You bet! In your WordPress dashboard navigate to Appearance > Kadence. On the right hand side of the page you’ll see an activation pane where you will enter your API key and email address. Click “Active” and you are good to go.

To get your API key log in to https://www.kadencewp.com and then go to License Keys.

At the top of that page you’ll see your API key and email address. You’ll need to enter both in your API key and email address in WordPress site.

Hey Dave,

Right now you can set two of the things on your list.

Title Container Min Height – Appearance > Customizer > Page Layout > General
Page Title Background Appearance > Customizer > Page Layout > Design

However, we don’t have an overlay option yet but will most likely add that soon.

Thanks. I already had Infinite scroll on, I had posts per page set to the maximum (20).

I’ve tried turning infinite scroll off and then back on. I’ve also changed the posts per page to various numbers (4, 10, 12, 20).

I’ve also tried changing the post output style to see if that made a difference in infinite scrolling, but it did not.

I see that there are some “thinking more” dots when I scroll to the bottom, but those go away and no additional posts display.

What other possible solutions?

I’ll check the other pages. But more likely, the problem is in Woocommerce. It is adding the [featured_products] shortcode that changes the page

Hi, After several months I updated your themes and plugins and now on the home page slider (kadence slider plugin) GO button appeared on the bottom of the slider. No clue how to remove it as I never placed it there when designing the slider. Any suggestions? Mobile site remained unchanged.

Well my next question regarding SiteOrigin Post Carousel is, how can I post from just one category? I have the posts designated to categories; and designated that category in the posts query of SiteOrigin Post Carousel plug in. But no posts are displaying. (Bottom of the home page, under NEWS AND EVENTS)

Hi Hannah,

I usually work in Firefox, but will also preview in Chrome and Safari; here’s the Resources page in all three:

The space at the bottom of the Home page isn’t as drastic but it’s still there and, for Firefox, the content fills the screen but I can scroll down and the space is still there.

1. At cart page, how to remove Shipping block under Subtotal, may be replacing that with “Shipping is calculated at checkout page”

2. How to disable checkbox Ship to a different address. I want to simplify to just using one address.

Hi guys! Does anyone know how to re-import a starter template? It goes messed up when I tried to edit the page with Elementor… so when I went back to WordPress editor, things got messed up. I tried deleting the pages, and then importing the template again.. but it doesn’t work. How can I get back a fresh install of the template, without having to start over with a fresh WP install? I have exported the kadence customizer settings already.

I also tried to use the revisions on the page. Still no luck.

I’ve switched to the Kadence theme for websites after using Genesis for a long time. One thing available I Genesis that isn’t an option in Kadence is the ability to specify the page template on a woocommerce category. Is this something you’d consider adding to Kadence?

Kadence theme only has the one spot in the customer to specify the page layout for woocommerce archive and some categories I’d like to be able to specify an alternate with or without the sidebar for instance.

Thanks for reaching out.

You can do this by enabling the Infinite scroll on blog archive page on the Theme Options – https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluYPer5. Afterward, edit your blog page to set how many posts per page you want to show under the Blog options. I would recommend a number less than your total number of published posts so you can notice the effect of the infinite scrolling.

Thanks for reaching back to us and providing a screenshot.

I’m noticing that you don’t have the latest version of the theme: http://www.skiandclub.ru/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/style.css

That file says 4.9.25 and the latest 4.9.30

Can you manually update the theme, perhaps you have a file missing or corrupted.

If that doesn’t help can you please look at your website’s server error logs so we’ll know what error shows when you’ve included the Featured Products on the home page layout? As a debugging step, I would recommend deactivating your plugins one by one and check the Feature products on the homepage after each activation to see which plugin may be causing the issue.

If that doesn’t help can you send a temp login to your site?

Hey,
I strongly recommend you provide a fallback,(background image) for the slide, make sure the image is the same ratio as the video.

You have to define a size, it’s ignored kind of if you use respect image ratio but the math that goes into determining overlay layer sizes still depends on it. Still, though, you need to add a background image for all that to work properly.

In terms of the video quality when I look directly at the video: https://emwexcursions.com.customers.tigertech.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/EMW.mp4 it doesn’t appear very high quality. Perhaps you are compressing when you upload?

The slider wouldn’t change the quality, it whats uploaded and based on the direct link it’s not very clear.

A final point, I suggest you make your video 12-16 seconds at most, it’s a background element and you don’t want to force everyone to load a 47 second video just to see 2-3 seconds of it in the background before they scroll further or click on a link on your page.

Hey Dave,

I’m trying to make sure I understand what you are trying to do but if I understand correctly I think the best option would be to set a default image for the Page Title Background. That way if no featured image is set on a page it will load the default image automatically.

It’s not showing on desktop either which means you are likely only checking while logged in, which means that your page is likely only visible for logged in users. Make sure your new page is published as “public”

Hey guys, I am not sure if this is a theme issue or not. I changed the page that is the index page on my site to a new page. All is working fine on my desktop but on the mobile version of the site I am getting a “Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist” message. Any thoughts?
