Hey,
1. You can add this css in the theme options:
.kad-topbar-left {
width: 100%;
}
2. You can add the link to whatever page you want, just copy the link from your browser and add in the link field.

Now I am trying to see if my child theme’s style.css is working and it is not.
I entered for example:
.page-header {
text-align: right;
}
The page header does not move. What could be the problem?
Hello Kadence Themes Community,
I just purchased the premium version of Virtue – very nice product! I’m using it for my company’s blog – *Login to see link
I’m not positive I’m using the correct terminology… I want to move the sidebar from the right of the home page content to the left. Or accomplish the same thing via another mechanism (widget area?). By sidebar, I mean the right hand column of my blog, currently has Do Your Taxes, Recent Posts, and Follow Us.
Thanks in advance!
Bill
Hello Ben:
I am using the “Types – Custom Fields and Custom Post Types Management” plugin to add some custom post types. How can I allow the CPT’s to utilize the tullwidth template that is integrated in the Virtue?
P.S.
I did create a child theme for the purpose of custom post type templates.
Thank you

Hi again,
I have a Virtue website taking advantage of both your Testimonial Grid page and your Staff Grid page. My clients LOVE sidebars, so have requested a right sidebar on every single page.
This is fine, however, the Testimonial Grid page and Staff Grid page don’t take sidebars, EVEN THOUGH there is an option to designate one in the Edit function of the Page. They just refuse to show it.
So, I’ve redesigned the pages myself, using a Default option, selecting not to use the grid. However, if there is a fix for this, I would be MOST enthusiastic, because I love to use what is out there…
Best,
Meagan
Hi there,
I saw in the last update that we can link the testimonial carousel “See More” to the Testimonial Page – this is FAB.
However, right now, the “See More” isn’t visible unless you know to scroll over it. And “See More” is the ONLY thing that links.
Is there a way to make this easier?
a) Make the entire “testimonial speech bubble” a link to the Testimonial Page (or page of choice)
b) Make the Widget Title: Testimonials a link to the Testimonial Page (or page of choice)
c) Make the “See More” visible without any fade
Other ideas?
Thank you!
I have 16 icons in my top bar icon menu which I would like to link to category items in WordPress Busines Directory.
They presently form two rows on the lefthand side.
1. Can you tell me how to make these into one row centralised across the page
2. Can you tell me how to link the icons to the wordpress Business Directory categories which I believe are different to normal wordpress categories.
My test site is http://www.cjkgallery.co.uk/testsite
Tnx
Thank you for replying. I’ve tested your recocomandations. Turned out it only work for page builder widgets. What i would like to do is move the vCard/contact widget in the center of the second column of the footer.
Too bad, its really cool:)
The code I added:
*hide
I tried it with a text-element, just adding it as “text” in the editor. And I also it into a page template. but all result to the same. I hope you have any suggestions. Thanks!!
Hey,
That isn’t a virtue widget it’s part of the pagebuilder options.
You can upload an image to your site, get the url for that image and copy that url into the image box in the widget.
Ben
The info box width is set by the container it’s added to. So if your using pagebuilder just place the widget in a column.
and height is set by the content you add.
Ben
Hey,
You don’t need any of those functions. See an example child theme here: https://www.kadencewp.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/virtue_premium_child.zip
any time to activate a new theme, even a child theme you have to assign which menus are going to which theme location. all you have to do is go to the menus page and assign your menu.

Hi guys, i’m trying to add a testimonial page to my site, whereby the customer can add a photo in with the testimonial. Is there anyway to do that?
Thank you!
I have a plugin I would like to use for sticky/floating sidebar; however, it relies on knowing the ID attribute of the sidebar.
Most of my pages (for example, *Login to see link use the “Primary” sidebar. The code in widgets.php seems to be passing around various ID strings for the widget creation… but somehow these don’t make it to the widgets? I didn’t follow through the code to the end, but the rendered result seems to indicate a “quasi”-ID being rendered as classes. I do see some IDs on individual widgets, but no IDs on sidebar areas.
“Download failed. Unauthorized”
That signifies a permissions issue on your server.
You can contact your hosting company and ask them to correct your permissions in your files and server or you can try to manually upload the plugins.
For example if you take the zip file that you downloaded from Kadence Themes, you can open it browser to lib/plugins and you’ll see the plugin zip files there. You can manually upload in the plugins page of your wordpress admin. Just click add new and then upload.

Hey, I’m not sure I understand. You just want the header picture to remain the same site-wide? You can set that in theme options > page title. You can also set title color here. And menu color you can set in theme options > menu settings.
Hope that helps!
Hannah
Thanks for dragging my attention onto this. I never used pagebuilder before. Kind of a-team’s army swiss knife.
I guess there is a lot for me to discover now.

Hey,
so im trying to use the CSS
@media only screen {
}
to format the blog post excerpts on the home page, so they should up in a 2 column fashion, as they do on desktop. Currently they show larger sized boxes one above the other on mobile. What do i add into the CSS to make this work? Ive been struggling for days!

Please see *Login to see link (tested with FF and Chrome). In the second line of products between the products “Goldcrest” and “Hoopoe” there is a bigger gap of space. Looks a bit strange. I guess this is because of the product “Pour Over Set + 250g Kaffee” directly above it. This has a longer product name that goes over 2 lines.
Can anything be done about this, so the space gap does not occur, any custom CSS I could add?
thnks for answers everthing look fine but i have one problemen to fix i have on my home page image background “decouvrir nos services ” dosent display in mobile
i use the image default theme
