In reply to: Lack of margins in Latest Post module
So, I have tried the following experiments…and now wondering whether it just makes sense to fix with a CSS bandage, as inelegant as that might be.
1. Removed css code styling the “Latest Posts” title.
2. Changed the order of the latest posts module to make it first in order, above page content and the home widget.
3. Removed the Home Widget Area.
4. Attempted changing various settings in the Latest Posts module, including the post output style and the number of posts output. Problem persists no matter what the post output format is.Can’t think of anything else, but it seems like that css could be easily overridden, right?

The simplest workaround I can think of would be to create a new page and add your portfolio type via shortcode like this: [portfolio_posts orderby=date style=”pgrid” columns=6 items=12 ratio=”square” lightbox=true showtypes=false type=photoshoot-portfolios]
Then your page will show in the All Projects Default Portfolio Page dropdown. Would that work for you?Hannah

You can create that look using the row layout block in your portfolio post edit page. Does that work for you?

Actually I am waiting for our update to Virtue´s pro-theme. But it seems that something has gone wrong – I don´t understand what´s the problem at the moment.
What happens when you try to update? What version are you currently running?
To my knowledge, it is not in the plans to integrate the page title feature into Virtue.

A few days ago they started not to appear on the website anymore. However, when looking at the blog posts in editing mode, they display and work fine.

Hey Susie,
Blocks is the future so we definitely have been recommending people migrate over. Though the classic editor will likely never fully go away and page builder plugins don’t seem to be on the way out either. You can have both Kadence Blocks and Siteorigin running at the same time, you just can’t use both editors on one page/post. Kadence Blocks works like a page builder plugin and gives you many of the same, and even many improved, functionalities.

Hi – I use the SiteOrigin page builder for my posts and pages and I am wondering whether there is any impetus for me to move to Kadence blocks? From what I have read, it seems that there is no real impetus in terms of functionality to change, but are there any technical reasons why I should or shouldn’t? Can I use both Siteorigin and Kadence Blocks at the same time if I chose to? Thanks.

Thanks a lot for helping me.
I just simply don’t understand, why basic WooC is not able to filter ‘On Sale’ Products 🙁 If it would be able to do this, I wouldn’t use another plugin. This webshop for clothes is not a complicated webshop, I simply have categories, and 3 main attributes (brands, size, color).
What do you think, which plugin (free or not) should I use?And it’s also important, filters to use easy in mobile view. How could a user find filters, if they’re at the bottom of the page?

Specifically, I want to set my portfolio navigation grid icon/link to go NOT to a page, but to: *Login to see link which is a portfolio-type proprietary template and NOT an option in the “All Projects Default Portfolio Page” box.
How do I set the grid icon with this destination?

thank you. didn’t think to faff with the padding settings for the shadow problem :-* i have noticed that sometimes when padding is ignored that changing it, saving and then put it back to the original setting it works…
what/where was the video problem? it was odd in that it was only on old pages that had been updated. worked fine on a new page. i spent several hours digging around looking for where the problem was. just curious… was i looking in the wrong place (as usual)?

In your theme options > shop settings > Product Image Sizes can you confirm you’ve set the “Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on Catalog pages” off. This is different than the Category Image Aspect Ratio

Our product image is 3:2 ratio so I turned off > Category Image Aspect Ratio.
but still the image of the left and right sides are hidden.

The accordion/pane title feature is not working properly on Virtue Bold.
The code on my page only shows the following:
[accordion]
[pane title=”Text” ] etc
But the following gibberish is showing on my page:
<i class=”icon-minus primary-color”></i><i class=”icon-plus”></I>Text
I do not have any icons setup in my back-end code.
FYI, I currently have the Classic Editor plugin — I am not interested in using blocks (old school guy here! LOL)

Are you wanting to do this on a portfolio archive page? You can add your posts via shortcode then add your block content below. The shortcode would look like this:[portfolio_posts orderby=date excerpt=false columns=4 items=4 height=200 lightbox=true showtypes=true cat=photos]
