In reply to: Cannot save tyography changes
All done and put updated php.ini back in webroot directory, no change. Put php.ini in wp_admin directory, no change. A wp blogger who had go daddy had success changing the name from php.ini to php5.ini in the wp_admin (I asked godaddy about this and they were of no help) I did put a file in wp_admin renamed php5.ini, no joy, and this only made the site load more slowly, so I removed it. It appears that when users try to approach this from the htaccess or wpconfig they have problems with their site crashing and I really don’t want to go there.
I’ll keep checking blogs for info, or try to have yet a fourth conversation with go daddy, but the bottom line is for now I’ll have to let some plugins go as I started having these problems when I added more plugins… Google Analytics by Yoast, Pagebuilder, BlackStudio TinyMCE Widget and W3 Total Cache. Then there’s the issue of godaddy, which if it is so difficult to update these settings using their configuration, I will seriously consider moving to another host.
If you think of anything else, just let me know. Thanks.In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Increase Number of Blog Posts on Homepage
December 16, 2014 at 11:51 am #25405If you set the home page as your latest post page you can change the limit in the settings > reading. Then use “page content” instead of the “latest posts” in your theme options > home layout.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: variable product add to cart problem
December 16, 2014 at 11:48 am #25403Hey,
This isn’t a theme issue. It’s got to do with a plugin your loading. If you click anywhere on the page it’s reverting you. Have you tried deactivating your plugins?Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Slider Padding
OK, so how should the row settings look like in this new pagebuilder ?
Do i need to define any CSS class and style ?The row where the slider is inserted, is currently set to full width stretched. Slider set to full screen
The background of the scroll bar was visible ONLY on the homepage and it was the classic styled background.
After i set all the rows in HOME page to FULL WIDTH STRETCHED the scroll background is no longer visible !After last updates and modifications i also noticed my header on the homepage is shrinked and ignores the paddings set in header/main menu options.
Greetings,
BIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeWe are experiencing a problem on mobile devices (htc, samsung galaxy) with the add to cart button on the variable product. It simply doesn’t . It doesn’t add anything to the cart and instead of redirecting to the cart, it takes you back to a product category page. Is it an issue with the theme? Here’s a sample page: *Login to see link
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi everybody!
I am enjoying this theme very much, but I was wondering if I could add the feature of a website link to my staff page. Now I can add Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram. I would like to at least add a website link with it’s own icon! Can someone please help me out?
Thank you in advance!
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Flex slider & custom carrousel
Hello,
1. You can remove the slider in mobile by going to theme options > mobile slider. Turn the mobile slider feature on and select “none” for the choose a slider for mobile option.
2. To remove the page title change your css to this:.hometitle { display: none; }I’m not seeing an excerpt in mobile on your carousel. The css you provided above should work for that. Try clearing your cache.
Hope that helps!
HannahIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hanna and Ben,
Maybe you can help me with a bit of advice.
I have added a flex slider and a custom carrousel to my front page (norresletmountaineering.com) / still far from finished 🙂
1. The flex slider I’d like to exclude from mobile view.
2. The custom carrousel I’d also like to hide from mobile view, and have some problem even when reducing to lesser screen size (but more than mobile)
For the custom carrousel I have added:
h3.hometitle {
display: none;
}.custom_carousel_item .ccarousel_excerpt {
display: none;
}not to show the titel and excepts, but seems only to work when full screen. As soon as I reduce the screen they pop up again. I am sure I have to add some @media tags, but have tried many different ways and just can’t figure it out.
Maybe you have some suggestions?
All the best,

December 16, 2014 at 2:32 am #25367I just put out a new version that should clean up the styles for pagebuilder 2.0

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Slider Padding
The pagebuilder changed completely and i can’t find the wide content anymore.
I did try some option called full width stretched in the Layout tab of the row, no result.
More now, setting FORCE FULL WIDTH in the slider makes no difference anymore.I did set the slider to RESPONSIVE now. This seems to cover the margins but now the background of the scroll bar popped out again.
Maybe you can see it too and it is fixable ? Guess i need to modify some CSS that used to fix that ?Thank you for taking the time,

Awesome! Thanks for your quick, informative response.
And no worries, the updated PageBuilder looks good (and responds quickly) indeed, and I figured there’d probably be some kinks while updating.
Thanks, as always, for your great support! I’ll go ahead and mark this ‘resolved’ and update the folks at PageBuilder about the php business.

December 16, 2014 at 1:35 am #25364Hey,
The boolval error means your using a version of php earlier then 5.5 (which is actually pretty common). I’m guessing the guys at pagebuilder will have a if function exists check in the next update.As for all the row styles. well with 2.0 pagebuilder redid all there hooks. It’s actually a much better plugin with some great new features but they didn’t allow for a seemless update. I have an update coming out in a couple minutes which will make all the options work again but it will mean having to reset some of your row styles like the background image as an example.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Checkout not working
December 16, 2014 at 1:32 am #25363@Beng Choon
Starting with the most basic. in the woocommerce settings > checkout, have you assigned a page to be the checkout page?
In the pages is that page by chance in the trash? or does it have private or force ssl on?
Are you using the checkout plugin like a payment gateway? If so have you deactivated?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Checkout not working
December 16, 2014 at 12:51 am #25361I am having the exact problem as Lynn is facing.
After upgrading from Virtue to Virtue Premium the checkout doesnt direct to the correct page.
Therefore payment process is stuck.
I enclose here my website link https://www.asiatotheeurope.com
If you can show me some pointers how to repair this.
Thank you-Benny
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello there,
I have notified the folks at PageBuilder about this too (this issue might fall under their scope of service? I don’t know), but in any case I’m having the following issue.
After updating to Page Builder 2.0/2.01 I have a fatal error show up when trying to tinker with Edit Row->Styles->Theme. The error reads: Fatal error: Call to undefined function boolval() in /home/benjaminryejones/public_html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/styles.php on line 175. This line refers to case ‘checkbox’, so it looks like something funky is going on there.
I am unable to edit the background, padding, colors, etc., settings here. Moreover the update has removed some of my previous formatting on certain rows (such as that at the top of my home page). Help would be much appreciated!
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Unable to access paralax option when adding a row
December 15, 2014 at 8:03 pm #25357Hey,
I should have the update out soon, (like tonight), since the new pagebuilder totally changed framework I’ve just been testing the changes and updating the theme.Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeBefore the update to the new page editor, I was able to select a paralax option for new rows. I no longer see the option for paralax in the new option. The right column never loads too (which may be where the option is). It continually shows loading.
Any suggestions?
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Change header hight for mobile
December 15, 2014 at 4:42 pm #25347Hey,
1. Well it does depend on what type of header your using.. you can try using css like this:@media (max-width: 768px) { div#kad-shrinkheader, #kad-banner, a.brand.logofont, .kad-header-style-basic #logo #thelogo, .nav-trigger-case .kad-navbtn, .kad-header-style-basic #nav-main ul.sf-menu > li > a { height: 60px !important; line-height: 60px !important; } .kad-lg { max-height: 60px !important; } } .trans-header #pageheader { padding-top: 60px; }2. You can use this css:
.light-dropshaddow { -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4); -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4); box-shadow: 0 0 4px rgba(0,0,0,.4); }Ben
