Hi!
At the bottom of this page, *Login to see link if you look on the Video tab, the video is aligned to the bottom and I don’t know why there is all the space above it.

Hi maybe im missing something but Im using the Kadence Pro them (and loving it). However I cant seen to find the page templates for blogs (or page templates at all?) Are these only available if I activate Virtue or one of the other themes? Also When I use customise to modify the archive layout I can only get 3 blog posts on 1 page… In you demo site it shows 6?? *Login to see link
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Yes, on all my pages. I thought the option for styling under my global theme settings would apply the styling to all pages.

HI! Under theme options I have my breadcrumb background color set to DB7957 and the font color to ffffff

But if you click on any of the links below you can see the background color is grey, and the font is the default color. Can you please help.

On a landingpage we’re using the “Post Grid/Carousel” to show 4 recent posts in a grid view (A).
On a dedicated news page we’re using “Post Grid/Carousel” to show all (well, most) posts in masonry view (B).

Authors are writing manual excerpts for all posts. This works well in a masonry view where the varied lenght is a strength.
On the landingpage the block needs to fit inside a section and the varied lenght is no longer fitting.

Is there a build in way to override the manual excerpts – or to chose what the block is looking for: Excerpt vs. Excerpt, number of words vs. “Read more” block?

If not, can you point us in the right direction for a more code-heavy approach?

Also, I tried a brand new page with just text and a bunch of headers and tried adding a TOC, and it always adds it to the bottom. I want it right up top, and not in a side bar.

From the dev tool I just got this:
The resource https://kevinheslinphoto.com/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/css/slider/fonts/slider.woff?8p86w5 was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.

Since you’re basically using the blog archive as your homepage, go to Customizer > Blog Posts > Archive Layout, look for the Archive Layout option, select the Right Sidebar layout and the Post Archive Default Sidebar that you use.

You should load the child theme’s text domain. To do that, add this hook on your child theme’s functions.php file:

You should be able to see the “is required” and “Sent from %s” strings on Loco Translate > Plugins > Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features – https://share.getcloudapp.com/2NujDvNj. Kindly sync to see all texts that may not have been loaded on the editor yet.

Hello,

I am using 3rd party brands add on plugin that assigns brands to products – it is similar to your woo extras brands, but it has some additional options. This plugin uses woocommerce product archive pages (product catalog). I am using the same plugin on my other sites and it works perfect, but unfortunately on Kadence theme there are same changes made on product archive pages and as a result content is duplicated. I’ve thought maybe you know what could be the reason for this strange bahaviour? This only happens on kadence theme.

Another problem is I am using Kadence galleries shortocde inside and Kadance gallery layout does not look as it should.

I have three issues that are all related to the Product Carousel block.

1.) The caption font size setting has no effect when mobile is selected. No matter where you adjust the setting it simply uses the desktop setting.
2.) Not sure if this is a theme issue or product carousel block issue. I used the product carousel block on my shop page and published. When going to the Kadence theme – customizer – Woocommerce – product catalog and setting toggle to use a custom shop page the captions on the carousel all change size and color. If I toggle it off all is well. I can’t find any setting or plugin causing this issue. It turns the font white and makes it very small. In case it matter, I have the caption set to below – always show.
3.) Another weird issue is that the captions on the carousel are underlined on the front end even though I have underlining of links off. The underlines do however use the colors set in the theme for links but the text does not.

I can’t provide you with a link since this is not on my live site but on a development site I’m using to test tweaks.

I’m using the free version of the plugin. My problem is styling it, in particular the single product page.I can’t seem to add additional info to the product page, or add additional images, etc. I am used to woocommerce and love how it lays out each page but I do appreciate the functionality of EDD when it comes to checkout. Could you advise on how I could integrate EDD more with Kadence Pro, or at least how to style the single product page? I didn’t really know how to search for this. Hence the new post.
I want to create a similar look to *Login to see link I.E. gaps on the top, left and right of the page.
In this case, it’s white block sitting on essentially a grey background. There’s some margin on the top, left and right.

Hi Ben,

I should have clarified – I mean the featured page options (like using the featured image, slider, etc) that appears for the Feature and Feature – Sidebar templates. I have written a few custom templates that uses this code but I’d like to also add it to the blog/blog grid templates, staff template, etc. I was just hoping for a hook that I could use to insert it into these templates so I don’t have to rewrite them just to include the code.

I can get it to appear if I add it via wp_head but this puts the featured option above everything else, instead of where it normally appears in the other templates. So I’m looking for a hook for it to be added. Hope this clarifies it a bit.
