If I am understanding you right. It would probably be best to just make a different page, for each full page. And put text at the bottom with a link to the next page. That way if I currently have a page #1, and I want to add a second page, rename the page 1 to page 2, and then make a new page 1. That way the newest photos stay at the front of the list.

June 13, 2014 at 12:05 pm #10631Well you can change the name of a page at anytime.
As for pagination. You can see an example here: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/forum/virtue-theme/
Scroll to the bottom of the forum and look at the number links that take you deeper into the forum.
You can have a page like that, but it means that in the admin side everything happens on one page. So it can be a lot to manage.
Add This to your page
<!--nextpage-->then add something after and you can test. Just not that that has to be added as text so you need to be in a text widget or on the text tab of the page content.
This is only an option, If it makes more sense to you have different pages then that works great too. It’s all up to how you want to do it and there is not a “best way”.

I don’t understand exactly what you mean by “pagination”. Do I have to make a new page for each full set of photos, and give them different names? If that is the case, then I need to rename the first page before I get to far along. Such as handgun gallery 1, handgund gallery 2, etc. This is what I have so far.

June 13, 2014 at 11:48 am #10629Yes that or you can add
<!--nextpage-->after each gallery, That would create a pagination at the bottom of your page with 1 2 3 links.Ben

You could just use a wordpress gallery… or if you are using page builder the virtue: gallery widget.
http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/wordpress-gallery/If you want the images to link to pages instead of a lightbox then you can use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gallery-custom-links/

I am currently working on the following page *Login to see link , I am wanting to add a gallery of 4 rows wide, and 5 tall. I will have mulitple pages like this. Once one page is full, it will need to be linked to the next set of photos in the gallery. I will be linking each photo to a full size photo with details. Do you have a suggestion of a particular widget that I should use? I am wanting the photos to be about 175 x 175.

June 13, 2014 at 11:10 am #10623Hey,
Can you send me a link and temp admin login to your site? [email protected]I don’t know what could be happing with the menu settings in the theme options so I want to take a look at that.
As for the products, in the theme options > shop settings you can se the product title font and size, I recommend using a smaller size if you have really log titles. But right there in the settings you can set a min height for the title area. Bump that up to 80px and see if it fixes your layout issue.
– Images on the home page.. are you referring to the image menu? I think I need to see a link, I don’t know of what would be causing flashing.
– Yes it’s possible if you added css to make your topbar fixed that it’s covering the logo.. I need to see a link.
– Thumbnails on the product pages… so you don’t want any photos of your product on the product page? You can hide the product photo with css but this seems like an odd request. Maybe if You post a link I would understand.
– Categories… what do you mean by “out of the boxes”?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Theme Options/ Avanced Styling – Feature background
June 13, 2014 at 10:44 am #10618Hey,
It’s kind of new so thats why it’s missing from the documentation. If you use page builder you can add a visual style to each row. One of the class options is the “featured background” class. So you can set up a background in the theme options and then use that throughout your site in rows of pagebuilder.Check out the page builder tutorial for more: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/

Hi there,
First congrats for a great job! I’m pretty happy with the amount of extras that I have now, but once i upgraded, i’m experiencing a few problems:
** I Didnt make a back up but i formated all manually already.
– MENU SETTINGS:
For all items, where you have – ”x x x”Menu font – I can NOT customize anymore (appears a different multiple option over covering all but just have ”latin” there and because has this option covering all i can NOT change colors or sizes neither (I was just trying really change the primary nav, but all is ”covered” – am i missing some plugin or extension? how can i solve that? – i also was trying to center it (or ate least push it closer to my logo that is based on the left and i can NOT see an option there…)– SIZE/ DISPOSITION OF PRODUCTS
All the products have pictures with the same size (220×220). But when the product has a longer tittle than other, the display box appears bigger than the rest, taking off the harmony of the boxes (it’s similar to pinterest now) I would like to have a ”regular” appearence where all the boxes are displayed equally. did i miss some configuration? or Is it do-able using css? (i tried some codes that i found here and wp, but when i set codes like this below, the box become bigger but ”add to cart” in the middle of box and not on the end of the box.) – same for categories (i am using virtue for categories & portrait for products)
.products .product_item {
max-height: 600px;
}– IMAGES ADDED TO HOME PAGE
Brilliant extra. I loved that. 2 questions here:
1.) can i add words in between the images?
2.) they appearing ”flashing” as the page moves. is it possible make them static, taking the movement out?– Logo does NOT appear on mobile version (can it be because i’m using fixed topbar?)
.topclass { position: fixed; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; }– It’s possible to remove the Thumbnails from the products pages?
– It’s there a way that in categories, the name of the categories appears out of the boxes?
All the rest is running perfectly!
Thank you very much.
PipaIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Paragraph text area
I created a text area with a widget. *Login to see link . I am having trouble putting a background just in the center section where the text is located, and change the font to white. When I try to use the text editor in page builder it does not give me an option to change font color.
In forum: Virtue ThemeI have a gallery page. The template is portfolio grid and I have ticked the Filter box. The filter looks very faint however and I’d like to change the CSS for it. Where can I find the rules for the filter, so that I can work out what I need to change?
Look forward to hearing from you.
In forum: Virtue ThemeI noticed an unusual discrepancy between how my blog posts are displayed on my homepage and the Blog Page/Grid template page.
On my homepage, the blog posts are correctly summarized for the wordcount (56 words) that I specified through the Theme Options followed by the “Read More…” link. The blog posts are displayed using the Theme Layout–>Home Layout–>Home Layout Manager’s Latest Blog Posts widget. But when I use the blog page/grid template, my posts don’t seem to be summarized.
I’m not sure if the issue lies in how the post was created or if I need to add some custom CSS to somehow override the summary wordcount.
Thanks!

June 12, 2014 at 11:59 pm #10594You link took me to a page not found… so is it possible you have the wrong link? When you created the page did you select the blog page template?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Footer in middle of page
June 12, 2014 at 11:55 pm #10593So I see that you clicked to make the content area transparent but you didn’t remove the image, which is overriding that you clicked transparent. You need to remove the image in the content area background.
And then in the body background settings you can choose if you want your image to repeat or not.
You can even add this to force the image to cover the size of your page:
body { background-size: cover; }Ben

I did what you said, but I want to completely remove that area. I want the body background to continue to the header, but it looks like there are 2 body areas and it doesn’t look like the other pages. http://www.itacoe.org/about/ compared to http://www.itacoe.org/
I am trying to make the page backgrounds look the same.

June 12, 2014 at 6:20 pm #10583That page has a sidebar which is why the post is on the left. Your sidebar just doesn’t have any widgets in it. If you want to have the page without the sidebar you can do that in the page settings: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#blogpage
