Since I changed my homepage layout to wide I’m searching for the right picture size again.
On your demo ( http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-4/ ) it seems to work perfectly.

Which picture size combined whith which grid settings should I use?
Highest priority is that the slider fits best on all screen sizes. So I would change picture size and of course the slider settings …

My setup at the moment:
– site layout: wide
– slider layout: auto-responsive
– unlimited hight: off
– force full width: off
– grid settings: 1100 x 525px

Thanks for your reply. I realized that the Undefined issue was that I hadn’t selected a box. But, Yes I am using that editor. I even deinstalled and reinstalled it. I even reinstalled WordPress. I finally turned of the page editor plug-in. However, even with that off, I can’t type anything in the Text section nor the Visual section of a page. When I was opening up the Visual Editor (tinymce), the actual editor wouldn’t open up – just the box comes up, but not all the commands (bold, etc.). I have tried multiple themes.

No, I haven’t tried deactivating plugins, yet. I added the Revolution Slider and ended up frustrated with that – shows up differently in ALL three browsers, IE8, Chrome and of course Firefox. I added Meta Slider, that doesn’t help the Editor functions, I know, but . I figured that it might be an issue with the new version of WP not being compatible with the Virtue theme – but, I am using the most current theme.

I gave up for the night. I will deactivate plugins – but, other than the adding of PageBuilders recommended plugins, nothing on the site was new. Frustrating….

I have loaded and am trying to use Page Builder. When I try to use the Visual Editor Widget – it says TypeError: undefined is not a function. I have no idea what that means. I have the premium theme and using the latest WP version. When I click “Okay”, I am unable to add text. I can’t do anything. I tried the regular text box, but there are not options for fonts, colors, etc.

Thanks, WordPress is done and I’m on to Virtue 2.3.9 which I’ve downloaded. I’m now in the Theme Options / Theme update import page… The ‘Turn on and save to start script’ is set to off. It then asks for ‘If using a child theme, enter child theme folder’ I looked around and found /wpcontent/themes/virtue_premium_child folder. Is this what they are looking for? Please bear with me on this next question Ben… Does this then execute the update or are there some other steps I should be taking to complete it?

Hi Ben, i am wondering if there is an option to optimize the content pages for mobile devices? For example, the page the *Login to see link has text wrapped around the image. When i check this page on iPhone the portion of text which wraps the image on a right contains no more than two words on each line which doesn’t look nice. It would be better if mobile version had text wrap disabled. The full screen version should however keep the wrap – to avoid too much white space.

The Theme Options page is not loading
The most likely cause is a plugin conflict, try disabling plugins first if the issue is plugin related report it on the support forms and we will look into the issue. Most likely if a plugin is causing a conflict it’s an issue out of our control as there are many badly coded plugins out there.
If you’ve tried disabling all plugins next either contact your hosting provider or login and find your php settings. It’s possible that you just need to increase your memory limit or max execution time.
You can change those values using the PHP Configuration File (php.ini):
▪ php_value memory_limit = “128M”;
▪ max_execution_time = 360;
… or by modifying the WordPress PHP files (wp-settings.php):
▪ ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ’512M’);
▪ ini_set(‘max_execution_time’, 300);
Please note that it doesn’t work with some cheap web hosts, if that is the case talk to your hosting provider.

What kind of carousel are you wanting? You can add a slider above the page title but adding content in the page editor it meant to be limited. It’s not supposed to be a dynamic page because of how woocommerce work. But you can make custom pages without having to have it be a woocommerce page. What are you wanting to do?

Its done using page builder and setting a row visual style. You can see an example by clicking on the page builder tab and clicking pre-built layouts. Then choose example or example 2 and you will see a page with the parallax background.

Yes you can update in any order you like. The theme is actually to version 2.3.9, you can download the latest from the my-account page. Don’t get confused with the free theme, which is on version 2.1.7

I have a similar desire for my pages. The above code worked for the Home page, but the image selected as “Featured Image” does not appear on other pages. I’m selecting a different image for each page. Did I misunderstand that the above code would work for any page?

Yes you can use the theme itself on multiple domains. The only part that is restricted in the revolution slider. That plugin is bundled with the theme and its only got one license. Just thought I’d chime in since it’s related. If you eventually were able to include a modal popup on add_to_cart both for variable and simple products such that the customer can view their cart in a modal popup and choose to go to checkout/keep shopping without being forced to navigate away from the product/shop page that would be awesome.
I know there are third party plugins to do this, but just thought I’d throw my hat in the ring for this as a feature request.

I really appreciate all the work you do and the awesome support, cheers!

EDIT: I suppose this could be done simply with a lightbox and the cart page, maybe that’s simpler! I’ll have to look into it… whoops!
