    Good afternoon,
I am using the Image Menu for category images on the front page. Is there a way to move the overlay title from the image and place it under the image? Link to page– – Thank you, Bre.

    Hey,

    1. Have you cleared all the cache in your Cache Enabler settings?

    2. You can test your page speed using Pingdom tools. This post has tips for speeding up your site: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/need-for-speed/

    3. Where are you getting that error message? It is likely a plugin that is conflicting. I suggest deactivating your plugins to test. Let me know if there’s no change.

    Hannah

I have Kadence theme and child theme installed/activated. EDD installed and an edd_templates folder with files in the child theme. But in the Customizer under Custom Post Type > Downloads Layout, the layout is reflecting the same as the Blog Posts > Archive Layout. It is not reflecting our custom templates or even the settings in the Downloads Layout.

    Hello,

There is no access to the user profile. See for ex. Page not found.

Is it possible to be a problem related on the theme?

    Thank you,

    Nicolae

Hey, I worked it out – works great as the new template uses the existing category description box so Yoast SEO still works as it should. The display now has all products within the category displayed at the top of the page and the category description in rich text is displayed below which has the same formatting options.
Thanks for the pointer – awesome team 🙂

I always use site origin pagebuilder for my pages but the product categories are not pages, they don’t exist as a page.
Are you suggesting that I somehow change the format of the product category to be an actual page which can be applied to any category and as such I can design this all in pagebuilder and theefore decide in which order the elements are placed?

This is a damn fine idea – any pointers in how to do this, where to start?

    Hello
I can’t seem to get the order of my items to work. I’ve changed the menu order, but it isn’t doing anything…

Could you possibly tell me what I’m doing wrong? Here is my page…

    Hi,

I have built a section using info blocks and rows – please see the link below and scroll down to the icon section.

I have it so on mobile view only 2 icons show for each row, this works well on the iPhone 6 or 7 but on the iPhone 11 it is is showing as the 10 icons in a row not the two.

Is there anywhere I can change these settings or do I have to use the tablet view for that?

What is the mobile width set at?

    Thanks, Mel

    #254153

    Hey,
It’s designed to just be a description box. If you are wanting to any content from a pagebuilder I suggest using elementor or site origin pagebuilder and our woocommerce extensions to setup your category archive pages. That way you can build the whole thing with a pagebuilder and edit however you want.

    Hi Hannah,

Thanks for the reply. I tried something similar to this on one of the pages (Drawings), where I made a text gallery. I haven’t put the custom css, and will try that as well. However, it isn’t ideal to have the info cover part of the image when it displays in the Lightbox. Is there a way to add custom css so that the text describing the piece of art would actually show below it instead?

It almost seems like the standard Advanced Gallery is set up closer to what I want – the caption and also image number can show below the image. However, even though I have the settings to show the caption in the Lightbox it is only showing on the hover.

    Thanks,

    Connie

    Hey,
I don’t see how the theme would be breaking this.
The link seems correct and isn’t something the theme would/ or does edit: https://www.eclipsevolleyballkc.com/product/private-volleyball-lessons/?date=2020-08-27&staff=4&time=1530

So there must be something about the query that is tripping up WordPress to think it should be a different page.

Because I don’t have access to this plugin would it be possible for you to send me a temp login so I can take a look at the plugin settings as well as see all that is installed on the site?

Trying to log into my site today, after a weekend automated upgrade of Kadence Blocks from v1.8.10 to v1.8.11, all users encountered a fatal error of “Too many redirects” or “There have been too many invalid login attempts for the username” with the URL of I rolled the site back to a pre-update backup point (last Thursday), when logins were working fine, but still encountered the error. I then reverted to the current backup point, deleted the kadence-blocks folder in /wp-content/plugins/ and was able to log in successfully, but (understandably) got a warning that my Kadence Blocks Pro plugin would not work without the underlying Kadence Blocks plugin. I reinstalled Kadence Blocks multiple times — from that warning prompt, from the Plugins/Add New tab, and by downloading the .zip file and uploading manually — and each time got the error at as soon as I activated the basic plugin. Same result after deleting Kadence Blocks Pro. It looks like the plugin is getting hung up trying to redirect to its options page, and that redirect setting is somewhere that’s not affected by deleting the plugin directories.

The problem doesn’t seem to be specifically related to v1.8.11 — we have three other development and staging versions of this site that all updated to v1.8.11 without problem — but rather to some related page or process that was broken or corrupted during the upgrade process. But I don’t know what or where that page or process is, or how to repair or remove it.

Throughout all these errors blocking login, the public side of the site continues to display without incident.

    Hey Filippo,
You can do that with custom css and page id’s. If you post a link to the pages you want the footer hidden from I would be happy to help with that.

    Hannah

Yes i have cleared the cache. Please try booking a private volleyball lesson. When you get to the cart page and click on the continue shopping it results in a 404. This does not happen on the wordpress 2016 theme. Please see my see my first email regarding this issue #253832 also see my reply to ben’s suggestion #254076.

Again, is there an issue with virtue premium theme that prevents visitors to using the continue shopping button? I have contacted bookingwp.com about there woocommerce appointment plugin and they say it is not an issue with their plugin. As I mentioned in my first email to support #2533832. I have tested this plugin on a wordpress theme 2016 and there is no problem with the continue shopping button.

Hi, I see there has been some questions around the extra category description before and I’d like to know how I can enable Pagebuilder to be applied so I can add widgets or just some formattable text.
I have this enabled currently in WooExtras but because it is not formattable, more than one line of text becomes messy.
I have added an optimised category description to the existing box but due to placement, it appears above the products in the category.
For SEO purposes, this text should be around the 300 words limit but if this is then viewed on mobile, the visitor needs to scroll way down to see the products which kinda goes against the idea of a product category.
I’m sure others would welcome this option.

I can provide a site that demonstrates this issue if required.

    regards
    Andy

    #254121

No, it’s perfect there! I was just wondering if there is a hook for the single product page as well. If you flip between the two pages you see there is a slight Y-alignment difference.

    Thanks,

    BenA

    Hi Paul,
You are likely referencing the row layout block. You can adjust this from the home edit page by setting the background for the row layout block. If that’s not what you mean please post a link:)

    Best,
    Hannah
