Can you set up a seperate forum for the new Kadence theme.
Within the forum set up a Sticky features request.

Here’s a few.
#1 Back to the Top of Page arrow ( Like on the Ascend Theme )
#2 Hamburger menu option – If your pitching this theme to creatives, this is a must. I’ve used another plugin here https://www.robbieewing.com/ but it was a pain the ass to set up.
#3 Cart icon – the number circle should scale as well when you change the icon size.
#4 Woocommerce shop archive pages – ability to customise hover when you mouse of over a product to encourage a click.

I was just wondering, is there a way to hyperlink text in the header to open the search bar? I have the search icon in the top right corner and wanted the word ‘Search’ beside which would also open the search bar. If I input the same hyperlink as the icon, it goes to a new page instead of opening the search bar. The site is digitalflightwire.com

Hey,
The read more tags are meant for archive pages. Make sure that you have set the post summary to full. Does this work for you? If not, can you post a link?

I was curious which plugin would cause that.

I can see virtue.css setting the correct width:

html.js.js-running body.home.page.logged-in.admin-bar.wp-embed-responsive.stickyheader.virtue-skin-default.boxed.customize-support div#wrapper.container {width: 1170px;}

But I also see this html which contradicts by fixing the width narrower:

<header id="kad-banner" class="banner headerclass kad-header-style-three kt-not-mobile-sticky" data-header-shrink="1" data-mobile-sticky="0" data-header-base-height="120" style="top: 32px; width: 1140px;">

Does that mean it is a theme setting that I have got wrong or could it be a plugin changing a theme setting?

*Login to see link will not scroll. The other pages on the site work just fine. There is also a weird grey bar at the top that isn’t on the other pages. Using Pinnacle Premium

On your page, I’m not seeing the normal youtube link in either popup players.

In one you have the short link which won’t work till the next blocks pro update.

In the other you have this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=Jq3eXkTOpC0&feature=emb_logo

Can you switch that to the normal link:

I’m using 7 (!) Ascend galleries with the slider option on the homepage of this site that’s under development, and eventually all will have different images. I have two questions.

First is a problem; I’ve specified a height and width of 244 and that’s what size the images are, but they’re only displaying at 214 x 214 or thereabouts.

I’ve inserted some CSS to removed the slickdots from these slide shows, but is there a way to removed the arrows?

It is more that I prefer to send mobile visitors to a totally different page. i.e mobile and/or tablet devises are detected and redirected to the homepage rather than a landing page for desktop.

I added some CSS so that a gray bar appeared behind the Title text on Image Menu Items, however it’s not doing exactly what I want. I’d like the gray bar to disappear completely on hover (right now if you hover over the Image Menu Item, the Title bar stays visible unless you place your cursor directly over the Title). Here is a link to the Home Page where you can see an example of this: *Login to see link Also, I’d like the gray bar to match the width of the Title rather than the Subtitle (that way the gray bar doesn’t have extra space on either side of the Title even if the Subtitle is longer). This site is password protected, so I’ll provide the login credentials separately. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There isn’t a built-in function for this, but you can use css and media queries to show/hide sections of your homepage. If you post a link and specify what changes you’re wanting I would be happy to help with that.

Hi all
I have a problem whit the color on the phonenumber I have made in a footerwigdet.
On the webpage and on my Ipad the number is white – but on my Iphone the phonelink is still gray – and can hardly bee seen.

Can’t seem to find where in the css I can correct that – anyone know ??

Hannah, thank you for getting back to me.

I had Enable Product Aspect Ration on product Page turned on originally but then noticed that this meant I had to choose a format for the Product Image Aspect ratio i.e. Square, Portrait, Landscape or Wide Landscape and as this is an art website my product images could be any these, so I turned it off.

I must say I think I have tried every imaginable combination of the three theme options under Product Image Size in combination with the setting in Customise > WooCommerce > Image size and nothing seems to work.

After digging around using Chromes inspector I and looking at the uploaded files I have come to realise that the actual image being used on the product page is cropped to 465 x 465 pixels its self so it is not a css issue. The strange thing is, I have hunted and hunted, I can’t find anywhere where these dimensions are set as a WordPress image size.

If you view the website now you will see that I have had to fudge the issue for now by editing the product images in Photoshop to make them square by adding white space as required to make them square.

I have left the original product in place though at – https://www.brittharcus.co.uk/bhnew/product/workshop/ so you can view that if you wish.

That is awesome.

Worked first time and it looks so much more consistent now which is what we were aiming for.

It seems like a little thing but when you present a site to a client that is one of the first things they will pick up on because it is really obvious and they can see the misalignment so they invariably ask you to fix it.

I am excited about using and learning more about Kadence Pro moving forward and also the work being done on patterns within the Gutenberg development team.

There is no point in pushing back against Gutenberg and blocks in WordPress so going down the page builder or the highly customised theme route was always a dead end for me personally.

Sorry been doing other ( mostly good things ) with your new Kadence Theme and this was on the back burner.

This problem is still persisting. Your YouTube player is embedded on the above page twice with the two URL options. Neither work but you get different error messages.

The Stackable plug in works as does the standard YouTube thats ships with WordPress.

I’ve disabled the Stackable plug in so its not that causing the problem.

Sorry for the delay! In Theme Options > Shop Settings try enabling “Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on product Page” if it is not already. Does that make a difference?
