December 27, 2014 at 8:55 am #26140Thank you Ben and Hanna!
Yes, I used stand alone plugin for iframe as well as Virtual Composer’s add-on. Result is the same – very slow and glitch. Glitch looked as the same:
no content has been shown on the page, only header and footer.
Finally, I removed iframe and put picture with link on homepage: http://mysuitecruise.com
At the same time, I need a special page for brochures with cool pop-up effect but afraid glitches.
Code is here:

Thank you for advice!
Yours,In forum: Virtue ThemeDecember 27, 2014 at 7:14 am #26138Hello.
I am using now Yoast SEO plugin, the recommend to set a site title and page titles for every page and my title template in that plugin is %%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%
My site title (in WP->Settings) is set as “Neobici, motos y bicicletas electricas para Colombia”. And my front page title is “Quieres una bicicleta electrica en Bogotá?”.As a result, my page title is now: [Quieres una bicicleta electrica en Bogotá? – Neobici, motos y bicicletas electricas para Colombia]
Which is too long. I expected: [Quieres una bicicleta electrica en Bogotá? – Neobici]
As I understand now, this is because of the wp_title() function Virtue theme uses in the header. Can you:
– Point how to achieve the title I want?
– If I need to edit wp_title() in virtue theme, where can I find this?
– Does Kadence have a SEO tutorial with tips and guides? Thanks

December 26, 2014 at 5:53 pm #26121Yes, you can set the “category” (portfolio type) in the portfolio page settings. See your portfolio page settings here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#portfoliogridpage
All you have to do is create two parent types for you portfolio posts.

December 26, 2014 at 2:39 pm #26118Hi,
I have 2 quick questions.
1. What is the best way to put iFrame into page? I used VC add-on but it created a glitch. Any ideas?
2. How to change font size for breadcrumbs?
Thank you!In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Moved: Reply To: Blog pagination going to 404 page
http://null-papier.de/prodcat/katalog/romantik/
When you scroll down (infinite scroll, fine!) it will call:
http://null-papier.de/prodcat/katalog/romantik/page/2/ (which is OK) and then
http://null-papier.de/prodcat/katalog/romantik/page/3/ (Which is NOT ok, because this page does not exists)So, every time somebody scrolls down to the last page I get an 404 error in my log files.

Thanks, Hannah. I’d already seen that tutorial. You say “typically”, which isn’t quite what I was asking. I’m asking if a site “can have more than one portfolio”. That’s because my services are in different categories (I understand you can have different types/categories) and I would like them to be featured separately. I’d like each category to be featured on its own page. So, again, is that possible?
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Multiple Portfolio Pages
Hey, so typically a site will have one portfolio page, but many portfolio posts. When you go to the portfolio page you’ll see the featured images of all your posts, then with each post you can add as many photos as you want with text. Or you can have different portfolio types (like categories) and you can add as many posts as you want to each type.
This tutorial may explain a bit more: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-portfolio-page-with-virtue/
Hope that helps you!Hannah

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Multiple Portfolio Pages
I may be overlooking the obvious: Is it possible to have several different Portfolio pages on my site? For example:
One page for landscape photography, with some general content on the subject, and a portfolio of landscape photos
Another page for portrait photography, with general content about that, and a portfolio of portraits
etc.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
suddenly, there is a flexslider on my home page. Home page is “Posts” type.
Where is flexslider configured?
It shows latest 3 pics automatically. I might even keep this functionality, if I knew where to change it to more pics, etc.As far as I remember, the last change was to change an existing page to blog grid.
No, I have no CSS code in my Custom CSS Box.
🙂

December 24, 2014 at 12:15 pm #26077No. I don’t have catching plugin. It doesn’t allowed by WPEngine.
So far everything is fine.
I will iform you if any issues.
So far, my main problem – portfolio indexing by Google. Some portfolio pages don’t show up in Google yet.
I will wait one more week before I confirm that there is an issue.

December 24, 2014 at 11:17 am #260711. These are not effects applied to images. They are a post with settings in the post that define how they look in a grid.
For the demo 2 home page those are portfolio posts. They are created in the portfolio section of the admin and each one is given a featured image, a category (type) and title. it’s those things that are pulled into the home page.
See this tutorial for building a portfolio grid: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-portfolio-page-with-virtue/
Adding the grid in the home page is just a matter of what you have enabled in the theme options > home layout. You can learn about it here:
https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-home-page-with-virtue/The image flip (which is an option for products only) is something you can enabled in the theme options > shop settings. Then when you have woo-commerce installed you can add products, each product can have price and title description etc. There is a place where you can set the featured image and add an image to the product gallery it is those images that are used for the flip.
2. You can see tutorials here: https://www.kadencewp.com/tutorials/
There are docs here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/and if you want to learn the revolution slider they have a great documentation here: http://revolution.themepunch.com/documentation/
and video guides here: http://revolution.themepunch.com/video-guides/and a final link for you, if your new to wordpress it would be good to start here and really get a handle for the framework: http://leveluptuts.com/tutorials/wordpress-basics

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: homepage doesn't scroll down
Hi Ben,
Thank you so much.
My sister connected yesterday on my website, she told me she can’t scroll down on my homepage.
I was using the last version I uploaded a few days ago, but I don’t know where I can read the name of the version in my wordpress desk…
I suppose it’s the 2.7.8. because I don’t have any proposition for upload.
By the way, I’m sorry because I don’t know my sister’s window version either her IE version.
I wrote her just a few minutes ago but she don’t answer me, I think she is busy with the christmas party 🙂In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: No Content on Homepage
December 24, 2014 at 10:37 am #26065Hmm,
Without seeing the page updated it’s hard to know what the issue was. If there was a javascript error it could have caused such an issue. You said it got better when you disabled plugins? do you know which ones?Ben

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: homepage doesn't scroll down
Hi!
I put the smooth scroll on the position “off”.
Could you please tell me if you can scroll down on my homepage if possible?
By the way, I don’t have any PC at home, I’m a Mac user.
This is my sister’s computer but she is not available now for testing in her home!In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: No Content on Homepage
December 24, 2014 at 9:24 am #26057Hi,
My website mysuitecruise.com
I had an issue with homepage only at night today.
I checked site around 11 PM yesterday – it was fine.
I checked today at 7 AM – no content for homepage at all.
I contacted my host and we checked what caused a problem. We disabled plugins – no issues. We changed theme for default Twenty Fourteen -no issue. When we switched back to Virtue – content disappeared.
When we restore yesterday’s theme – it was fine. So, we left reinstalled version now. Yesterday I installed SEO Yoast and made changes in page SEO
Please investigate.
Thank you!In forum: Virtue ThemeHi. i make a site with virtue premium ad this URL http://www.villaangelicariva.com. In main page the kadence slider don’t work, send me a message “Please specify a slider ID”. The ID is specified, as in other pages where everything works normally, but in this specific page don’t work. If I make a page with a complete address this works, for example *Login to see link But, if i make this page a static page (customize themes) the kadence slider don’t work…
Thank for attention
