    We are using Page builder, but I created the page using classic editor. I re-did the page using page builder and the icons showed up properly, but this page needs to be easy for my client to make changes. I would much prefer to be able to create this page in Classic editor because Page Builder is too complicated for my client to use.

    I’ve re-done it in Page Builder for the moment, but I would prefer to construct it in Classic editor to make it as easy for the client as possible.

    There is obviously a programming error in the regular editor as I noted in the bottom of my original post.

    Hi,

    A lot of buttons are not clickable in options theme. I can not use home page caroussel, per exemple. What’s happening?

    Sometimes, I have the following message : javascript:void(0);

    See the image attached.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay. On the droplet, you’re saying that page isn’t loading from the server and is throwing a 500 error. In your server’s error logs, do you see anything regarding modsecurity? That shouldn’t be causing the issue, but just a thought. May I have you provide us login details to the site to see what may be going on?

    Thanks!

    Hey,
    Thanks for reaching out! Do you see a Getting Started tab under Appearance? As for page content, which part are you not seeing? Do you see the Homepage Layout Manager in Theme Options > Home Layout?
    If you want to send login info I would be happy to take a look at your settings. You can set as a private reply.

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hello Hannah,

    Thank You very much for Your answer:) I’ve just realized that was my fault. My intention was to display only selected categories of products on the shop page, so I’ve inserted a woocommerce shortcode. Now I’ve added snippet code slug names for all the categories I wanted to hide.

    Have a nice day:)

    Kind Regards,
    Inga

    Hi there,

    I would like to change the “Related Products” text in my WooCommerce Single Product Page to “You May Also Like …”.

    I am using Kadence Theme Pro. I have searched for a solution in the forums but they all seem to reference Virtue Theme and a Theme Options > Language Settings option that I either cannot find or does not exist in Kadence.

    Can you please help me?

    Thanks – love the theme and blocks plugin.

    Hi Hanna/Karla, I have not been able to reproduce this on the test website os indeed it must be a conflict with something else like a plugin or… maybe a browser extension? I am asking if this is possible because this problem seems to only occur when a colleague who is working on the same dev site edits a page where on of these Kadence Pro blocks are inserted. I can edit and save, close and come back later and every time all is just fine. Only sometimes when one of the others working ont he site did an edit and closed, and then I come to edit the page, then suddenly the blocks show these errors.

    Very weird and very hard to know exactly when this happens and how to trigger the error. I’ll have to find out exactly who and with which browser running which plugins, causes the issue. As soon as I know more on how to reproduce the issue, I’ll create an account for you and you can test for yourself 🙂

    In the mean time: I found one bug in the Modal block. When I set the modal overlay color to solid black rgba(0,0,0,1) then the overlay will not be solid black but will have the default rgba(0,0,0,0.6) as defined in the modal.style.build.css. For now, I just work around it by setting it to rgba(1,1,1,1) or anything else close to black but you might want to fix this 🙂

    Sorry about that! This css should do it for you:

    li.menu-item.menu-item-type-post_type.menu-item-object-page.menu-item-2058 {
        font-weight: bold;
    }

    I have all the settings the same Blog Post Head Content (both default and each post) set as image. I leave the cropped height as default, and also play around by adding a number. I just can’t seem to get the image to crop at the top of the pages on this site. I have spent hours on this. Please help. https://yellowstarranchalpacas.com/whats-new/meet-sylvia-showers/

    Hi Support

    I’ve built half a dozen sites now with Ascend. Usually when I start a new build, I’ll take a copy of the last site we built and use that as a basis for the new site. The way I do this is upload the site files and database to the new site host, change the admin login details, site and home URL’s and bingo, we’re good to go.

    I’ve encountered what seems to be a javascript conflict issue with the site I’m about to build in this way. The database is quite big at this point and we’re using a dozen or so plugins as standard, so I’ve stripped everything down to a basic fresh WP install with nothing additional other than the Ascend theme (we use a child theme normally, but I’ve not even installed this). I’m still experiencing the issue. In the admin area, if I go to the ‘pages’ or ‘posts’ section, I can click the checkbox at the top of the list of pages/posts and it automatically selects all articles listed. As soon as I activate Ascend theme, this functionality no longer works. On the front end, I’ve created a simple primary nav menu. If you reduce the page size down until the mobile hamburger menu appears, the menu no longer opens on click whilst Ascend is activated.

    Wordpress and Ascend are updated to the latest versions as far as I know.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching back to us and glad to hear you were able to sort out the default header image.

    To make the header(title section) positioned under the menu, you can turn off the Transparent header on Theme Options > Transparent Header Options and just set the transparent header enabled on certain pages – https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuBR44x.

    Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best Regards,
    Karla

    Hi Darius,
    This has not been added yet, though it is still planned. v3 works best if Recaptcha is shown on every page of a website, including pages that don’t have a form. Because of this, it will change the way the plugin works and how it prevents spam. So it is not our number one priority at the moment, but it is coming!

    All the best,
    Hannah

    Hi, The Kadence theme Saas starter content includes a Page background block at the top behind the Header and Page title. It includes a 90-degree gradient and a jagged divider. I have adapted this element to represent a river on a site I am building to support the wildfire recovery efforts in Oregon and it works perfectly on all pages. However, I don’t know how to make this same dynamic Block the background to Posts? Post behave differently to pages I know but is it possible to add that preconfigured Block as a background to every Blog Post? so Posts and Pages look identical?

    I have added a temporary background image through Customize/Blog Posts/Single Post Layout/Design/Default Post Layout/Site Background/ but of course this doesn’t behave dynamically between screen sizes the same way as the Block does on a Page.

    Example of the river Block element on a page:
    Example of a Blog Post with a temp image set as background where I want the dynamic Block to be:

    Any help welcome!
    Tom

    Is there a class or something to add to a block to exclude it from the table of contents?

    I have a testimonial on the page that I don’t want included and it outputs a heading tag.

    Thanks,

    I am creating a menu page. Some of the menu items require an icon indicating that they are gluten-free or vegan options. I used the extra shortcodes to insert an icon at the end of the menu item. However, when I view the actual page, text wrapping is cancelled and the next menu item in the list immediately follows the previous one instead of appearing on a new line as it should.

    I added a break code <br/> after each line, but this didn’t work, either. The break code disappears when I update the page. Even if it did work, I need my client to be able to go in and easily update her menu without worrying about adding html code.

    Is there some snippet of custom css I can use to make this appear properly?

    Here is a link to the page:

    Edit for additional info: I noticed a line in the inspect element that says >> font-display: block. This is crossed out with “Unknown property name.” When I changed the line to >> display: block; >> the icon was forced onto a new line all by itself. I don’t know how to fix this, but this may be where the problem is.
