Topic: I am lost.
I just wanted to download a theme that all I had to do was change the pics. I looked Virtue over it seemed very nice. There are so many options with weird plugins that say you have to make the home page. I really just want a very simple web page. I can’t find and set what I thought I bought. Thanks for any help. You’re always very kind. Sorry I don’t understand.

1. In your theme options > home slider. The top option there “Place behind Header” turn that on.2. WordPress configures active based on the page, not on where you happen to be scrolled in the page. So if the page is the link, it’s “active” to add a scroll spy that changed classes on menu items based on where you are scrolled would require a plugin ( think this can do that https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-scroll-to-id/ )or some custom javascript framework like : http://imakewebthings.com/waypoints/

In forum: Ascend ThemeSo the Testimonials not always loading on to the page, sometimes they just load up easy, then other time nothing. It seems mostly on the reloading of the page.
Just now on Safari I loaded the page and they loaded up fine, then I refreshed the page and got nothing.
On Chrome the refresh also does not load the testimonial content, but if I hard refresh it will load.
The theme is up to date and so are all the plugins, it was using the SG Optimizer( see screenshot attached below), but I disabled it and still no luck.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeGood afternoon. Through trial and error, I’ve managed to piece a site together but find myself at an impasse. I’m attempting to have a home page similar to KADENCE home page (*Login to see link ); transparent nav and becomes white upon scrolling. HELP PLEASE!
One other thing is that the HOME nav item is active regardless of the section- how can I change this so that the current section is the only one highlighted.

Hey,
You can’t actually use a page template on the homepage, as the homepage template will override it. From Theme Options > Home Layout you can enable Portfolio Full and add a portfolio layout to your homepage that way.

In the case of the page above, the content below the page title is a Kadence Slider.

My shop page has started doubling up all images. There are two of every product, one right below the other on my shop page. This never happened before (over 2 years using theme 2 years) and I made zero changes to the site or any settings. I checked the product listings and there is only one of every product (as it should be)
any ideas how to fix ? thanks

I should have added I’m working exclusively with the SiteOrigin page builder, so I’m unsure if that means I can work with the blocks extension you mentioned or not? I’m guessing not, but not to worry.
For the time being I have applied some additional CSS to effectively reverse the way these work. So the default presentation has the title text showing (centre, centre) along with the colour tint overlay.
When you hover, the text slides off and fades out to opacity 0 – and the tint overlay fades out too. On the particular project I’m working with this works much better because you need to know what the images are illustrating without needing to hover. They’re also quite small so I’ve not been needing to use the subtitle text, as there wouldn’t be enough space anyway.
If you’d like me to share a private demo of this do let me know and thanks for considering engineering this as an additional option into any future update.
Once again thank you for your hard work on these fantastic tools and themes.

I cannot recreate the problem with double read more either, it was my fault because as I saw earlier there were already read more links manually added inside the excerpts in some posts, removed them and the issue is no more.There is a minor issue in the blog though, not in the blog-full but in the simple summary blog.
At the end of every page there are the pagination links ok, and when I go to any page, ie 4, the breadcrumbs at the top shows:
Home » Blog – Page 4 of 0
Home » Blog – Page 5 of 0
etc…

I imagine the Gutenberg plugin results in an “unsupported” environment. But thought I’d report this in case there’s some kind of incompatibility coming down the pipe with future releases to WP core. When you have the Gutenberg plugin installed (Version 6.3.0) and you try to add a Kadence advanced button, the button text box isn’t editable. Tried this in a current release of FireFox and Chrome on Windows 10.

In your sidebar, can you tell me what widget is after the recent posts widget. Your page is crashing there, which is causing all the styling and page break.
