Hi Hanna,
I’ve been having the same problem with the reCaptcha badge displaying on every single page as well. I had worked out how to remove it by dequeueing the “ktv3-google-recaptcha” script with some logic to decide which page it should be on. But then I found you seem to have a filter called ‘kadence_recaptcha_v3_load_every_page’, so I just set that to false and it works. Sort of. If you’re logged in already it only shows the badge on the pages that are selected in the plugin settings, but if you logout it continues to show the badge on every page. I’ve cleared the cache and even turned it off and cleared the browser cache etc. and it doesn’t help.

I am also doing the same thing on another website where it works perfectly using the ‘kadence_recaptcha_v3_load_every_page’ filter. The only difference on that site is that I’m not using Kadence theme.

I’m sorry, I was so hoping that you had cracked it, but no. I turned HTTPS enforcing on, but the issue still remains.

Individual posts seem to load most of the time, but pages hang. Ie. the front page and blog page just keep spinning.

Do you have any other ideas?

Currently, there is no built-in option to show the author avatar on their archive page’s above content title section. You may add this as a feature request on this page. However, please note that we cannot give an ETA of when this feature will be added as the development team considers certain factors before implementing new ones.

You’ll need to adjust the slider settings to get the full image to display on all devices. In your slider settings, turn “Respect Image Aspect Ratio” ON, and then your image will resize to show the full photo on all displays.

We have exactly the same issue. Rolling back to 2.1.7 has fixed for now. All our pages that used Kadence blocks broke but it also broke other pages including random search results.

From logs:

I troubleshooted by deactivating the plugin.

1) Deactivating = Site is open again, but Kadence Blocks plugin now made several pages using the plugin to look wonky. Row Layout I use, columns, wont work etc.

2) I then uninstalled and reinstalled the Kadence Blocks plugin.

Result: Problem still excist. Plugin messed up the site.

3) I then tried to deactivate each feature within the KAdence Blocks plugin, to no avail.

Hello,

I can confirm the issue happens if I accessed your website with HTTP. However, once the pages were loaded in HTTPS, the issue does not occur. Kindly confirm if this is the case on your end as well and if it is, make sure HTTP redirects to HTTPS automatically as it seems like this is the issue.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having this issue.

When I use the contact form shortcode on my test website, the email is being sent. A thing I noticed after sending a form submission on your page is the form is not showing after reloading. Just to confirm, do you have a custom code that does that?

Additionally, do you receive any WordPress default emails such as password reset? If you do not receive those either, you’ll need to set up your SMTP properly. You may refer to this article for more information regarding this.

Hey, I know there’s a sitemap.xml file created via Yoast.
Is there a way to actually see a list of all the site’s links and have it clickable via Yoast/Kadence?

I find it handy for checking pages and such.

I am using up to date browsers. I was using Chrome Version 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit) when testing last time, updated to Version 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (64-bit) and the hanging persists. Edge Version is 92.0.902.73 (Official Build) (64-bit). Tested on 2 different win 10 machines.

I managed to get it to happen almost every time and not random as follows:

1. Launch the site in Chrome incognito mode.
2. Load any page or post on the site.
3. Click on any menu/link to load that same post/page again.
4. When the page loads again, the plugin hangs and leaves the overlay and endless spinner on.

On Edge you don’t have to be in incognito mode, it hangs if you try to load the page you are on.

I tried to remove the URL password protection, checked logs and console, nothing was there to help.

Hi Daniel,
Apologies for the delay! Are you overriding the transparent header for your pages? This can be done from the edit page under Page Title and Sub title. Do you still have the transparent header enabled there?

I just tested it, and although it appears to work from the user’s standpoint, I have not received the test message in my email after almost half an hour of waiting.

I then decided to test the main contact form, and I also did not receive the message in my email.

The email I think the messages should be going to is [email protected]

Do you see any problems with how I installed the contact form? Just it just take a few hours for a message to arrive or something?

Is there a way to add the caption for the featured image on a single post page? Working on a newspaper site and I would like to have the caption under the featured image with the photo credit. I currently have the image above the title and I don’t want to move the image into the post in order to use the caption. Any suggestions?

When the excerpt is displayed with the default length, how is that determined? For example, I have some pages with multiple paragraphs and other times where only a few lines are needed. Is there a way to set the “breakpoint” for the excerpt?

I guess what I am really looking for is a way to set a custom Excerpt for each page and not have it pulled from the body of the Page itself.

Thanks for your reply. I mean the homepage of my site. I set this to “grid view”, see https://www.basenmandy.nl
In the grid, you can see the feature image and excerpt of all posts. Now the titles of these posts (in the grid view) are h2, and I’de like to change that to h1.

I’m encountering excess white space between the header and the top of posts in the Kadence theme. This is true whether the content is in classic or blocks format.

The pages line up with the top of the sidebar, but not the posts.

I added this css to the customizer:
.site-header {
padding-bottom: 0;
}

to no avail.

Any ideas what could be causing this problem?
