Hi Team,
I am adding a “podcast” CPT to a site and using an “archive” page to list all the podcasts.
I want to change the title from “Archives: Podcast” to just “Podcasts” or even something else entirely.
I would also like to add a paragraph of commentary before the list of posts. Is there a way to do this with hooks or do I need to modify a copy of archive.php?
Very many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: List of podcast episodes on front page

Glad you found it! In the settings for the classic editor plugin, you can also turn on the ability to switch from the classic editor to the block editor. That way even if page builder automatically starts the page in the classic editor, you can easily switch to the other if needed.

In forum: Virtue ThemeApril 4, 2019 at 1:13 pm #222116Hi!
We have a web page with a blog and a podcast. All posts in the “Podcast” category are Podcast posts.
We use the blubrry plugin, but the media is hosted on our own server. What we want is a new section on the front page, that lists the most recent podcast posts. The user should be able to start the podcast directly with one click (i.e. the player must be visible). How can I do this?
In the blog posts, the [powerpress] shortcode is used because it also gives the “Play in new window” and “download file” items. I guess it would be easy to use the built-in player instead if that would help..Page: http://www.arkenhorten.no
Example podcast post: *Login to see link
All the podcasts are under “Taler” from the main menu. Note that not all posts under “Taler” are podcasts. Thanks,

Ok, now for a dumb question (please, no one say dumber question). How can I get to the Kadence Blocks, i.e. Gutenberg Page Builder Toolkit plugins. I have them installed, but don’t see them on the pages. Should there be a Gutenberg line on the left hand side? I am also running SiteOrigin Page Builder Premium. Does that interfere with Gutenberg?
Under Settings I see Kadence Blocks. When I click on that and look at the installed blocks and click on the wheel in just about every one of the images it says
Setting defaults has moved into Gutenberg, click on the top right corner settings and go to Kadence Blocks Controls
I don’t see “Gutenberg” anywhere. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong. /Bob

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Numbered list problem
I haven’t noticed this before, so not sure the editor has changed or what. But near the bottom of my home page, I have a numbered list in between some text. I am using a “SiteOrigin Hero” with a background image and some opacity. All my other SiteOrigin Heros seem to work fine, but I can’t get the list to be “bright” like the rest of the text on the page. I played around with getting rid of the list and just typing it in myself. Once I put it between some
<p style=”text-align: justify;” align=”left”>….</p>
tags it seemed to work, but the list wouldn’t stay, it just listed it out in a line. So rather than
1. list item 1
2. list item 2
etcIt went to
1. list item 1 2. list item 2 etc
When I tried to put the numbered list between the paragraph tags above, the tags disappear. So with the numbered list in, the list works, but it is dark and can hardly be seen. When I take the numbered list off, and it is between the paragraph tags, it is bright, but not in a list anymore.
My page is my home page, http://www.cagesplus.com about 3/4 of the way down with the heading
“If this is this your hitting program, then you need our batting cage.”
Any ideas as to what’s going on? Thanks /Bob

Hi
Sorry, I should clarify:- The two fonts for the HTML section are displaying correctly, however, the text for the page builder content on the home page http://retirementparksbedfordshire.co.uk/ is being displayed in white, this is the font color which I wish to change.
Thanks
David

Thanks, Ben. I look forward to that update. Meanwhile, I just tried updating another plugin — a Gravity Forms plugin — and the site hung up again in maintenance mode. I removed the .maintenance file and it got running again, but the Gravity plugin is now gone.
Can you think of any reason my plugins might be causing this? The only plugs I’m using are the Kadence ones and that Gravity form plugin?
Is there a form plugin you recommend over Gravity?
Also, I have Kadence Gutenberg Blocks Pagebuilder Toolkit and the Kadence Blocks Pro installed and active. I’m unclear whether I need both. Please let me know.

I’m not sure I’m following. I don’t see a price showing or the “College Hoodie” on that page. Just the other “Girlie College Hoodie” and the “Kids College Hoodie.”
Here’s what I’m seeing:

In forum: Ascend ThemeApril 4, 2019 at 6:45 am #222051I have an issue with “read more = more tag”. most of post get “read more” to summarize the sentence but there are several posts which don’t get “read more” m and all the sentences appear on the top page. Even I put more-tag on those posts, they look slightly different from the ones automatically get summarized.
Please help me to solve this issue.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Topbar is not responsive
I added the code above and set the row to not collapse but I still have two lines for the topbar. I’d like to have one.
On a page with a sidebar, the layout changed again. Please refer to this page.
I have also noticed that in explorer, the phone number in the topbar disappears. In Google Chrome the phone number is in the topbar.Thank you.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I am having a problem with my Virtue icons displaying X or hourglass instead the real icons. (See Links below)
Specifically when the URL does NOT contain “www.” *Login to see link does not work. If the URL has “www.” in it, it works fine.
Example of page with NO “WWW.” in the URL.
*Login to see linkExample of page WITH “WWW.” in the URL
*Login to see linkI have modified the .htaccess file with a redirect fix it but it keeps getting overwritten by something and I have not figured it out yet.
Is there a better and more permanent way to fix this?

I’m reaching out to you in desperation. A site I manage is having problems that godaddy said were related to the theme, virtue premium.
I had to pay them to switch the theme to twenty seventeen, and then I was able to access the dashboard and reinstalled virtue premium. In a nutshell, I’m still in big trouble and thought maybe you had some tricks I could try.
The latest error message is this:
Notice: Undefined index: input in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas13_data02/65/41902265/html/wp-includes/kses.php on line 1155
[siteorigin_widget class=”SiteOrigin_Widget_Headline_Widget”][/siteorigin_widget]BTW-I deactivated the site origin widgets bundle when I saw that, as well as site origin page builder.
Thanks for any insight.

Hey Hannah,
i made it my mission for this project to use only Kadence Blocks, so i didn’t install Tiny MCE or Page builders.
I can eventually figure out the same css but i was wondering if there isn’t another way, since the code is already there.
Sorry for wasting your time, i’ll shake of my laziness and make some buttons now :))
