see the current look of the block and inspect the styles so I can better recommend CSS tweaks.

January 3, 2024 at 8:44 pm #286950Hi there,
Currently, there is no built-in setting/option to enable search on the archive pages.
There is a search widget that you can add in the header that provides the same search functionality. See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuekgBK
If you have the Kadence Pro plugin, you can add a Content Element with a WordPress search block Before the Archive Content.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGudXYnk
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

January 3, 2024 at 8:04 pm #286948Hi Markus,
You can adjust the Featured Image Ratio in the Appearance > Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > Single Post Layout settings. I believe you have it now set to 2:1.
Can you set this to a 3:2 ratio?
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quXRqg4
Or do you need this to be 2:1 specifically?
Please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

Teejay.In forum: Kadence ThemeJanuary 3, 2024 at 9:39 am #286943Hi everyone,
I would like to add a research bar in my blog page. Just above the articles 🙂 (check my screenshot).
Someone can help me ?
Thanks,
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi, Patrick.
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
What is the field type of the “Reviewed by” ACF custom field? If it is a Text field, there is no easy way to add a dynamic link to that user’s archive page.
What you can do is add another custom field for the “reviewed by author link”. Then, add a dynamic link to the text block in the hooked elements.
Let me know if this works for you.

Hi, @haroldo.arruda!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Here’s a link to the documentation for the free Virtue theme – https://docs.kadencewp.com/virtue-free/fullwidth-page-template/
If you’re already using WordPress Gutenberg, the look of the edit page screen will be different. Here’s how you can find the page template selection – https://share.zight.com/p9uBnEpj.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Box Shadow with Carousel Layout
January 1, 2024 at 6:12 am #286918Just to add to this. I found a better solution to be to place the slider into a row > section layout, then add the padding to allow the box-shadow inside your individual slide, and then finally add equal negative margins to the parent row > section.
With this solution:
• The styling is kept within the UI for easier editing in the future.
• The negative margins applied mean that your slide doesn’t look out of line with other elements on the page.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Remove sidebar
December 31, 2023 at 6:54 am #286917Hi Ben,
The page above http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#fullwidthpage.
Does not existIn forum: Kadence ThemeI’m using Kadence for a multi-language site (using Polylang) but can’t find how to change the widgets in the footer per language.
Ideally, I’d like to have a different footer per language.
I’m also fine with setting up multiple widgets in the footer and somehow displaying them based on the page language.
Any pointers how I can get that to work?
ThanksIn forum: Kadence Blocksokay. Thank you for answer.
For now, customization seems to be the best method. However, if I create pagination as a separate custom html block within one page in the form of “<current page number / final page number>”,
Could you help me write JavaScript code that links to the slider (gallery) and displays it?I’m sorry if this was a rude request.

December 28, 2023 at 6:07 pm #286911Hi,
I’m also only seeing two products and I have no “Rows PEr Page” option in the customizer.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.
In forum: Kadence ThemeDecember 28, 2023 at 6:10 am #286908Thanks, It worked. But is it possible to make the name of the reviewer clickable, so that my readers check out the bio of the reviewer? Since the reviewer is added as an author in the blog, I basically just want the name to also link to the reviewer’s author bio page instead of just being displayed as a text. Thanks once again Karla, you’ve been very supportive so far.

December 28, 2023 at 5:06 am #286907Hi Linda,
Ah yes, I checked their website, and they indeed use Kadence plugins but not the Kadence theme — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/wbuB18qq
I hope an expert can see this post and help you.
We don’t have other recommendations apart from the Kadence experts we have on our page.
Let me know if you have concerns with the functionalities of Kadence and I will gladly assist further.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Conditional menu for different pages
December 27, 2023 at 12:24 pm #286890I find francisjason010’s point interesting.
Having a list of conditional menus would allow for personalized headers with custom menus on each page.
I believe francisjason010 is requesting a functionality that is not currently considered. You can establish a menu order, similar to what is done with https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-menus/.
Currently, this plugin is not compatible with Kadence, and having this functionality would greatly ease the positioning of pages or posts in specific locations.
Currently, with the 4 menus, we can only create 4 different headers. What we propose is the ability to have unlimited headers with the 4 menus being completely independent.
I am trying to create several headers, and the only way to have different menus is by using 1, 2, 3, or 4 as the main one. It is a limitation that could be solved with something similar to the mentioned plugin or by implementing more menus for the conditional headers.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for the screenshot.
There is no built-in feature to change the Search block background color.
To better help with this, please send us a link to the page with the Search block. We recommend that when sending links to your websites, kindly check “set as private reply” before submitting your reply.
Please let us know how we can help further.
