I’d like to assign a different background body image to my homepage, but still use the global background for all posts and archives (not pages) (Global background set in Advanced styling)

or if we remove the global background, can we manually CSS assign a background for all posts and archives (not pages – i’d like to add backgrounds for pages targeted by the page’s ID via css.

Sorry, that was supposed to say Page Title, not tile. The post format does not matter. You should see Post Title and Sub Title options under the editor in your edit page. Do you see that?

I’m working on a landing page in Virtue. I’m using blocks. I’d like the page to have a header with a background that spans the entire page width, and the site logo inside of that, but no menu.

The closest I can get is using a Landing Page Template, and inserting a Row Layout Block, and putting my logo inside of it with a block within that block. But this doesn’t span the whole page.

Is there any way to do this with blocks?

I believe I may have been able to do this with the Site Origin editor, but I don’t see a way to convert the page to Site Origin at this point.

I think a better way of setting this up would be for you to use the page tile option, rather than the post image option. So in your post edit page, under Post Options set Head Content to None. Then under Post Title and Sub Title upload a background image and turn the page title on. I think that will work better for you.

Within your home page template where are the controls to change these 3 images (HOODIES, T SHIRTS, MUSIC ALBUMS) and the links that control action. Additionally, how can I totally remove the footer section residual orange color.

Thanks. In fact I would like to use a separator directly in the footer so that it is on all pages.

Hey,
Do you mean that you want the row separator to enter the footer? If you create a row at the end of your page and use the center small triangle or the three small triangle row separator style it will go into the footer. Will this work for you?

Hey,
Are you using the latest version of page builder by siteorigin? This sounds like a plugin conflict. You could try deactivating your other plugins to test if they are interfering with page builder. You could also try reaching out to the siteorigin guys to see if this is a known issue.

Hello, I want to use the featured projects carousel to get to individual page. Means, when I click on the Image in the carousel then it will go to an individual page like the Image menu but with the featured project carousel. How can I create featured projects? Or how can I solve this?

Hey,
It looks liken you’ve set a max-width of 1280px. Are you setting that? You can adjust this from your post edit page under Post Options.

Just encountered a strange occurrence. Never saw this before.

Using Home Are Widget with Layout Builder.

When I insert a row into Layout Builder…and then SiteOrigin Editor….I get this message.

I have used the same widgets in other areas and have experienced no issues.

Virtue and Ascend were coded differently, so the switch will not be fluid, though all your content should transfer over without issue. We can help re-create anything you’re wanting if you get stuck.
You can’t copy content from one theme to another, but again, we would be happy to steer you in the right direction to create a similar effect.

If I add a password to a page, when I browse to the page the password box shows, I enter the password and I am taken to a captcha. After filling the captcha I just get a white screen.
If I go back to the password box and enter again, I am taken to the content.
Any future attempts work too.
Only when I clear cookies does the problem return.
This is common to all browsers.
So for a new user, they see a white screen. Any ideas?
