yes, in backend it looks fine, just not on the front page. That’s why I’m writing here, that there is some problem. I deleted cache, deleted and reinstalled plugin, but every time after deleting plugin my product pages crashes

When you view your product edit page are you still seeing the price, product image, and everything else? Or is this affecting the backend as well?

Sorry, I may not have been clear. I have custom sidebars with all kinds of custom content built into them, not just blog categories, for different blog category archive pages. For example I have blog categories:
-Buyers
-Sellers
-Investors
-Events & WorkshopsAll of which have different custom sidebars with lots of custom content built into the widgets, from text/HTML, menus, recent posts, lead capture form, etc. Need to find the cleanest work-around to assigning my custom sidebars to specific blog category archive pages.

Sorry, I just realized the category edit pages do not allow you to select a specific sidebar. A workaround would be to add your blog posts categories via shortcode. You can use the default page template and choose your sidebar, then add a shortcode like the following into the content area:
[blog_posts orderby=date items=8 type="normal" cat=photos]Hannah

Hey,
You can create custom sidebars from Theme Options > Misc Settings. Then you can assign content to each from Appearance > Widgets. Then from each edit page, you can select a specific sidebar to show on that page.

In forum: Ascend ThemeI’m using the Modal short code with newsletter subscription and there’s something strange happening.
My client who uses safari browser says modal content appears behind website content (see screen print). None of the buttons (close/subscribe) are clickable and it’s impossible to scroll so when it’s opened it kind of breaks the site until they refresh the page.
I can’t replicate this issue on ipad, iphone or firefox browser but the issue is clearly there.Any speedy ideas would be appreciated as today is the big launch.

Did you try deactivating that plugin? It’s doing something to the archive titles. Pinnacle calls the titles earlier in the page because of how the page titles are set up. That could be why it’s showing the error in pinnacle. Either way, it doesn’t change that the plugin is creating the issue.
You can hack at a fix using a child theme and custom functions to unhook whatever that plugin is doing.

It depends, it’s like the difference between adding one more image to your page that is small in size. It’s not likely to make a noticeable difference especially since it’s cached after the first load.

I’ve built a custom shop page for a client and was working on a new row layout. I got everything working on the dev page but as soon as brought it over to the shop page the Modal Block doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve tried adding new modals with the default modal link and it still doesn’t seem to be working.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI would like our “short description” or at least an excerpt to show under the title of the product on our SHOP page. We have all fields filled in and the SHOP setting “Stop Product Excerpt from loading in the shop grid pages” toggled OFF.
What will get them to appear? I’m using VIRTUE PRO.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeYou could definitely use a re-useable gutenberg block and just add it to the top of the content area of your pages. Or if you did not want to do this for every page you could add a menu into your child theme.

Great advice that I can build the whole home page inside a widget!
1. How can I remove the outline from the gallery images: http://www.gentil.fi/saitti1/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Metropolia_RGB_A_h_100px.png
2. How to affect the breaking point for mobile, so that I would get mobile header for smaller than 1200 px screens. Now there seems to be a problem with the hero image scaling when the screen is between 900 px and 1200 px.
3. Could I get the 2-word menu items go on two lines, I think the client needs one more menu item there and there is no space.
