In reply to: Contact form 7 and widgets
Hey Emmanuel, if you’re not using the themes contact form then there’s no need to set the template to contact. You can set it to fullwidth and use page builder to add a row with two columns. In the first column add a text widget with your contact forms shortcode and add a text widget to the second column with whatever writing you want to add.
Hope this helps!

August 11, 2014 at 12:31 am #14936I don’t think I understand. The flex slider on your home page doesn’t open up? You don’t have a link in the images.
What did I suggest about the background? I don’t see that here?

August 11, 2014 at 12:16 am #14932Emmanuel use the sidebar page tempalte if you want to have a sidebar. If not then use the full width of contact page template.
Yes you can set up your contact page with a map and contact form (the demo doesn’t have a sidebar)
Just use the contact page template: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#contactpage

Hi,
I copy and pasted copy into a new page, and when I published thi hover-effect copy block (Collective Pension Fund, in link below), which includes the copy I pasted started appearing on every page at the top. How do I remove that (and how did it get there)?
Thanks!
JeffIn forum: Virtue ThemeI noticed that my very first posts have a “Like This” option at the bottom of the page and it shows a never ending “Loading” beachball.
If I disable “Show Likes” for each post, it stops.
What am I missing here? Is this theme related or should I look for help somewhere else?In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Contact form 7 and widgets
Hi,

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi!
I have two questions, the first:
Is it possible to reduce the size of the font of the home page slider in ”portrait-mode for iPad”?
In landscape-mode the font looks fine, but in the portrait-mode the font is quite big.
See this link for what I mean: *Login to see linkSecond question:
When I turn my iPad from portrait-mode to landscape-mode the portfolio-slider will not adjust to the right screen size.
It will only show a part of the last picture. Is it possible to fix this problem?
If you turn the iPad from landscape-mode to portrait-mode the problem is visible too, but to a lesser extent.
See these links for a view of the problem:

Greetings,
FrankIn forum: Virtue ThemeI’ve tried to find what’s wrong and have disabled and deleted every non-kadence recommended theme, but I can not figure out why my images are not showing up on pages that have a slider, (revolution) and shop, (woocommerce). Images show up on other pages, and even items in the shop who’s image is not visible are clickable, to a page where the image is visible.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Category Description Appearing in Menu
August 9, 2014 at 8:03 pm #14870In the menus page of wordpress. click on the Booze & Brews menu item. Change the description field. If you can’t see the description field click the “screen options” button in the top right corner.
What happens is when you add the category menu item to your menu wordpress sometimes grabs the description from the category and adds it to the menu item. But from then on they are separate and you have to change them separately.

Hi hannah,
Its all good now. I have been reading up on bootstrap and all the ways devices work with websites’
using things like @media (min-width:768px;). So some slight CSS has fixed my issue:)As usual I do have another question. I have been trying to get my homepage to look like yours with
regard to the post carousel section. http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/image-slider-post/
How can i get my recent blog posts to carousel and have the text underneath each post like your site ?
In the home page layout there is no “Blog/Post Carousel” widget ?
Many Thanks,Scott

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Google Map in tab only loading partially
Thanks for the clarification.
As I know the background I was now able to google for the issue and there coming up various pages descriping the problem:
– http://wphostreviews.com/mappress-faq Under “Only a corner of the map displays, the rest is a gray square”
– http://stackoverflow.com/a/15986008/1129950Bottom line seems to be, that one has to trigger a map resize when the tabs get activated.
So using something like$('.woocommerce-tabs ul.tabs li a').click(function(){ google.maps.event.trigger(map, "resize"); });Thanks
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi there,
I was wondering if it was possible to show the product information (title and price) on top of the product image when you rollover it on the shop page?
A bit like on this website:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
