Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way to play the videos that I have uploaded to my portfolio from the grid screen itself? I rather them play right there in the grid or make them open in a lightbox instead of sending the user to the portfolio single post page. I have embedded the video with HTML5 but I will most likely be using Vimeo or Youtube embedded videos in the future. Please let me know if this functionality is possible, thanks!

Thanks Ben. I just did a duplicate of the home page and translated that duplicate one and it worked. I don’t think is the correct way but is now done. Thanks in any case for taking the time to see the problem.

Hello Ben, nope, let me explain it better. I have a static home page created in English with a slider. The top bar applies for all pages and has the switcher for the languages (fRENCH AND eNGLISH). When I click on the home page (in the plus sign) to create the french page, it does it. but once is done and I want to update the french page, for example, if I want to change a sentence and then update, the French switch on the top bar desapears. The french page is on the list of the french pages but the switch in the top bar does show the french option. You can see it here: http://www.gbwebandgraphicdesign.com/poolfence/ go to any other page different to the home page and you will see englsih and french. Olny happens in the home page

So I’m confused. You have a home page set in the settings > reading as your font page right? And you’ve created an english and french version right? When you save the page in either version it removes the other. So If you save the french version the english version is completely gone?Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello Kadhence Team! I have a problem in the top bar with the WPML translation plugin. I have translated every page of my website and in the top bar appears correctly the English and French switcher. But in the index (home page) as soon as I try to translate or do any kind of update e.g. SEO title or meta tag, or any simple wording update in the page body example if I have a typo or want to change a word, as soon as I do that and hit on “update”, the French switcher in the top bar disappears and therefore the french page is gone. It does not happen in any other page, only when I update the home page. Any idea why this happens? I really appreciate your help on this. Many thanks!

ok, so you have a portfolio post. Your not working on a page.
Go into your pages and make sure you don’t have a page with the permalink portfolio… from the looks of it you do: http://50rocks.nl/portfolio/
change that permalink to something else.
Then make sure to resave all your permalinks in the settings > permalink page.

No, I downloaded it on your homepage over “My Account”
“Virtue Premium WordPress Theme – virtue_premium_v2_6_7.zip”
Then I put it on my homepage over filezilla and when I try to enter my homepage it says that error message.

Hey, can you post a link to your actual portfolio page? Is it possible that you created a portfolio page, then deleted and created a new one? Sometimes that will mess with the slug and you have to go into your trash and permanently delete the original portfolio page. Not saying that’s the case-but it’s a guess.

Hello,
When I creating a Portfolio Page and save it I can view it, but when it is published I get the message: Not found!
I already tried: Trouble Shooting – If you keep seeing page not found when you click on your portfolio post you likely need to re-save your permalinks. Just go to Settings >> Permalinks in your wordpress admin and click the save button at the bottom. But nothing changes.
What do I do wrong?

I have one page on my website which is not displaying any content. It was working until I made some recent updates but I’m not sure at what point it stopped working. It now simply says “Shop. Showing the single result”, even though it is not a Woo product page. I tried using a live preview of the default 2014 theme to check and the page displays blank in that as well.

It should be a full width page with an image and some text. Other pages with a similar format still display OK which is what puzzles me. There is nothing complicated on this page.
I’ve tried editing the content and reproducing the page but it always comes out blank.
The page is not using any sliders, widgets or other plugins so I am stumped as to what is causing it.
Any ideas what may cause this behaviour?

Don’t see this, I’m not much of a techie (Have you tried saving your permalinks with the post-title option? in settings > permalinks?)
When I was setting this new site up I had a old non wp site. I wanted to keep the old one going while working on the wp site so I named it kpbarnwear.com/test . When I went to switch I deleted my old site and removed the /test from the word press site.(DUH) I then had nothing working. I called Go Daddy and they helped me move it into the right directory but some of the links didn’t work so they had me use a plugin to fix it but i deleted it so I can’t tell you what it was.
