In reply to: Add Button to Landing Page
Thanks Kevin.
I’ll try that.
I find it absolutely amazing how something as fundamental as adding text and/or buttons over an image is not possible and this is not only with Kadence themes. However, it can easily be done with WIX. I’ve been exploring WIX and it has come along way but I decided to stay with Ascend because your customer support is magnificent.
Hey, it just dawned on me. I could create a one page slider and add text and/or buttons wherever I want and use that as a landing page though I would use Default instead of Landing – noheader as a template. What do you think?

Hello,
Looks like something is overriding the page layout. I can’t tell for sure what’s wrong, but adding this CSS to theme Options> Advanced Settings should fix it:
@media (min-width: 1200px) { #content.container-fullwidth { width: 1170px !important; } }-Kevin
In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Add Button to Landing Page
I am trying to create a landing page with not only a Title and Subtitle, but also a button. I am trying to put the button in a different location from the Title and Subtitle. I have not succeeded. I did the following:
1. Defined the page Template as Landing – no header.
2. Set Page Content Width to Fullwidth.
3. Added a Kadence Overlay Image block.
4. Edited and styled the Title and Subtitle.
5. Created a button with Kadence Advanced Button block.
6. Tried to drag button over overlay image without success. If you page down you will see the button at the bottom of the screen. Of course I do not want it there but do want to be able to locate it anywhere over the image.
Thanks for your help.
Jerry
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: next/previous page buttons
Hi there,
On mobile when browsing woocommerce the next/prev page arrow buttons are not placed correctly if there are a high number of pages.
You can view it here: *Login to see link
Is this woocommerce/theme conflict?

In forum: Virtue ThemeI’m still prompted to update Virtue Premium periodically, I thought even though I have a child theme, WordPRess understood this, and was till updating the parent theme?
I prefer to just have my images link to nothing or to the original image file, or whatever I was doing that used to work to have the Virtue lightbox pop up.
Now that I’ve used Gutenberg for a while, I can’t remember what my settings were, but I think it was linked to nothing, or maybe “Default” ? I’m certain they were not usually linked to the attachment page or whatever that’s usually called….
I will check out the kb manual update link–but If this has been necessary all along, then it’s been many years since I last updated, and I’m still confused on how I’ve had child themes for various WP installs for years, and been prompted to update via the normal methods (a theme update notice in the WP dashboard) and have reaped the benefits of major noticeable updates….

In forum: Virtue ThemeYou still need to update your parent theme when using a child theme. See here to learn how to manually update: https://kb.kadencethemes.com/knowledge-base/manually-update-your-theme/
Kadence blocks does not include an image block. Only an image overlay (available with Pro only). How are you currently adding your images to the page? What are your image link settings?Hannah
In forum: Ascend Theme*Sorry!* – I suspect this has been asking before – and I KNOW it will be a simple CSS override… but I simply can’t suss it out (having wasted an hour!) – so I thought I’d ask here.
On your image blocks (Mosaic layout, possibly the others too) – when you *hover* the title / info appears – and also a white border / edge (an inner one, within the frame of the image itself).
Now, the irony here is I love this(!) BUT… my client doesn’t and she would prefer no such border.
“Sure” I said, I’ll turn it off via some CSS….
…. 60 minutes later ….. no joy!
How/where can I hide this? Also… IF I wanted that text that appears (post title, etc.) to appear *without* needing to hover (first) how can that be done?
This is on Ascend Premium by the way.
E.g. like on this page:
Thanks so much!

I have now turned on Show the page title by default. As for the edit page and Hide Page Title I have not worked on my site for 2 years now and everything has changed to blocks so I’m not sure how to do that.

April 30, 2019 at 3:45 am #224398HI, in this site *Login to see link we configured the GA code into the theme settings all is working ok. A few weeks later we installed this plugin *Login to see link to have woocommerce advanced tracking recorded in GA *Login to see link …but, in the GA realtime visit graph we had double count from GA for woocommerce pages…. so we disabled the plugin and all now is counting correctly…
The question is: with the default theme GA setting you are sending the advanced ecommerce tracking too?
thank you very much
