Hey Andrew,
Is your homepage set as a static page? If so, you can go into your home edit page and open the Page Settings tab. There you can enable the Transparent Header. See screenshot:

Then, you can navigate to Customize > Header > Transparent Header > Design and set up your transparent header as you’re wanting.

I just heard from the PublishPress support:

The problem is that action was originally created to only display after the content, showing the author profile box. But we have a param to force it to display every time you call it. You just need to set the 4th param as true.

*Cloudflare is blocking the PHP code addition here.

This has fixed the issue on archive pages and also works on single pages. The CSS snippet you wrote in one of the previous comments is still required and probably should be added to the KB page: https://docs.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/docs/replace-author-html/ along with the PHP line with 4 parameters.

Yes, it is very odd, I was able to use the short code earlier, but now it is not available for selection/does not appear properly on the site.
I selected the Contact page template and tested it with success. I’ll use this going forward.

I have inventory management enabled for Woocommerce which displays a nice little “in stock” message for each project as appropriate. I’m also using some plugins that provide information below this message so I’d like to put some space beneath this message but don’t see any official way to make this happen.

It sounds silly, but I’m doing this development pro bono for the theatre that doesn’t have much money, so I’m trying to avoid extra licenses. I’m also intrigued to see if I could write the code myself (it’s just outside my comfort zone)….

OK, so I did see that you provide hooks to access the wp_kbp_form_entry and form_entrymeta tables. So, in theory I could redirect the form submission to a confirmation page that could query the table, pull in the data I need, and invoke a payment sequence with payPal.

Not that this is a high volume website, but how can I be sure that the records I’m querying belong to the current user? It looks like you store a user_id in the form_entry table. Is that the WP_Users ID? Then if I require people to register, I could use that. However, I’d rather avoid requiring registration, if possible. Is there any other way to associate a user or session with the entry data?

Hi Hannah,

We usually develop a dynamic shortcode and apply it for this purpose so that the side menu is dynamically displaying the child items based on the page I thought there may be some sort of feature like this in the theme as it’s quite common to want a page specific side menu, this would be a great widget to include with the theme. 🙂

I have a couple of questions please.

Regarding the menu locations, there are locations “third” and “fourth” but I’m a little unsure where they display or how to get them to display. Can you please advise?

Does the theme provide any styling options for side column widgets?

So if I reload the homepage/ shop page the three dropdowns (under the menu) show the standard boxy style for half a second before it loads my style.
Can that be related to the select 2 select somehow loading first?

OK, so select2 is a javascript library that loads when javascript loads (after content) and changes the formate of your standard <select> boxes to a custom HTML output that allows you to style the way it works.

you are only styling the select2 part and not the basic select tag, to get the best results you want to add styles for both.

For example add css like this:

I’ve been looking closely at the Pro Form Block carefully, and like it a lot. In reading the documentation, however, I can’t find any way to pass values from the form into the redirect URL.

Specifically, I’m building a Registration Form for a non-profit where the user selects a training-class and payment plan. It would be great if I could define a redirect something like:

https//my_non_profit.org/redirect-page?class=selectedClass&plan=selectedPlan

Is there any way to do that?

I’m trying to add a back button to my products. I used the following code in the functions.php file.

It doesn’t look good – it appears against the Add to basket button. It’d be better if it was below or at least wasn’t in contact with the butoon. How can I change it or should I be doing something else?

Talking with the developer I realized there never actually was a contact form shortcode option for Virtue Premium. Ascend Premium has this, but for Virtue you would just use the Contact page template. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/templates/contact-template/

You will want to open your front page and turn off the page title, see here: https://kadence-theme.com/docs/page-post-specific-layout-settings/

There isn’t a way to set a custom image for a category page, you can set if for all category pages but not something custom for one specific category. For all product categories you can go to customizer > woocommerce > product catalog
