In reply to: Child theme – repair header template
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.I am not entirely sure how that plugin creates a child theme, but our theme’s code base follows WordPress codex so there shouldn’t be any issue.
Instead of using another plugin to create a child theme, you can download one from this page(https://www.kadencewp.com/child-themes/) by clicking the Example Kadence Child Theme button.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.
Best Regards,

In forum: Virtue ThemeBy default the category label in Woocommerce overlays the category image in the upper left corner. I have a client who would like to see this label appear underneath the image rather than overlaying it. I seen no setting to make this happen, so can it be accomplished with some custom CSS?
Here is the page in question.
Thanks as always!
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Logo swapping
Hey Stephen,
As of now this isn’t built in to the theme though it is something I will add to the feature suggestions.
In the mean time you can do the following.
- Add a new html element using the header builder – Customizer > Header
- Toggle the html item to html and copy and paste the following (update the image tag src to the URL of your white logo)
<img class="homepage-logo" src="https://yourwhitelogourlhere.com" />into the html element that you’ve added to your header - Navigate to Customizer > Additional CSS and paste the following in the CSS box
.home .site-branding {display: none;}.home .homepage-logo {display: block !important;}.homepage-logo {display: none;}
This will hide the default logo on the homepage and show your custom white logo added via the html element in the header and hide the custom logo while showing the default logo on every other page of your website. I hope this works for now and let me know if you have any other questions.
In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Logo swapping
Hi there, what is the best way to use a white logo for just the home page, and the colored logo for the rest of the site? I’ve have it set in the theme settings to the colored one but not sure how to hide that one and use a different one on the home page.

MESSAGE: Not sure if this is a Kadence theme or Kadence blocks or GenerateBlocks issue. I have 6 containers inside a grid inside a container. For desktop screen options I set each of the 6 containers to 33%; for tablet screen options I set each of the 6 containers to 50%. I can’t tell if this 50% tablet command is applied because when I preview my page on:
1. Appearance > Customize > tablet view toggle on, I see 100% containers
2. Services Page Editor > Preview > Tablet, I see 33% containers
3. Browserstack (*Login to see link I have an account) > Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (randomly chose a tablet screen option), I see 100% containers
4. Services Page Editor > Preview > Preview in new tab, I correctly see 50% containersI’m super confused. I feel like I’m finding the correct tablet setting option and correctly entering my values and saving, but my styles are not being applied. Can you help please? Thank you.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: font weight – light is missing
Thank you, but I am using a google font called josefin sans which has many weight options. This is why I am confused I only see two options in the page I’m editing my kadence advanced typography settings. I looked in Appearance > customize > general > typography for somewhere to enable weight options across my site but do not see such an option.
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Split Content – Image fill entire container
Thank you that makes sense, however how do I navigate to the column setting you refer to? I cannot find it anywhere. I tried:
Block navigation > Column, and I can see the vertical guide I can adjust but where are the input fields that I enter the value “63” and also the value “37”? in the Column Settings panel to the right of the page I see background options at the top then tabs for “Visibility Settings”, “Animate on Scroll”, and “Advanced”, and I looked through each possible setting but cannot find column width. Thank you.

In forum: Kadence BlocksSeptember 23, 2020 at 12:33 pm #257454Love this plugin – but now it cause a problem all of a sudden.
Here is a screen video of the problem: *Login to see link
I tried deactivating all plugins and the theme, reinstall both Kadence block plugins but the problem persist. The ones not working are:Advanced Header
Row Layout
Icon List
Split Content
the carousel blocks
Image overlayAll of the above produce the error when added to a page, except för Row layout, where the error occurs when you choose layout.
The rest of the blocks works as expected.
Any ideas?
Best regards

September 23, 2020 at 9:35 am #257441Just to be clear, you are enabling the wppr_review custom post type right. These settings should be labeled “{post type} settings”. For example, for pages, its “Page settings” and for posts is “Posts settings”.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: SiteOrigin Post Carousel
Hello!
I’m having a problem getting the posts from just one category to show on the SiteOrigin Post Carousel plug in.
(Bottom of the home page, under NEWS AND EVENTS title)I have the posts designated to 2 categories; and designated just one category to show in the posts query settings within the plug in. But posts from both categories are displaying.
Thank you for your help,
