Yes, I tried that. I added a full-width stretched row with the gradient as a background image, and added the image of the large logo in that row.

That didn’t look good since adding a row on top pushed everything in the right hand column down lower on the page, and it positioned the logo at the left edge of the browser window since it was a stretched row. Also, there was a thin white space (10 pixels or so) at the top of the page, no matter how much I experimented with the row padding.

So, I was hoping there was some code I could add that would allow me to position the gradient at the top of the home page. Please let me know if you come up with any other ideas.

I would suggest just adding the image to the top of your page. Using pagebuilder, create a row and set your image as the background of the row. Then you can add an empty text widget to the row and add some padding. Would this work for you?

How are you setting up your page? Are you wanting just an image, or are you wanting your full header (menu, logo, etc.)? Can you post a link?

Hi Hannah,

I was looking for a way to have a custom splash page, so I used this suggestion and it worked perfectly.

However, now I would like to have a header background image on the home page like I do on all the other pages (which I set up in Advanced Styling > Header Background).

Is there a way to have a background image that goes to the full width of the browser and is visible at the top of the home page now that the header is not displaying?

When I click on an image on my page and it opens in a lightbox, I want to then be able to navigate through the other images on the page in the same way as if the image was part of a gallery. Basically treating all images on a page as if they’re part of a single image gallery, even though they’re all in separate elements. Is there any way to do this?

All I want to do is to have each image linked to a pdf file that would open in a separate page. Go to the above link given to see slideshow of images that I want to put a pdf link to for each recipe.

Hi Hannah,

so after 10 days with Cache Enabler disabled the problem hasn’t recurred, so it seems most probable that was the culprit.

It’s an odd glitch in the sense that it arose a few weeks ago and only affected one (fairly simple) page. We also use it on another Ascend based site without any apparent problem.

I may try a different cacheing plug in and see how it goes. In the meantime thanks as always for your help.

Just a heads up in the linked PR they did not really remove the order-actions css class: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/commit/d5b86259c5bfd18ac9d5163b93a3302558feea54#diff-035896b9dcfca6957109ff14ed262109 At least searching for order-actions on the page does not show up anything (also not as deleted). But maybe you do not mean this particular commit/PR but rather that it has been removed somewhere at this point, then please ignore.

Hello Guys, I’ve searched and tried everything I can to resolve these things without success,
I hope you can help me with them.
1/ I’ve got one product on http://www.eaparts.nz which has been assigned to a subcategory.. and appears in that subcategory ok.
However it also appears in the subcategory’s parent category as a product.
I just can’t figure out why it is doing this.
I have other wp/virtue sites where a product only appears in the actual (sub) category assigned to it.
(I have cleared cached and tried another browser)

2/ Regarding attributes and variations; I have 3 attributes with variations which all work ok, UNTIL I remove prices from the variations which are not currently in stock, relying on the clear advisory header at the top of the variations list (“Some variations do not have prices. Variations (and their attributes) that do not have prices will not be shown in your store.”)
But this is not the case, they all appear on the products page for user choice and return a “Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.” when the no-price variations are chosen from the 3 attributes list.

ok, go into your reusable block and save it. Open a page, click to add a new block and scroll down till you see reusable blocks, click the “manage all reusable blocks link” on that page edit your contact form reusable block. Just open and resave.

likely the block ID is getting confused with the place where you originally created vs where it actually lives in your reusable block area.

There isn’t a way to make only one portion of the page stretch to the edge without doing so for all the content on the page. A way around this is to create a single slide Kadence Slider set to full width. Then select that slider from Theme Options > Home Page Header. Would this work for you?

How do I hide the title, but keep the portfolio icon navigation?
