    Hey,
You can use this css to hide the add to cart from the archive pages:

    .archive a.button.product_type_simple.add_to_cart_button.ajax_add_to_cart {
        display: none;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Hello,

I am currently using virtue bold as my theme. I know virtue bold is technically a child theme. We have added a lot of additional css changes on top of virtue bold to get it how we want it. We would prefer to store the css changes in a child theme rather than in the css text box that is in the theme settings. It is just more efficient to call the file instead of having all of the code be injected in the page. We have done this (made a child theme) before for pinnacle and has worked fine. My question is, is it possible to create a child theme from virtue bold? Would it work the same? And just call virtue bold in the functions.php instead of just virtue?

I think we’re missing eachother a bit. The Row Layout block is a part of Kadence Blocks. You would add it to a page using the Gutenberg editor. https://www.kadenceblocks.com/row-layout-block/

Hi. I am using a Portfolio Grid to show different headings for wedding details:
In the individual portfolio pages, like Is there anyway to have the text come first? I think you will see that it would make a lot more sense. Also, is there a way to not display the post title the second time in the post, the title after the photos and before the body text.

Also, at the bottom with the page navigation, anyway to change “previous project” and “next project”, and change the name to something like “previous gallery” and “next gallery”?

    Thanks!

To my knowledge there isn’t a fluid way to transfer siteorigin content to blocks. But you can always keep your old pages as are and then use blocks to create your new pages. Would this work for you or are you wanting to switch everything over to blocks?

I have created my website using the Ascend Shopping template as a reference. I created the home page using page builder and placed a three arrow row separator that is supposed to overlap the footer section. The only way I can get the row separator to appear is by adding a bottom margin of 30px. But when I do that, there is a white space (like an empty row) behind the arrows. If I don’t add a bottom margin, the row separator doesn’t show at all. How do I get the row separator to show and look like it’s overlapping the footer (similar to the Ascend Shopping demo)?

    Hey,
I’m working on a block-based header builder for pro, you will be able to create custom headers based on a block structure where you can add as many blocks as you want and style them all uniquely. The customizer is not a block builder, so structurally you are not adding a block you are enabling a specifically defined element and choosing where it’s placed.

The customizer isn’t saving content like a builder and doesn’t work the same way a builder does. So eventually we will have a header builder that is created using blocks and that will have a structure that would work how you are wanting or how other pagebuilders work.

    Hello Ewelina,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I tried replicating the issue on my test site, however, I am not able to – https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Ku8Rjbq.

Kindly do the following process for debugging:

    1. Update WordPress, plugins and theme to their latest versions.
    2. Try deactivating your plugins one by one and check the menus after each deactivation to see if the issue has been fixed and to pinpoint which plugin may be causing the issue
    3. Kindly right click anywhere on the Menus page and check your browser’s Console to see if there are any errors. If there are errors like scripts not being loaded(403/503), you may reach out to your hosting provider to check the PHP error logs of your website to see what went wrong and if there are any security/permission settings being triggered.

If none of the steps above seem to fix the issue, could you provide us a temporary access to your website so we can investigate the issue further?

Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best Regards,
    Karla

    Hey,

I have a problem if I use the following 2 blocks together on one page: the advanced gallery block and the tab block.
When I click on a tab in the tab block, the position on the page always changes to the bottom. But the position should not change, as you can see in the demo on your page.
The problem occurs only if the advanced gallery block is positioned above the tab block on the page, otherwise not. The Gallery type is Carousel if that is important.
Hopefully I was able to express it in a somewhat understandable way. 🙂

    Best regards
    Marco

Hi, i`m trying to transform a woocommerce shop into a simple product catalog site (without prices & cart).
It works to hide price and “add to cart” button in single product page from customizer.
However, they remain in product archive page.
And I cannot find any settings to hide them in product archive page from customizer…
How can i hide the price and “add to cart” button from product archive?
    Thanks!

    Dear Chris,

First of all – I’m so sorry for my late reply. Originally the problem was referred to us by a web agency, which did a free analysis of our webpage. I have tried to recreate the reported problem through various website analyses, but it seems like the problem is a different one! I just did a Ryte analysis of our shop site https://nordicfunction.dk/shop-nordic-function/, and the result is that we have 1 H1, 2 H4 and 15 H5 (see image for reference). The H1 and the 2 H4’s are set in the site text. But the 15 H5’s are somehow automatically created, by the Woo Commerce storefront displayed on the site. As far as I have understood, Google ‘dislikes’ any page which has a ratio of more than 5 H5’s pr. H1 – which means that our site is ranked far lower than other sites with a more favorable ratio. Can you help us figure out how to have Woo Commerce create less automatic H5’s?

Best wishes, and thank you so much for your help
    Camilla

Hello, I am building a website for therapy providers.

I’ve created pages with their main services and specialties that they offer (24 in total). Each of these services and specialties has a button, “See Providers” that I would like to have link to a page showing only those providers who offer those specialties and services.

I’ve set up a provider page as a portfolio item and added tags to it with that provider’s services and specialties.

The only way I’ve thought of so far to get this to work now is to set up 24 separate pages (one for each service and specialty), each with the Ascend: Post Grid on it set up to only show those portfolio items (providers) tagged with that particular service or specialty.

    Is there a better way?

    Hi there Ben and Hannah.

I didn’t actually asked for the possibility to add a “third” button element.

What I asked is to be able to add as many elements as I want inside the header.

What if for example I want to build up a page that will have a fixed header that will have only custom buttons that I want to build and set up a custom design for each straight from the builder instead of creating a custom WordPress menu where I add specific CSS id’s or classes and I have to do everything in code?

I mean maybe I don’t understand why there’s a limitation in place for any of block elements in the header builder.

It feels to me like some extra code that’s written and that adds limitations instead of extra features.

Probably in my head I would expect to see a builder that lets me add as many element blocks of any type I would like.

Does that make any sense for you guys? I mean why have a limitation there?

As I sad, maybe there’s a logic in place that I don’t see so I said that I should report this and ask about it.

Thank you for taking your time to answer me.

Hi, just finished building my first multilingual site in Kadence Theme
I have 2 small issues translating using WPML. I don’t know if it’s a WP / Kadence or WPML issue but I take the risk of posting it here anyway 😉

Issue 1: I had saved a Kadence button block as a reusable block and translated this in WPML (as found on the WPML docs). Unfortunately, the translation is not showing up on the translated pages. The button texts remain in the original language.
As this block is only used on 3 pages I converted them into regular blocks and could translate them on each page.

Issue 2: I use a Kadence overlay image block. On the translated page the link is gone. Everything else is OK. In the translation editor I do not even see the hyperlink in the source. For the moment I’ve put the link on the title element in the translation, but it would be nicer if the whole image would be clickable just as in the original language.

    Any idea?
Or are there other translation plugins which work better with Kadence theme & blocks?

Please Help! I have redone this page a hundred times, and when it is all ready, the galleries all revert to be the same gallery. So this is a page with the best beaches for family portraits and each beach has its own gallery. I am not just duplicating galleries and changing the images because I thought that might be the problem, I even named each gallery even though I would prefer to not have a name shown. Can you please help. Like I said I have re done this many times, and each time it is ready to go and reverts to this.

    Hey,
You can choose not to show your description in the title area and instead add it directly into the content area of your shop page. This way it will display above your products. Would that work for you?

    Best,
    Hannah
